She woke after a few hours to be greeted by a dark room. How long had she slept? Becoming more aware of her surroundings, she sensed that someone else was in her room.

She had slept on only one side of her bed and would expect that the other side would be empty by the time she would wake up.

No one could have gotten into her room while she was asleep. She remembered vividly well that she had locked the door before she slept. She glanced at the door which looked intact. A human couldn't have gotten in.

She turned alarmed at the thought that Rex was the one who was in her room. Her heart started to beat loudly against her chest.

A frown came to settle on Raphael's face who picked up on the sound of her hitching heart.

One minute, she was sleeping peacefully with a calm heartbeat, and the next, her heart rate blasted off like a rocket launched into space. What happened to her?
