The interaction with Malachi just now was surely not what Leo had expected, but he couldn't say he disliked it.

Thankfully, what he had been concerned about, which was Malachi's health since he had suddenly collapsed when he engaged with the granny, had been resolved.

On the surface, Malachi looked fine and seemed to behave like he did before, which further lessened Leo's worries about the incident. The only thing he wasn't too comfortable with was how they were just going to behave like the incident with the granny didn't happen.

Perhaps this was not Malachi's intention, but the way they had ignored such an important matter made it seem like so. It made Leo momentarily have a passing suspicion of if Malachi had something to hide.

Leo did not know why the situation was this awkward, but he didn't let it linger in his mind for long and concentrated on something else.
