1 Chapter 1: Battle on Geonosis

The First thing I saw were Bacta tanks, we were all designated; CT-1895, CT-1296, CT-2935, CT-2983 And me CT-1A11A, I was different I could feel it a unique soldier but I thought we all were the same, we were raised on Kamino As a family, we grew together, trained together, ate together, slept in the same cabins each night, woke up at the same time, and were led by the same people we were the 501st Legion.

In our time together we got our names given to us by each other; CT-1895 A.K.A 'Zeta`, CT-1296 A.K.A 'Gamma`, CT-2935 A.K.A 'Epsilon', CT-2983 A.K.A 'Beta' and I was known as another clone We weren't working together too well though, we barely communicated and in time we realized that's how we kept failing the training sessions, it took time until we understood but when we did we came to be the best, after being given the DC-15 Blaster rifles Captain Rex on the other hand was given two DC-17 blaster pistols.

Our first assignment was the hardest, nothing like the simulations we went through on Kamino, but it was like that for all of us wasn't it, Many fell in that battle, it was hard, hot Sandy and almost blinding, blaster bolts and thermal detonators, the clankers were good fighters, better than what was in the simulations, many of my brothers fell in that battle, we were overrun the battle seemed unwinnable we were not confident back then, we never experienced that type of onslaught on Kamino.

*in the action*

The 501st legion were falling apart, the separatist really had us surprised "these clankers have it in for us now!" one of the troopers said just before he flew back due to a blaster bolt, Zeta who was behind cover said "we're running low on supplies!, we can't last much longer!, where are those reinforcements?"

I take cover beside the trooper, "it looks like it's just us for now, we need to stay focused on the target, our backup will show up, I hope" I pop my head up almost being hit by a blaster bolt, I aim and fire each bolt hits its mark, "good shooting lucky" Zeta said beside me, I never got a nickname on Kamino, I was just a no one but now i'm a someone.

I head towards the next pile of rocks, lucky to be alive after that daring move, my right arm was hit by a blaster "I've been hit!" I pull out my DC-15 side arm pistol aiming at the droids as a clone medic rushed up to me and started trying to heal me it was Epsilon, my right arm felt better almost immediately, when the medic was done he said, "you are a lucky one trooper." I grabbed my DC-15 blaster rifle and started walking back to the previous rock covers while keeping the medic safe, as we got closer I turned once again almost being shot by another bolt but clearing the rocks just in time the whole squad that were behind the rock said "Be careful, lucky, you almost got yourself killed."

The battle seemed like it was in a deadlock for hours, we were all getting restless, waiting for our reinforcements "We've been waiting for three days and our reinforcements still haven't come" the 501st legion numbers have fallen below 5,000 and dwindling, our aim isn't as good as usual due to the restless nights, Me I stayed determined and felt lucky, the whole legion knew me as Lucky from this battle and onward, I was quite surprised I was lucky, each battle I helped the legion push forward, but each time we pushed the CIS pushed harder, it had been weeks since we got on the field, each day seemed more dangerous or was it just me but as the captain said "Experience outranks everything" and that's how we treated every situation.

Weeks after we had finally got reinforcements, the 212th legion, we treated each other as equals but soon I was known as lucky by every clone who fought alongside me and they were glad they did, I seemed to be the main part in pushing the legions forward, the one to take the most dangerous chance and survive.

I could tell ever since I was on Kamino I was different now I know why, after receiving reinforcements some of us could actually sleep over night I slept every third night, I would always try to push for some more time on the field but it's hard to disobey a direct order from a clone marshal commander and a captain.

It was hard to fall asleep knowing your team, your family, your brothers were dying by the hand of the enemy, hearing their screams, it gives you nightmare but in the end you get used to it, in the next few weeks we managed to push the CIS back and off this planet after Anakin, obi-wan and Yoda scared the strike leader count Dooku off the planet after the huge battle we celebrated, we rested, we fed ourselves and we tended to our wounds.

Meeting the jedi was the best thing this I could possibly imagine, but each night tormented me, I kept hearing the heavy footsteps of the CIS, blaster fire filling the air followed by screams of my brothers dying, we had never expected to experience that battle but it tormented me the most…
