Stronger Feelings

"Stanley, go to the back. Call us if someone tries to sneak away from that direction," Garry ordered. "The two of us will deal in front."

Stanley nodded and quickly ran off to go around the place to the road that was behind the house. He waited there, listening to the two of them handle the front side.

He could barely hear Garry's voice at all. A moment later, he heard some noise as a man jumped a fence behind the house, landing on the road next to Stanley.

The man was in his later 30s, if not early 40s, and was in no way very fit to be running around.

"Sir, please cooperate, and don't run away," Stanley said as soon as the man was up on his feet.

"Shit!" the man shouted. He immediately turned left and ran away.

Stanley was ready, so he ran toward the man. He was so fast that he arrived next to the man in just 2 seconds. He jumped and grabbed onto the man, only to go through him and fall on the other side.
