Chapter 11 The lunch invitation 2

Alright then, I will be there at 2:30pm(Drake)

Okay(Elena)

Elena put down her phone and made her bed. She dashed into the bathroom to take a bath.

She was so excited about the lunch invitation that she couldn't wait to inform Charlotte about it.

After her bath,Elena rushed to the kitchen and found Charlotte preparing breakfast.

(P.S Elena and Charles lives in an apartment with two rooms and a living room. There's a kitchen and each room has a bathroom)...

Hey Charlotte, Elena called excitedly.Good morning Charles, Elena greeted with a smile on her face.

You look so happy Elena. What happened? Your face is glowing and it seems like you won a lottery

Oh Charlotte, I just won more than a lottery.

Elena will you please tell me what happened so I can celebrate with you, I also want to share in your happiness.

Okay do you remember my boss Drake?

Yeah I do. But why are you talking about your boss?Tell me what made you so happy.

What made me happy is that he asked me out for lunch.

What! Charlotte exclaimed in shock.

Are you serious? Did he actually ask you out for lunch?

Yes he did.

Really? Did you accept the invitation? Charlotte asked one question after another,She was really happy and excited for her friends.

Yes I did. Elena replied back excitedly.

Oh My God Elena. I really can't believe this.My naïve friend got an invitation to lunch by her boss? Charlotte questioned again. She still couldn't believe that Elena was invited to lunch by Drake.

Elena wait! Charlotte expression suddenly became serious.Are you sure he asked you out to lunch? I mean you are not lying to me right? Charlotte asked suspiciously.

Oh Charlotte, it seems you don't believe me anymore. I can see you no longer trust me. Elena said in a sulky voice.

Oh Elena it's not that, it's just... Charlotte let out a sigh.

it's just that the news you have given me sounds too good to be true,Charlotte said.

Well it's the truth , Elena said and returned to her joyful nature and so did Charlotte.

So what are you going to wear? Charlotte asked.

Well I don't have to worry about that because I have a friend who is the best in business.

Awwwn. stop it Elena don't flatter me.

After their children they both had breakfast and did the dishes.

At 1:30pm,

Charlotte grabbed Elena by the wrist watch dragged her about the way to the room.She selected a dress for Elena to wear and helped her put on light makeup.

She gave Elena a wavy hair style which made Elena look very beautiful.

(P.S Elena had really long hair. Her hair is at a waist length)...

At exactly 2:30,

Drake arrived at Elena's apartment.

He took out his phone and made a call to Elena.

Elena had just finished up when she received a call from Drake.

Elena I am outside your apartment(Drake)

Oh okay, I will be down in a jiffy(Elena)

Elena checked herself in the mirror again, she picked up her handbag and ran towards the elevator.

When she went out of her apartment,she was shocked by what she saw.
