Meanwhile, lefyia comes up with two books in her hands one with a black cover while the other has a white cover along with that she brings a small wand

(A/N: if you guys have been to a lab then you have probably seen a pipette { the hardened glass one } imagine that except the end is connected to a crystal - kinda like how a lightsaber has the kyber crystal so basically the mana flows from the crystal to the pipe and comes out of the other end)

The magic core is situated at your end of the wand it is embedded in the conductor which has a small hollow tube in it that channels the magic at its tip]

Drake: ' hum I think I can reverse engineer and create something using this' riveria san is it possible to get mana cores as a whole

Riveria: yes, but those are usually very expensive, it's better to buy a magic wand or a staff

Drake: ' guess I will have to ask a few favours from Tsubaki san'

Drake: OK but can you tell me the normal price for that

Riveria: about a million valis for a good core, the ones on my staff are about three million each and there are about a dozen of them on it not to mention the amount of smithing it required.

Drake: oh

Riveria: well you should use the books they will determine what type of magic you use according to your element

{ few minutes of monologue}

Riveria: what magic did you get

Drake: well I think I have four spells

Chant - come darkness annihilate my enemy

None shall stand within my path - Drake star }

{ dark rain - (wide area) continuous barrage}

Chant - darkness falls from the sky killing anything that comes in its way - dark Rain}

{ light build - ( strengthening)

{ light blade - ( single strike)

Riveria: seems like your dark element has more chaotic spells we will train them later since the light spells are much safer for the beginning, try using { light build} and { light blade} since they don't require any chants

Drake nods and then starts to cover his entire body with mana

The crystal on the wand starts to glow in a white hue

Drake: 'seems like my body is strengthened, except for allowing me to form a shell of mana on my body this thing is basically useless since my behemoth shield can take care of most of the things that are thrown at me'

Riveria: how is it

Drake: it's alright I don't see myself using it much since my arm guard had the shield feature but well let me try something, ryuu san could you please come here

Ryuu came and stood in front of Drake

Drake pointed his wand on her and used the light shield

Ryuu's body was quickly enveloped in white light after it faded a little she was glowing with slightly but it didn't seem to go down

Drake: hum so it can also be used to strengthen allies

Riveria: well I can teach you some light-based spell but for dark ones you will have to search them on your own since nobody in orario has that element the last one was a lvl 9 from the Zeus famila

The crystal on Drake's wand became pitch black

A large black magic circle formed on top of the forest that had a diameter of 10 meters

The small needle-like projections formed on the end facing the forest and starting to fall on the ground with extreme speed

After a few minutes, the area which was under the magic circle was turned into a flat land

Lefyia and ryuu were currently sweating and Riveria had a serious expression on her face

Riveria: Drake you will not be using that or the other dark spell unless you have learnt how to control its output

Drake: I understand, unless I don't have to I won't be using it, well I have my swords which are my primary weapons the magic comes later

Riveria: it's good that you understand
