Experiment

After being told to wait for their return and stay guard to protect their family by Malachi and Leo, David immediately made his way to the top of the car to get a better view of the surroundings.

David did this so he'd be able to react fast in case an issue pops up. He also had his mother stay inside the car at all times before Malachi and Leo returned.

In the beginning, after being given a task to do, David was very energetic, but as the minutes passed without any form of activity, David slowly grew bored and started to wonder about several things, most of them related to his ability.

Ever since he first realised that he had the ability to conjure spears made completely out of fire that explode upon coming in contact with something, David wondered if that was the only thing his ability was capable of.
