Another universe

He decided to check what was in his contact menu, the screen changed again.

He was sure that the legendary demon god hadn't chosen this name to register so he didn't try to find him that way.

And just when he was going to check his last interface which was 'map' he sensed a disturbance in the spiritual energy not far from here.

A teleportation portal ? It couldn't be a transdimensional portal, but he didn't recognize this energy signature, it was the first time he had experienced this kind of disturbance, strange he thought.

Excalibur who was still in his hand began to fidget, he had introduced his warrior spirit inside this sword, it was his very first creation when he was only 3 years old.

When he had awakened his warrior spirit at the age of 3 to protect his little brother, he had acquired specific knowledge.

And after that he had found himself trapped in his body of a 3 year old child while his spirit was perfectly awake and it had been very annoying.

His little brother who had awakened his demon god spirit even earlier than him was also trapped in his baby body.

After the night he had awakened his warrior spirit, a telepathic bond had been created between them and together they had found a way to accelerate their growth until they could both remain in their adult bodies.

At that time they were at war and he had needed a weapon that could fight on its own, and have his own intelligence.

He had therefore made Excalibur and had introduced 100% of his warrior spirit inside it, he had also endowed it with the power to absorb the energy of his opponents and his sword was also able to use the five basic elements without his intervention.

But after some times he realized that giving a weapon too much intelligence wasn't the best solution because it always acted like a spoiled child and sometimes just did what it wanted to do.

So he had created Nemesis and Nemesis had only 10% of his warrior spirit, he had created it the same way but in a very different metal that he had found on a lower plane of existence.

This metal was called Litium and it was the strongest and sharpest metal ever to be found, he had also taken the  time to add the changing shape to this weapon.

Nemesis was not only a sword, same if it was it's favorite weapon, it could change shape into whatever weapon he wanted.

He had created it more to become Excalibur's companion than out of need for a weapon.

And it had worked, since he had created Nemesis, Excalibur had become much more obedient and now it had matured and it had become more effective than a general on a battlefield.

And in this kind of situation he was happy to have 2 wonderful and powerful weapons with him.

Considering his reaction, whatever would come out of this portal must have been unfriendly, he smiled it was even better that way because he needed answers.

It was then that he felt them arrived, 1, 2, 3,…, 8. Only 8, they were fighters, all of level 12 and the weaker one was of grade 2, not bad considering that the maximum level for a fighter was level 12 grade 7.

Only, this principles had never applied to him and even his Mama Naya who was the golden dragon and who had long since reached level 12 grade 7 could do nothing against him.

Gabin all the same decided to take Nemesis out and waited for them patiently, just before they arrived he has preferred to warn his swords : "My darlings, don't kill them all until I got the information I want on my legendary demon god."

His swords now floating around him waved to let him know that they had understood.

When the fighters approached him they immediately surrounded him with their brandished weapons, at least their intention was evident.

The one who had the highest level and who was grade 6, looked at him with a condescending and superior air.

Well, at least one thing was certain is that these men had never set foot in their universe otherwise he wouldn't dare to look at him that way.

To be able to reach this kind of level one had to necessarily be part of the worlds of the intermediate or higher plane of existence, and all who lived in these worlds knew him or at least could recognize him easily.

Gabin was 1m90 he was tall and muscular and had the kind of face that always put everyone at ease, he was handsome and what he liked the most was teasing and provoking people, that character undoubtedly came from his mother, the legendary mage.

But what made him recognizable to everyone was his short black hair which always looked disheveled and with its tips were of an electric blue color.

It wasn't a dye it was his natural color, no matter how he cut his hair, it always grew back the same way.

He also had gray eyes mixed with green which also turned electric blue when he was pissed off or whenever he needed to concentrate a lot of his energy.

This man said to him : "Explorer, did you come from this universe by any chance ?"

Gabin remained stoic but inside he was gloating, that sentence alone meant that these men were from another universe as he had suspected it, he answered honestly : "I'm the son of the legendary Mage and the golden dragon and I come from this universe."

Gabin could clearly see the greed in this man's gaze and then he yelled an order to another soldier : "Mark, go immediately to warn His Majesty, we have finally found one."

Gabin planted Excalibur in the ground and before this Mark could even move, a huge shield that looked like a silver dome with blue reflections on it as well as lightning bolts of the same color crackling all around it appeared and surrounded them.

Gabin then clicked his tongue and he pulled Excalibur off the ground, he said to them : "Come on gentlemen who told you that you could go, we were just starting to get to know each other, this is very rude of you."

The man who had never seen this kind of shield before said to the one called Mark : "What are you waiting for to break this shield. Destroy it, and go warn our king."

He turned back to warn this explorer to not mess with the wrong person but then he couldn't help to cringed back.
