Alex grabs the data that he got from Astarte when he was doing her daily maintenance, Astarte has what can be called a 'soul' which is just pure mana, to get pure mama, you'll just need to compress an extremely dense mana into a size of a marble and program it to as you see fit then you have what they call a 'soul' but as I call it soul stone.

The moment the soul stone enters a body or just an object, the soul stone will then spread to the whole body or object and possess making the body or object to gain a functional soul

Of course, Alex has no idea how this works as he has no in-depth knowledge about souls.

While Alex has basic knowledge of how to create a functional soul stone, he'll just have to figure it out while programming the soul stone and adding its personality.

"Hmm, I guess that should work?" Alex put the soul stone inside the pistol he created for the sake of being a prototype, it's made of the same metal as Sayaka's lustrous scale as it is a very good mana conductor.

Alex saw the gun shine brightly but Alex just narrowed his eyes.

"That easy?-"

*BOOM*

"... I guess not" Alex shook his head as he tried to stand up but couldn't as he looked at his missing arm and leg so he just decided to lay down for a bit while his missing body parts regenerated.

"I need to create a room where I don't mind my projects exploding like this..." Alex said as he looked at the destruction that the soul stone created.

"Making the PRD first try was a fucking miracle on its own..." Alex started to sweat on what would have been the result when the prototype PRD exploded when his lab was clearly lacking with runes at that time.

After Alex was done regenerating he slowly got up and created clothes made out of mana as he began cleaning his lab as it was a mess that the explosion caused.

While he was cleaning he was thinking about why the soul stone exploded.

Alex guessed maybe he programmed it wrong causing the soul stone to become unstable without him noticing which is a feat on its own.

As Alex was done tidying up his lab, Alex went to the corner of his lab and created a room using runes that could survive a nuke explosion he had no idea how strong the next explosion would be so it better be safe than sorry.

The room is on the small side but it has everything Alex needed.

Alex slowly and steadily let his mana run wild and started to compress the mana he was emitting until it was compressed to the size of a marble.

Alex then sent his mana inside the soul stone he just created and started to program the soul stone.

It took Alex just 10 minutes to get the programming done so he started adding its personality, he just chose its personality to be loyal solely to him.

Alex let his relic eater to develop its other personalities.

He also programs the soul stone to make a contract to its wielder to fully utilize its power.

It means Alex can fully use the relic eater to its full power anytime he wants without forming a contract with the relic eater as its loyalty is solely to him.

As Alex thought everything was in order, Alex made the soul stone split in half without really cutting it, Alex then immediately grabbed the twin pistols in his storage ring that he created in the past few days.

Alex gently put both half's soul stones into the twin pistol causing it to emit a blinding light, Alex then grabbed a bottle of his blood inside his storage ring and gave a drop to the twin pistols causing the blinding light to turn color red which made Alex narrow his eyes and hope that the twin pistols, soul stone that was split in half and his blood were compatible.

Soon the blinding light slowly faded and the twin pistols started to reshape into twin large pistols.

Seeing this Alex can't help but grin as his project Relic Eater is a success.

"Let's test this then" Alex went towards his lab's reinforced shooting range where Alex tried different weapons of mass destruction.

Alex then conjured a ball of mana and placed it in the middle of the room.

"... Did I just miss?" Alex went towards the ball of mana he conjured earlier, aimed the twin gun at the ball of mana, and pulled the trigger at point-blank range.

The moment the bullet of his relic eater hits the ball of mana it suddenly and forcefully turns back to its original form which causes Alex to smile.

"Now let's try that feature I've added" Alex gripped the twin gun causing it to glow red, a prick Alex felt on his palm caused him to smile as his blood started to fill up the relic eater.

Seeing that the relic eater was done getting what it needed Alex grinned.

"Time for witch hunt" As soon as Alex said those phrases, he was suddenly engulfed with red blinding light but then.

*BOOM*

Alex checked himself for damage and found nothing except for his nowhere to be found hands.

He looked at the relic eater which was on the floor and inspected it, to his surprise the relic eater was still intact after that explosion.

Seeing this Alex can't help but smile as he doesn't have to start all over again.

Soon after Alex hands done regenerating he inspected the relic eater and found out the source of the problem.

"I'm so stupid... I forgot to jump-start the relic eater causing it to overheat and explode... Also, another problem was even if I program the soul stone, it doesn't automatically make the soul stone sentience" Alex can't help but facepalm from his stupidity.

After Alex jumped to start the relic eater, Alex closed his eyes as he sent his consciousness inside the relic eater.

There Alex found himself inside a dark room devoid of light, as soon as he looked behind him he saw the core of the 'soul' seeing this couldn't help but feel giddy and went closer to it.

Alex then sent his life force towards the core causing it to emit a faint light, Alex noticed this and just went full power causing the core to envelope into a shining bright light and causing Alex to squint his eyes as he saw the core start to transform into a small girl with red long hair, her notable feature is her canine sticking out.

As soon as the light faded the girl's eyelids opened slowly revealing a crimson colored eyes.

The moment the girl's eyes landed on Alex her eyes widened causing her to kneel down.

"Thank you for giving me life master" The girl said, causing Alex's mind to blank out.

'Why a loli...' Alex thought.
