Cheerful shouts were from a pub for the long live of the brand new gunnery sergeant.

"Liels paldies!" Vova said taking a breath. "You owe me twenty bucks!"

"I remember! I meant what are you doing in the shithole?" John said giving him twenty bucks. "Sorry about belt, сome with me, I'm just leaving with my company for Iraq, where I'll buy it for you at a gift shop."
