Misunderstood

I quickly duck down next to a table of flower pots almost knocking them down " oh! Hana what in th- " Marie looks to where I was looking and instead of getting angry she smiles" Now you are stalking him?" she smirks while I furrow my eyebrows getting up from where I was to talk with his mother " I'm not stalking him..just.." Marie notices my face expression had changed so she changes the subject " So how have you been?" I scoff and roll my eyes " These past few days have been torture!" Marie laughs but continues to listen "I have my parents messed up history,Chikashi and that GIRL,and now I owe someone lunch!" Marie shakes her head walking towards me " You have tons on your plate...how about you have dinner with us tonight! Yes chikashi and that women will be joining us Tonight but you can bring that person you owe lunch to over if you want!!" I smile at the idea of making chikashi jealous but at the same time I'd sound wrong...even though I'm still going through with it! " Okay I'm in!" Me and marie both laugh at the idea I've had in mind after I told her but soon had to leave to change at gen's place. "Hey gen I'm having dinner at a relative's house you wanna join?" Gen agrees to going so I told him I'd be right over at his place to get dress " Luckily you brought extra clothes huh" I laugh a bit. "Are you ready hana?" Gen says knocking on the bathroom door where I was changing into a black an white dragon print dress that was short and tight along with my hair down in a bun " One second!" I walk out of the bathroom to get my black long cardigan " Now I'm ready!" Gen smiles " You look pretty..that dress suits you well.." I appreciate his compliant then grab his arm so we could walk to my father's car together. A hour after being in the car together watching street lights come on,passing houses,and seeing people taking walks we finally make it to the hosoki home " Wait are we at the right place?" I look confused towards gen and nod slowly "But isn't this the hosoki home?!" I nod my head again except happily " I guess I forgot to mention that I know them...for a very long time actually." Gen's eyes grow wide "And you never told me!?" I laugh at his shockness "Okay lets gooooo!!!" When we reach the front door of the hosoki's home I immediately knock and wait for someone to open it " Hana!what a surprise it is seeing you here! How are you?" I smile " well your dear wife invited me over for dinner so I accepted" Keigo just let's a deep chuckle out "Well that seems to be right,come in!" I walk into the beautiful home they had " Oh mr. hosoki I have a guest that was also invited." As I speak to keigo I smirk towards gen who was admiring the hosoki home " Ah and what might your name be?" Gen immediately looks at keigo "Gen, Gen iwami! I'm hana's friend" I for some reason didn't feel anyway about being gen's friend even though I like him " Hohoho~Well thank you this home is worth the millons~" I also must've went to space for a bit because they now were talking about another subject "Um do you by any chance know where marie is?" I ask keigo but he doesn't seem to hear me "guess ill go find her.." I knew it was gonna be some trouble because I've never stepped into the hosoki home till now "I don't want it to go that far!" As soon as I hear that voice I immediately think of chikashi so I walk to where it was coming from which was his...old room? "C'mon please?" That women get's closer to chikashi which makes me leave "Oh marie!" I bump into marie who had plates in her hand " I can lend a hand!" I grab some plates from her which makes her smile " Thank you! Everyone else is busy with their own stuff..I'm glad your not busy!" I laugh it off and set the plates on the table alongside with other dishes" So-" Marie cuts me off " I'm going to get keigo and chikashi I'll be back!" I my smile frowns " I'll get gen..." I mumble to myself before getting him. I walk to the living room only to see both gen and chikashi sitting together " Ahem....chikashi..your mother is looking for you.." Chikashi takes one look at me before leaving which makes me panic " Oh my god..." I sit down next to gen and put my hands over my face "So.....you two are engaged?" I look up at gen...and feel tears in my eyes. " why are you crying?" He get's up from his seat to comfort me "It isn't a big deal! I'm happy for you..I mean he is rich.."I elbow gen and give him a glare "I was kidding!" I lay my head in gen's shoulder " I-I have a confession..."Gen looks at me curiously"Well... I honestly don't want our friendship to end but I really like you and I should've been straightforward with you but I wasn't...and I'm sorry for not coming clean sooner!" Gen surprised stands up and gets on both his knees " But your engaged...hana." I smile at gen " Hey it's fake engagement! AND if chikashi can have a girlfriend then I can have a boyfriend!"Gen smiles at what I said " Well if you really like me and.... I reallly like you.."I roll my eyes "I know everything about you Already we've been friends for 3 years now!" Gen nods his head " true.....hana will you go out with me?"I smile and nod " I'd love to!" I hug gen and remember that we are at another person's place so we immediately go to the dinning room " There they finally are!"
