Due to the recent happenings, we hastily accomplished our torch barrier. Everyone helped and no one seemed to just idle. Even Nadia, who will not go outside, got herself busy with making molotovs with the extra alcohol bottles inside the estate and spears. We made a total of ten molotovs, these molotovs will only be used in a desperate situation. We don't want ourselves be burned along with the forest.

Time went by and it is already nearing 6:00 pm, according to our phones.

After we finished our preparation, we then ate dinner early so that all of our focus will be on the basement doors. After eating our dinner and finished our necessities, all of us were gathered in the living room to plan about the basement doors of the other houses.

"The first basement door will appear in almost an hour from now, we should assign people for each remaining houses and be on our way before night comes." Gregory said,

"I will not get out of this house." Nadia blatantly said,

"Well, we will just get papers in the basement door so it's not like we need to maneuver a lot of people for one single house. So we can just deploy 2 or 3 people at most for each house." Jane said,

"Okay, Me, Venus and Claire will go to the first house." Gregory said,

"I'll go with you guys also." Troy said,

"You'll be assigned to a different house so don't." Gregory said,

"I will also go to my assigned house. I just don't want to separate myself from Venus. I just want to be sure that nothing will happen." Troy said in a very serious tone,

"haa… Nothing will happen to her, we are just going to get a paper and then we are out but if you want to then no one will stop you though." Jasmine sighed,

"How sure are you that there is only a paper in it?" Troy questioned,

"Because the first time we entered one is absolutely just that." Jasmine answered,

"Yeah, in this estate's basement, the other basementmight be different all together so I don't want to take any chances." Troy rebuked,

"Troy is right. We better not belittle the situation, and will be surprised that it didn't go as we thought it would. Anything could still happen so we better hoped for the best." Nadia agreed,

"I will go second, along with Daryl and Sheila." James said,

"Then Me, Jasmine and Kristen will go third. Jefferson, Troy and Steph will go fourth and Jane, Wesley and Gregorycan go last since Nadia doesn't really want to go out. Are there objections with that?" Johnny assigned,

"I'm alright with that. Each group will carry one tall lamp torch and bring it along with them, if there are no more complaints then we better start going now. Also, don't forget our phones and our spears, just to be sure." Gregory commanded.

All of us dispersed and immediately went to our assigned houses. The sunlight slowly becomes dimmer and dimmer, Jasmine, Johnny and Wesley immediately lit all the torches as one representative took one torch and went on our way.

James placed our torch just outside the door of our assigned house. Once we entered our assigned house, we immediately lit all the bulbs. Be it the kitchen, CR or rooms, we never let a single bulb unlit. The three of us sat down on the couch and relaxed since we still had about two hours before this house's basement door appears.

"Haa… I only wanted a nice outing before our semester starts but it turns out to become a nightmare instead." James sighed,

"You could say that again. I really hope the basement doors will lead us to our escape. In the future, I will never go near a waterfall ever again." Sheila said,

Our assigned house is located just the left of the estate. The first basement door is located at the top right, the house that I first saw the basement door, next is ours, next is top left which is across ours, next is just the right of the estate and lastly is the middle top which is just across the estate. All of us are already prepared and stationed to the assigned house and ready to grab whatever is in the other basement doors.

I held my flashlight firmly, tapping it on my other palm, feeling anxious. I just wish that we could just get this over with already and go home. I sighed a very long breath.

"Let's go grab some coffee first." I said,

"Yeah." Both of them agreed,

We prepared ourselves some coffee and snacks and placed it on the table in the living room. We are not really that nervous because the three of us already entered a basement so we expect that it would be the same with this one.

As time slowly ticking, it is already 7:04 pm. Gregory, Venus, Claire and Troy must have had entered their basement already. We would not expect them to take it long before they return to the estate with the paper in hand.

We continued our wait by chatting to kill the time; reminiscing to our crazy moments together and laugh to our actions of the past. We were talking about our missed home works, those mad teachers, those handsome and beautiful faculties and many, many more.

After a good amount of minutes have passed, we checked our phones time; it says 7:58 pm.

"It's already nearing 8:00 pm, we better start searching around and look for the door." I said.

Both of them agreed to what I said and we started moving. In just a few minutes, the basement door will appear. I gripped my spear and my flashlight as I walked around the hallway.

"GUYS! I FOUND IT!" Sheila shouted.

We immediately went to where Sheila's at. She is just outside the kitchen. I started thinking maybe all the basement doors are found just outside the kitchen, the same with the first door that I have seen as well as the basement door in the estate.

James opened the door and then we went in. James went first then I followed while Sheila is at the rear.

"GUYS! STOP!" a familiar male voice was heard from outside,

We stopped in the middle of the stairs.

"Wasn't that Gregory?" Sheila said,

"It was… Stop?" I questioned,

"Let's try going back." Sheila said.

As Sheila tried to turn around, she tripped and fell to me. I immediately threw my spear by instinct and tried to catch Sheila but it was already too late for my muscles to react as fast as the moment happened. Westumbled on the ground and got my shoulder dislocated. I shouted from the bottom of my lungs.
