Situation

"David!" Malachi called out when he could no longer head any closer to David. This was due to two reasons. One being because his wife had stated her reason for not approaching David because of her fears that interacting with him would cause an unfavourable event to appear, and the other being that it was too hot for Malachi and Leo to get closer to David.

At the moment, the two were sweating buckets, and their initially clean appearance and clothes got messy with sweat. They breathed heavily as well due to the rate their bodies were getting dehydrated and their lack of ability to take in the hot and dry air.

The almost unbearable environment did not mean Malachi and Leo could not continue to head closer to David though. If they pushed themselves, they could, but due to the first reason, the distance they currently were was already enough.
