The team's motion to the edge of the water still not discourage in finding Emilia. Taking a bold step Adam rushed into the water screaming her name...

Suddenly a very dark creature jotted out of the water, he reach a length in mid-air, seen by the team who was stunned by this inscrutable creature, it was faceless but he has a toothless mouth at the trunk of its body. Its skin was smooth and flawless and he has some sort of spikes at his back where the backbone is presumed to be.

Emilia was on the edge of its toothless mouth, its long spike was pierced into the skin of this dark creature, and that caused him to jolt out of the water wailing in pain.

Emilia fell off as it let out an intense screeching cry, that echoed through the forest causing all the birds to glide out of their hiding homes, Adam immediately dived into the water swimming towards Emilia who was trying to swim her way far from this terrible creature, the creature fell back into the water.

The force the vast dark inscrutable creature use in falling back changes the motion of the water, as it threw out Emilia and Adam onto the terrain. the team drags the two dripping people far away from the lake.

Adam was presented well but Emilia survive slight burnt scars and injuries that has dark thick green substance like water lingering at the edge of it. Though it was hard for Frank to detect what causes it, he had an idea of what it might be.

"That creature seems to have diabolic acid in its toothless mouth, and that has caused damage to Emilia's body," frank said using his hand to rub the palm of Emilia, giving a body motion that she's gonna be okay. Undo she look unwell, she was very much alive.

"What sort of acid," Henry asked distressed.

"I have no idea, only an acid can cause harm to the human skin, like sulfur acid but.. sulfur acids don't leave green substances lingering on the sore perimeters. whereas, it burns deeper into the skin textures" Frank explained.

"is there anything you can do to..." Adam asked before he was cut off from his words.

"I wish there was something I could do, but as of now I am helpless like you all... and even more ashamed, I could do nothing" Frank's resentful words struck everyone heart's.

Frank felt a hand on his shoulder, turning to his side he saw it was henry giving a worried expression "A human is nothing without a heart, same to doctors without tools, you've even tried guessing what might have caused it. you've tried your best" Henry console.

Adam supports the injured girl, her slim skinny body, thin waist, round butt, full-but-not-too-large breasts, and long legs seemed socially acceptable in the bikini she wore, her once pale skin has been restored to a pure flawless skin but had been damaged by the unknown acid.

"I don't feel pain at all.. not even the least" Emilia said.

"She will live but under 50 days..."Abby was the one who spoke out, everyone turns to her, her expression was dark and has no hint of a joke. she raises her eyes to meet the gaze of the team "That creature is known as a kreti, a very venomous animal that is dark, anyone who falls prey to it doesn't live about 50 days due to the dangerous poison in its toothless mouth. I have seen it before in my grandma's book and she has told me about it" She pause before continuing "I know it's hard to believe, am surprised myself" she added.

"Who exactly is your grandma?" Chris inquired again.

"My grandma was a great tourist before she...departed, I guess that's why she knows a lot.. am utterly illogical too" Abby said.

'I didn't do much research on my team members' backgrounds since it will be intrusive in their personal life.' Henry thought.

"If I am correct, all this is still related to the Kariba's, We're doubtful about all this piece of information, tell me, what else did your granny say about this creature, where it lives, and how connected it is to this forest and the Kariba's" frank doubtfully questioned.

Abby scratch her head with her hands, and she gave a clueless expression... the team waited patiently for her to respond only to obtain silence.

"Please don't say stuff...."

"I have something in my mind but before saying it, I have to confirm it" Abby gushed out before scurrying her way down the forest.

"First Adam now Abby, why does everyone act as if they know the forest better" Erica huffed.

"Follow me, there should be a cave with human faces carved at the surface of the rocks" Abby's voice came through from the forest. The team follows her, and she kept running and running almost falling off a cliff, but was caught quickly by Chris who was behind her, and she fell over him.

"Don't run clumsily next time" Chris advised. Embarrassed she quickly stood up and apologize. Her cheeks turn red and a silly smile crept to her face. Raising her head she saw the rest of the team behind but they were staring at another direction, turning her back she saw just what she was doubtful about.

A Giant cave with Petroglyphs of tribal people, letting out a gasp, Abby was stunned, just like her granny had told her. It was true...

The group became speechless as they turn to Abby astounded, now wondering.

"What did you say your grandma was again???" Frank asked as he was starting to believe, tons of questions flows through his mind. Cause from what he remembered about the history of Karibas not much was said on the internet or in vast books. The children's blurb about Kariba was just the writer's combination of their ideas and the little they got from the internet. Even the place where the Kariba lived in the blurbs is all fiction. As the internet and vast books know little of them but now, how comes this lady granny knows more than the internet, Has she ever been here before? How does Abby know the exact path to take in finding this place?...

"Tell us more about your granny, how much does she know about this place, from experience I don't think any just-tourist will come and leave unharmed." Frank rained questions at her.

She just looks at him excited to share her story cause for the first time in her life, she was happy others except her granny are ready to hear her story.
