In the beginning, there were four suns, and four moons.

In a land unlike any other, an empire of stone stretched far and wide.

Raised on violence and taught to shed blood, its men struck terror in the heart of every warrior.

Their women were their most prized treasures.

Yet also, the cheapest.

Perhaps they evoked the wrath of heaven,

Four became two,

And now there were two suns and two moons.

The Pearl Sea to the north, the Barren Desert to the west, the Sha-ri-jin Forest to the east.

With winter and summer as the only seasons,

Their sight fell on the Blossom Valley to the South.
