mc is a egoistic retard that never learn and loves to screw himself over and over again, fmc ning is also retarded and stubborn but she's changing for the better as the story goes so I like her. this novel have a lot of fillers and names. author would frequently bring back ingsificant characters so I'm having trouble relating one event to the ones before so most of the time ill be like "who's this guy again?". logic means jackshet to the author and how I wish I could beat the shet out of the author right there and then. one thing that keeps me from dropping the novel is the feeling of satisfaction get when mc slowly dominating the world to create a safe haven for his loved ones. dear author, why do you even bother to write a novel where the mc is hated by most readers cause he's retarded and egoistic piece of thrash..that never FKING LEARN from his mistakes, we readers thirst for growth of characters and interesting plot. we love to see the mc getting stronger, smarter, from a douchebag to a funny shameless mc who is ruthless to his enemies and kind to his ally. we love interesting stories without too much of fillers.
Garbage story, with garbage characters, and equally garbage translation, updates (not that it would matter for newer readers), and editing. It started off decent, and got worse to the point I started going from actually reading chapter to skimming through them, and finally skipping them. I'm not going to explain how garbage this actually is, so I'll just leave you something to decide for yourself if you want to read it. Do you like sneering? Do you like seeing the main character name mentioned in every sentence? Do you like harems? Do you like MCs who never take a loss? Do you like super lucky MCs? Do you like sneering? Do you like your MC to be a turbo virgin hunter? Do you like stories that make it up as they go along? Do you like black and white villains? Do you like exaggerated fights? Do you like unresolved "plot" (because let's face it, this novel has almost none) points? And do you like sneering? If you like all of the above, then Ye Mo, the virgin hunter, the resting sneer face, the strongest abandoned son, is for you. Two thing I learned from this novel, never accept free food, and never read anything from Goose Five. Cheers.
Let's see, I read this till chapter 532. The conclusion or rather critics for now : 1. MC is retard. Come from cultivation world (Where whose fist is bigger is just) and yet doing almost everything that're important like a retard(lack of caution etc.). One chapter he thought to not underestimate enemies. A few or many chapters later he STILL underestimate enemies due to arrogance? or something like that again and again. But the point is MC is flippant that makes me wanna call this novel Flippant Abandoned Son. 2. Plot holes. I "love" it how like many other novel there will be plot hole. And again due to MC being a flippant. 3. Racism. Although I know it is a novel that takes place in modern "background" but I will and always despise racism, except there are enough reason to put it in the story. 4. Scratch those, I think I simply rate this novel due to the MC being a retard that make me rate this lower than 4 stars. It's ok being a retard at the beginning because everything will start from "zero" but if even after many events that threaten MC and those around MC to harm and yet the MC still being a retard eventhough MC has "Plot armor" background without "Growing Up" then it's simply annoying. OH rigth. Thanks for author and translator who tried to make this story available for readers.
I spend around 20-hours reading before dropped this. There're so many situations which are uncomfortably forced for the plot. Which result in: very awkward situations, lack of common senses, annoying character's actions/decisions, weird characters developments/personalities. Aside form those things, this story has a great plot. I guess...
