Elena stared at the moving cab dumbfounded. What just happened? She asked herself. As she was about to turn towards the direction of the house,she bumped into her best friend Charlotte. Charlotte,Elena are you okay?Wait a second turn around,Charlotte began inspecting Elena like a mother who is worried for her child. Elena,Charlotte that's enough,i am okay.Elena stopped Charlotte before she could strip her in public. Charlotte heaved a sigh of relief, I am sorry Elena, I just saw the news, I became so scared and anxious that all I could think of was running to you immediately in order to save you. I am so sorry Elena, please forgive me. Elena, hey Charlotte you don't have to worry about me. I am actually safe as you can see, there is no need to panic. A wave of anger flashed in Charlotte's eyes "how dare you, how dare you tell me not to panic,your life was in danger for goodness sake, there was a riot you could have been killed and you are actually telling me not to worry, are you being serious right now? Elena the world is a cruel place for kind people like you and you are telling me not to worry? Elena stared at her friend with tears filled eyes. Charlotte noticed Elena's tears and her anger instantly subsided.C Charlotte immediately gave her friend a tight hug. Thank you,Elena said.Thank you do being a good friend to me Charlotte,thank you. Charlotte,hey don't cry, I am sorry if I yelled at you but it is because I am worried about you. Please don't take it to heart. Elena smiled, I am not upset with you Charlotte, I was just happy to know that you care about me that's all. These are tears of joy. Charlotte, well in that case,let's go in. We can't stand outside for a whole day now can we? Elena smiled at her friend, okay let's go then.B y the way, have you prepared dinner? Elena asked.Yes, Charlotte replied. What's for dinner then? Elena inquired. Chicken soup,tofu,lobster and for dessert I baked some cupcakes. Hmmmmm! Elena exclaimed. They all smell good. I can't wait to have some of this delicious food made by you.You know what,set the table I am starving.Elena put down her bag and rushed to the bathroom to take a shower....After her bath, Elena rushed to have dinner with her friend.So how was your day?Charlotte started the conversation. Oh nothing much except for the fact that I almost died today.... Elena said. WHAT! Charlotte exclaimed. Wait before you ask me,give me a chance to tell you how everything happened, so what happened is..... Elena narrated the whole story to Charlotte. OH MY GOD! Charlotte exclaimed.See, this is why I tell you the world is cruel. You were in trouble and no one even stopped to help you except for that good Samaritan who helped you. By the way, What's his name? Elena,well his name is Oh My God, I don't know his name!!!
