18 Leaving As He Came.

(In the last chapter I forgot quirks existed, but no matter I got it fixed this one)

As Ivan and his Iron Circle advanced through the depot, they moved with considerable fluidity. Despite each Iron Circle Automaton weighing nearly 10 tons, they still moved without clunkyness.

Ivan's suit weighed 15 tons as it was much bigger and retrofitted with far more weapon systems than the automatons. Regardless, they did not move without opposition for long as in the distance Ivan could see tank several tanks, troop transports, and far more.

Running along the tanks were more men in his Scion armor and more Lasguns. In the air, several helicopters began to fly in their direction along with scores of regular men armed with far more anti-tank weapons than the first time.

His sensors also zoomed in on people who were larger or different because of Mutation quirks. He even spotted a literal bear guy among the US soldiers.

'A far more worthy test it seems.'

Ivan leaned forward a little before he began to run, but nowhere near his max speed. Not because he couldn't, but because he had no reason to. When he started to run, his 30 Automatons ran with him.

He could see in the eyes of the soldiers how unnerved this made them as they had assumed they would be slow. Instead, Ivan and his robots were running at 150 Miles Per Hour.

"FIRE!"

The tanks aimed their main guns at them and opened fire one after the other. The large rounds bolted toward them, but he did not dodge. The Depleted Uranium Penetrator shimmered against his shields for a few moments before the shields repelled the round.

Similar situations happened to the Iron Circle which had weaker shields because he had yet to put Arc Reactors in them. However, one round managed to pierce through a weak point in the shields of one of his automatons striking it in the chest.

However, the round flattened itself against the robot's outer armor without causing any damage. Where the round hit, blue veins flashed through the armor and the machine continued its run. The kinetic energy of the round was dispersed as a new addition to the Neo Adamantium Formula.

It wasn't Vibranium just yet, but it was a start in the right direction. Regardless, seemingly mad, the machine began to fire its Mega Bolter at the tank that fired against it. Unlike the DU rounds that had no effect against Neo Adantium, it pierced through the tank hulls with ease.

It then swiveled its gun and fired at the other tanks in that same sprint. The other 29 did the same destroying the tanks that were pelting them with DU rounds. As for the helicopters in the air, Ivan's back-mounted missile launchers fired and destroyed each one.

As for the Power Armor-wearing soldiers, they ran ahead enhanced by their suits and quirks in some cases. The sad fact was that most soldiers did not have strong quirks at all. Some were even quirkless as those who had a strong quirk would rather be a hero. Why bother with the strict rules the army imposed when they could gain fame, wealth, and respect as heroes?

But it did not mean every soldier had a weak quirk. One of the men in Scion Armor held his right hand out and fired a stream of flames. The flames were weak and could not compare to Yoshimura who had a very powerful flame quirk.

After the flame user used his quirk, his fellow soldiers used their quirks as well, but most of these were weak. His shields shimmered a bit under the effects of the quirks used against him, but they endured.

'Seems Hunger and Slake will get their food.'

Ivan held his hands out as the three blades flipped over along with the chainsaws on his wrist began to roar as the adamantium teeth began to spin. But it seemed someone strong was up to the challenge.

---

Michael had a few reasons for joining the US Army rather than becoming a hero. For one, his family had a long-standing tradition of serving since before the quirk era. He had wanted to be a hero, but family expectations affected his choice

He had been in the army for 4 years and only needed another 3 months for his contract to end. However, out of nowhere, this madman who called himself Onslaught, and 30 others teleported into the depot.

The first wave of men who went to stop them were all killed in moments, and more were gathered. However, seeing these giants running at them that fast made him make up his mind. He dropped the new Lasgun that he had been training with and pointed his open palms at one of the smoking tanks that got destroyed.

With a grit of his teeth, he lifted the tank and to threw it at the charging attackers. But before the 60-ton tank hit, the giant leading the attack slashed down with the 3 giant claws and sliced through the tank like butter.

"FUCK!"

In a panic, he started to lift tank after tank that was stored at the Depot and began to throw them one after the other. But just like before, the giant sliced through each one with ease. Just as he picked up another tank he noticed Onslaught brace to run.

"W-"

But he saw Onslaught vanish from where he was standing.

'Huh?'

For a few instances, he did not realize what happened to him or why the world was starting to tilt. But when he looked up at his own body he realised that he had lost his head.

---

Ivan looked down at the telekinetic who had shown quite a good quirk. He reminded him of Fubuki as he also glowed green. Though unlike her, his quirk seemed weaker than even her.

'Decent quirk.'

Typhon opened a portal so Ivan kicked the corpse in along with the head. This was good material as he was going to be experimenting with Quirk factor and his genetics soon.

But on another note, he and his 'Terminators' were in the thick of it now. When he sold the Scion Armor he expected to face them in battle, but this was just sad. His sensors and his own enhanced senses noticed an attack on the right.

The giant bear man was running toward him with his fist pulled back.

"TAKE T-"

Before he was done talking, two nozels opened up near Ivan's chest. From them a stream of liquid promethium was expelled which combusted as it made contact with the air. Like the Salamanders, he too wanted to use the cleansing flames of Flamers.

