A God's Spirit - [ Chapter - 67 ]
After giving their names, Ho-Seok recalled them all for now except for Mikasta and Tecu, since the rest of them of them stuck out like a sore thumb, he also left Clawdryn with Mikasta since it was currently just a sword and once after all of that, he recalled Pluto as well since he was a goblin.
Even though they were at the spirit realm, there might be some grudges to some of the spirits from those killed by goblins and such, so Ho-Seok didn't want to take that chance of fighting more spirits since he just wanted to leave the spirit realm now due to the fact that there was nothing else to get.
Now as they were heading back to the village, Ho-Seok then remembered about Olivia and her party, he decided to look for them before leaving since there might be some problems if he just leaves them be for so long in the spirit realm especially when they know close to nothing in there.
While Ho-Seok looked around the village using his true sight to search for Olivia and her party, they weren't anywhere near the village, so he was confused and was wondering if they decided to even leave the village, so he then flew up as he looked around once again as loads of more panels popped up.
The amount of panels bugged him, but he ignored the bunch but as he was reading through them, after a bit of searching he noticed they were quite far away, and so he recalled all his summons and just flew to the location at full speed using his molten electricity and Olivia's erruption to propel himself.
As he got above the location, he noticed loads of spirits near their location and went closer to take a look and as he did this, he noticed that they were fighting the spirits again but this time, the spirits had the same black spores and spots that he fought before and was sure something was up.
So then he told Calin to transform into the daggers and as he did this, he then noticed as he was rushing towards the spirits that they had an extra status to them, "Corrupted" so Ho-Seok was a bit curious about it but decided to continue attacking as he summoned both Heca, Zurich, Mikasta and Tecu.
However as Ho-Seok and the rest of them attack the corrupted spirits, he then noticed that the spirits were relatively weak, weaker than the ones that they fought before so Ho-Seok was kind of confused as to why Olivia and her party were struggling with them and so he took a closer look at their stats.
Which as he looked closer, their stats weren't even at half of the level that Ho-Seok was, well he does have multiple panels boosting him but he was wondering how did they reach the floor with that level of strength since it definitely wasn't enough to reach the floor or even the floor before this one.
This made him a bit curious and asked, "How did you guys get on this floor with only that much gear and your current stats?", he said with a bit of force as he was still fighting against the spirits but it was more like a blood bath as he just needed one swipe against the spirits and they disappeared.
During the fight, Olivia then said with a bit of fear in her voice as she stuttered saying, "We were brought by our guild to help them go to the next floor." as she said this, Ho-Seok got a bit angry as he started moving faster but he hid it from all of them, and him getting angry wasn't at them.
It was because of how he remembered meeting Olivia was after, she almost lost everything for being a meat shield for her guild so that they can go to the next floor, so Ho-Seok asked sternly, "Is your Guild "Is your guild the Blossoming Flower?" they were all relatively surprised as he said this.
But the rogue answered, "Yeah." as he scratched his head as he now stood up more properly then continued talking saying, "I'm Ray and a rogue, the tank is Bean and our mage is Olivia, what about you and your friends?.", as Ho-Seok heard the tanks name was bean he was a bit surprised since the name was a bit familiar.
However he first replied to them and said, "I'm Ho-Seok, as you can see from my name, I'm Korean unlike you guys, and my friends over there are Zurich, the rest of them are actually my undead summons, I'm a necromancer with the sub class of a rogue." he said as he finished off the last spirit.
Ho-Seok decided to not say that Zurich was his summoned since, currently he looked like any normal human being which would definitely make them cautious of him or even scare them, but for now he said, "I'll show you back to the original realm, what are you guys doing out this far when you don't even know this place?".
Ray then replied as he sighed, "Well we were given a quest by the Tower from the spirits in the village to help them stop the corruption." as he said that he, Ho-Seok was a bit confused as to why he didn't get a quest but then realized he hadn't even talked to any the spirits after arriving there.
Other than the one he had to apologize to cause of them trying to fight it cause it was a monster spirit, so he then said "I'll help you complete the mission once I get the quest, I'm curious to see it so stay here if you want to continue with it or come back with me to the village if you want to return.".
After he said that, none of them moved and so he smiled as he chuckled a bit saying, "Zurich, watch over them.", he said as he recalled the rest of them and started flying back to the village as he started talking to all of the villagers and such, he did this for a while as he talked to each of them he was able to gather more information.
With his ability, he could even weed out the ones who just plained out lied or if what they were saying was wrong or not, and as he did, he realized that a God died on the floor he was on since only the ones who died on this floor Becomes a spirit in this realm, and the reason he knew this was special.
It was because the God that was trapped here actually escaped in his previous life, it was able to take a human's body that suited him and brought it out of the spirit realm however there was a Paladin that was blessed by many holy gods at once which was extremely extraordinary and his name was "Bean".
