1 Prologue

Each of us has a destiny, a destiny you can't stop from happening, a destiny destined to happen, but are you ready to face it?

Maybe we all want to be ready but every time it happens we don't know what to do.

I took my sword and pointed it at the civilians trying to enter our palace. No one is allowed to come inside our palace without permission, without my permission. I am the prince and it is my responsibility to keep my people safe.

"Prince Aro, the Prince they were calling, is pointing at me with a sword? Is this how immortal or us fight? Cheap..." How dare he insult my power? My position as a prince ?!

It's not because I can't show my power in front of him, he can easily insult my whole being, he might forget I'm the prince.

"It's not because I can't show you my power doesn't mean you can insult me like that, you don't know me." I remained standing where I was as the man who seemed to be their leader stepped closer to me.

"What is your purpose and why are you making trouble?"

"We're not messing up here Prince, let us in." he commanded.

He was so close to me, staring at me so seriously, waiting for me to use the power he wanted to see. I winced because of his disobedience, I pointed the sword at him. But he fears no one, how brave.

"You can't kill me so easy prince but I can do that easily to you ..."

It was low but I could feel the strong emotions in his voice as he said that. He fears no prince, am I really that weak? I can't accept that. I pointed the sword closer to his neck, I don't like someone insulting my power, my strength.

He may forget that I am also a ruthless prince and even if he begs me or insults me I will never pit him and anyone.

"Don't scare me with your fvcking insults, tell me why you're all here?"

I even buried the sword in his skin 'til I could see blood pouring on his skin. He gives me a grin and suddenly his eyes turn to red flaming fire.

A hostanc, he is a hostanc, who only possesses powerful powers around this immortal world.

"I need to talk to the king, the war will happen sooner," he said and suddenly his eyes went back to normal.

"What are you talking about? What about war?"

"The fate, our fate."

I've heard that hundreds of times while mom tells me the story of a special book. Little did I know it was a miracle book which only wrote a fate that is bound to happen. No immortals or even humans could ever change what the book has written.

"Ellion .."

I was alarmed by my father's voice. He knew this man.

"Aro, put it down." He commanded me.

I glanced at the man one time and put my sword back to its peace. His comrades also lowered their weapons.

"It's been a long time, I never heard about hostanc hundred years ago. What brings you here?"

Years ago hostanc was punished by the heavenly, none of them crossed the sea to various places of Avian, all hostanc were trapped in a scary cave. Said no one is able to survive in that cave, where monsters live, eating not their kind.

Many disobeyed their race, many were traitors and because of their dark conscience, innocents were also punished.

"It's happening right now,"

When I was a little prince, mom repeatedly shared a bedtime story about fate. A fate that would destroy and end this world, our world.

And everyone will bring out the box and will live miserably with humans. We and humans have no place to be together, if ever that happened. It will create war.

"Prince Aro .."

I sat in my favorite chair at a bar. Deity Devana owned this place, a deity who is really as beautiful as the calming sea.

But, she no longer exists. For the heavenly sent her to the mortal world for breaking the rule. No immortals are to love humans, if anyone loves a mortal it will surely be the end of our cavalry.

No power, just a normal being who is not used to ordinary life.

"What are the hostanc doing here? And I heard about what is destined to happen in our world. Is that really true?"

A wind brought the whiskey in front of me, I took and drank it. A wind bartender is taking care of his sister's bar. I haven't seen his face yet, maybe he's afraid of me.

"I have no idea. And I don't care about that fate.."

I finished my whiskey and walked out of the bar without looking back. I was stopped when I was hit by a man who was in a hurry. I stared at it in annoyance, no one ever dared to touch me. Not even tried to bump on me.

"Sorry prince," he bowed to apologize. Did he think it's as easy as that?

I approached him and touched his collar. I may possess no power at this moment but I do possess a strong body. I am still strong and I could still fight even though I didn't feel any power in my body.

"Don't mess with me, next time don't mess around!" I glared at him.

I can feel fear in his eyes, begging me to spare him. I carried him in the air with my own hands and held it in my hand to gain strength.

Many people were watching, they always witnessed the cruel part of me, how good for them.

Maybe they wouldn't want someone like me to sit on the king's throne. Well, I never wished to be a king.

"I..I won't do it again Prince Aro," he said with difficulty in breathing. I clenched my jaw in too much irate.

"I, Almaroon Sujento pity no one."

I violently threw him into oblivion, those who were watching us backed away and went back to what they were doing.

No one should mess with me, for I am so fvcked up with this little life of mine! Why can't I use my power!

I am doing my best to feel weak at the moment, so I can feel the fire in me. I tried joining death, fighting with powerful people using my own sword.

While they were flashing powers on wind, I was a normal warrior using only my weapon to fight.

I needed to fight death so I could fully possess my powerful strength. I fought death, till I felt something embracing my whole system.

My body was weak but what inside me is stronger than I could ever imagine. I felt it that time, but it was no use.

It appears in the wrong time, where dead bodies ended the war. I was so useless, I was holding my breath fighting for my death.

If this is really what my power seems to be, I wish I hadn't been born in this world. It's useless, I'm useless.

"Aro! Get back to the palace!" said the baritone voice of the man in front of me.

I just sighed and then followed him. What will be my punishment again?

I want the one that will take me to the brink of death, when I can use my unique useless power.

I went straight to the palace and he sat down on his throne and looked at me seriously as I waited for my punishment.

I'm used to growing up like this, a warfreak prince. I deserve life versus death punishment where I usually get.

"Spill it. I will take whatever the king's punishment is."

"I am doing this as king Aro, so don't doubt me as your father." I nodded.

I never blame anyone for what I do. I am all aware of my deeds.

"Yes king — father,"

"As punishment, you will be sent to the mortal world."

I almost lost my hearing as he said it. Did I hear it right?

"Yes Aro, you heard it right. As your punishment, I will exile you into the world of mortals."

"Father, what am I going to do there? And why am I having that kind punishment? What's the purpose? You can ask me to kill a lion, a monster, and cross the mountains. Just ... not this one."

I can't imagine myself living with the mortals, they are boring. But the King seems so serious to his words. At no time could I convince him. Too true as a king.

"You have a mission, Aro. Find it yourself, the wind will guide you to your fate."

"I have no knowledge of the world of human father,"

"That's the thrill."

I was stunned when he used his magic on me. And then in a moment I only saw darkness all over. And the last thing I remember is me losing my balance.