Once the bear man was dosed in promethium, he screamed in agony for several long seconds before the all-consuming flames killed him. He spun around still spewing promethium while swiping out with Hunger and Slake. the melee weapons attached to his gauntlets cleaved through men and armor with ease.

He cleaved a brutal path through any that dared fight him up close. The nozzles closed as flames were already spreading. Just as he swiped out a soldier in Power Armor dodged his swipe and landed on his forearm. She ran up his arm with his Lasgun aimed at his head.

"DIE!"

However, from where his left collarbone would be, the dual-linked Heavy Lascannons fired. The bright red ray of death melted through the soldier, her armor, and her weapon.

'Nice.'

At that moment his teleporter was back online meaning he could leave. He was disappointed as he still had more weapon systems to test, but he did promise to keep casualties at a minimum.

"Seems you are in luck, I shall be taking my leave, but remember this. I AM ONSLAUGHT THE LORD OF IRON! AND I SHALL ATTACK ONCE MORE IN A MONTH AT THE AIR LOGISTICS COMPLEX! TELL YOUR GOVERNMENT TO GIVE MY TECH A CHALLENGE!"

He of course was not going to show up as he had another place in mind, but he wanted to see if they would believe his words. With a bow, his teleporter activated and in a flash of blue, he and his Iron Circle were gone. From there, he appeared back in his secret workshop.

Yoshimura was not there anymore as she was busy getting his lunch ready. Regardless, his Power Armor began to open slightly as it let him out. Once he and Typhon jumped out, he turned to the Iron Circle who were all looking at him.

"Well done my friends, take your rest. I shall be running some maintenance on you 30 soon."

They of course weren't sentient, but he did not talk down to them. If they became sentient he wanted these machines to love him as a Father and like any good Father he would not scorn his children.

Even if they were killing machines he created. But in his words, the 30 Automatons organized themselves in 5 rows of 6 before shutting down. He smiled as he walked through the rows checking up on machines.

Each one's outer armor was still unfazed with out a scratch. Even the one that got hit dead center with a DU penetrator round was perfectly fine. He placed his hand on the machine and looked for damage, but did not find any.

'I truly am amazing, but now that I think about it, my Heavenly Restriction is to give up all Cursed Energy in exchange for a strong body. What if I gain mana? Will that count as Cursed Energy?'

"Hey Typhon, do you use Cursed Energy?"

Typhon shook his head and chirped.

"You use Mana? But isn't this world without mana? Isn't it going to kill you without mana?

Typhon shook his head. He could not speak, but he and Ivan were contacted by the soul. After a few more roars and chirps he got the idea. Dragons even little ones like him had a Dragon Heart.

Essentially an organ that made Mana so dragons did not subsist on ambient mana but they could.

"So, all worlds technically have mana as it is a universal energy, but the concentration is so damn small that it is nearly impossible to use. But, like all energy, there are points with higher concentrations. Can you detect these places?"

Typhon nodded which made Ivan face palm.

"Why didn't you say that before?"

With a shrug of the wings, Typhon said it never came up.

"We will need to find these mana hotspots to test this theory I have. If I can control these Mana-dense hot spots, I might be able to use Mana to make myself power without losing my Restriction. Good to know."

He walked toward the elevator out of his workshop, but as he did he shifted back into his Geralt form. When he entered the elevator, he pushed the floor buttons in order.

05-23-2025 the date he got ran over and sent into this world. Now that he was older, he had stopped being angry over the 'curse' he got as it gave him these powers. Without the quirk Creation, he never would have made his Power Armor.

That he was quite grateful for now. With that, the elevator began to rise from deep underground into the large house. The elevator door opened in his room and it was hidden as only Yoshimura was allowed in here besides him.

Once he stepped out of the elevator, he left his room as he could smell burgers. When he walked into the kitchen, Yoshimura and the 4 other maids she hired were hard at work cooking up big burgers for him.

Seeing him made Yoshimura smile.

"Mr. Schneider, your burgers are ready."

"Smells great."

As he sat down at the table she brought over a large tray for him.

"2 beef patties, lettuce, avocado, onion, habanero peppers, mayo, ketchup, no mustard or cheese as you said."

"Great."

He really could not stand the taste of cheese, not in his past life not in this one. On another note, this is what a man should be welcomed to after a battle. A big feast.

Typhon licked his lips, jumped off his shoulders, and picked up a burger in his little hands.

"Enjoy them."

With that, he and his pet ate over 100 burgers together. Yoshimura was more than happy to make food for him, but she was glad to have help. Feeding a growing Space Marine was hard work and expensive, but money was not an issue.

But then she thought of Gustave who was an even bigger food sink as he was also growing like his Master. With a sigh, she walked outside to gaze into the pool which was lightly steaming like a jacuzzi because of the large croc inside.

He was asleep right now, but he was already 7 meters long. A meter of growth per year was crazy as he was already bigger than any normal croc on record and still growing.

'Feeding the Master is already hard, feeding this guy is a nightmare. Good thing we are rich.'
