Alex can be seen walking in the intense heat of the sun.
"This shitty sun, I'm gonna turn into ash... Remind me later to blow up the sun Sayaka" Sayaka who was walking beside him just looked at him as if he were an idiot.
"Please don't do that Alex, can't you just make something using your runes? Aren't you good at that?" Alex suddenly gains inspiration.
"Yeah, I guess I can do that" Alex then placed a rune on his clothes that can block the UV radiation directly hitting his skin, and Alex's skin started to look better.
"There, done, let's hurry up so we can finish this, I still need to improve your Lustrous Scale" Alex and Sayaka hurried up towards the supermarket, last night, Alex was interested in researching Sayaka's weapon, but she wouldn't hand it off just got the sake of researching.
So he said to her that he would 'improve' her weapon, to disguise his intentions, but she seemed to notice it but still handed her weapon anyway.
"Just don't break it... Since I have to send it back to the organization if it were to be broken, and I don't want to remain defenseless" Sayaka said but Alex looked at her as if he was saying 'are you serious'
Sayaka noticed his gaze.
"Is there something on my face?" Sayaka asked innocently.
"No, it's just, I love how innocent you said 'I don't want to remain defenseless' when you easily beat my ass in close-quarter combat like I was supposed to have a superior physique! And still lost!" Alex scratches his head in frustration.

A few days ago, Alex asked Sayaka if she could teach him close-quarter combat, she of course being his maid accepted without issue.
As Sayaka was teaching Alex the basics of close-quarter combat, couldn't wait and just wanted to move to the main part.
Which resulted in Alex getting destroyed.
Sayaka is a monster when it comes to close-quarter combat with the Lion King organization through her many techniques that can easily destroy a demon without using the demon's power.
Of course, it's another thing if Alex used his powers, then Sayaka would stand no chance, it's the reason why he managed to convince (forced) Sayaka to be his maid/observer.

After paying the cashier, Alex and Sayaka walked outside with the groceries in hand and went to an alleyway to put the groceries in their storage rings.
While Alex can use his storage rings in public, Sayaka suggested that he won't, because it will only attract unnecessary attention.
But Alex has a plan so that he can use his storage rings in public, he plans to create a company that sells these storage rings.
The prices will depend on how big the space is inside, Alex has already perfected his storage rings, so why not sell them, he can use storage rings in public, plus he can have money so his parents can live in luxury.
As for Alex, he does not need money, but extra money could not hurt anyone.

"We're home!" Alex and Sayaka announced themselves as they entered their house
Astarte greeted them and offered to take the groceries from their hand.
"It's fine Astarte," Alex said as she returned to help his mother.
"Welcome back you two, just put the groceries there" Alex's mother pointed towards the countertop then returned to cooking lunch while Astarte assisted her.
"Where's dad?" Alex asked his mother while Sayaka decided to help Anna (Alex's mother's name)
"He said there's something important he needs to do at work," his mother said.
"I see, also do you need help?" His mother just shook her head and gestured for him to go away like a dog.
"I'll be at the attic, just call me if lunch is ready" Alex chuckled at his mother's antics.

As Alex tinkering with Sayaka's lustrous scale he notices something shocking.
"What the? What the fuck is this?! This is fucking cool! A sword that can be transformed into a bow?! So that's why the sword has a strange design!" He then pressed the button then the Lustrous scale suddenly turned into a bow with its strings made out of mana.
Alex pressed the button again which returned to the sword form.
"That's cool, now let's see your insides" Alex slowly disassembled the lustrous scale, and what he found out inside was shocking.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS UGLY SHIT!" What Alex found inside the lustrous scale was a bunch of kanji letters.
"Now I know why I can't find the runes that I'm familiar with on the internet, this is just madness" Alex inspects the kanji letters.
"I also quite understand why they used kanji to use it into their makeshift primitive runes that I'm used to, I have no idea what to call this... This thing, calling it rune is an insult to the runes I use" Alex frowned.
"Damn, they also have their own PRD, but the output is not that great... Compared to my PRD, well, time to upgrade this... This outdated junk?"
"Let's just call this Kanji Runes while I call my runes Primordial Runes to avoid confusion"
"Since Sayaka's lustrous scale has its primitive magical generator, I'm just going to replace it with my PRD, but I have to resize it so it can fit on the lustrous scale" Then Alex started to remove the kanji runes.

"There, all done, all its arsenal has been upgraded, from combat to curse/hex, I've also added exploding arrows for destructiveness" Alex opened the case revealing the newly improved lustrous scale to Sayaka.
"Let's go and try it" Alex closed the case summoned his Yamato and opened a portal towards the island where Alex tested Yamato.

"Here, test it" Alex opened the case as soon as Sayaka grabbed she couldn't lift it then she glared at Alex who was laughing.
"You think it's funny! Why can't I lift it?! Is there something I need to do or press?!" Sakaya frowned as she stomped her feet.
"Hmm, an interesting theory, but I have a simple one, you are not worthy, Pfft, hahaha I always wanted to say that" Alex laughed, causing Sayaka to pout at him.
"It needs your blood" Sayaka tilted her head confused.
"Just drop your blood on the handle" Sayaka grabbed a needle on her thighs that also worked as an arrow for her old lustrous scale then pricked her index finger and dropped blood on the handle causing the dark gray metal color to shift into a silver metal color.
As soon as Sayaka lifted her newly upgraded weapon her eyes widened then turned towards Alex.
"It's super light!" Alex nodded to her and pointed towards a boulder, noticing Alex's intentions, Sayaka walked towards the boulder and did a casual vertical swing causing the boulder to be cut smoothly.
"It's super sharp, right? Well, it's because it's vibrating at ultrasonic speed, now Imagine it making it dull and then hitting the boulder again" Sayaka blinked many times but did what Alex said, as soon as the sword hit the boulder, the boulder turned into a powder.
"W-What happened?!" Sayaka looked at Alex for answers.
"It's gravity, when you use the blunt sword mode, it has the power of gravity of course you can control how strong the gravity is, it's perfect for incapacitating a target" Sayaka slowly nodded.
"Now try its bow form, I'm sure you'll love it" Sayaka pressed the button on the sword which turned into a bow, she then grabbed a needle in her thighs which was stopped by Alex.
"Just draw the bow without the arrow," Alex said and just smiled mysteriously, Sayaka felt it was wrong since she always used a needle as an arrow but did it anyway, as soon as Sayaka drew the bow an arrow mana started to form.
"WHAT WAS THAT?!" Alex just smirked at her reaction, she fully drew the bow and let it go.
As soon as the arrow hit the ground an explosion happened.
"Alex! You turned my weapon into a nuke!" But Alex just laughed.
"It is what it is, the bow has 3 modes, Explosive arrows, Hex arrows, and normal arrows" Alex explained to Sayaka.

After Sayaka was done testing her newly upgraded weapon, Alex instructed her to think of her weapon shrinking.
As soon as she did that, her weapon shrunk to the size of a keychain, causing a huge smile on Sayaka's face.
She played for a bit on her lustrous scale as she constantly changed the size of her weapon.
They then noticed what was getting darker so Alex opened a portal toward their home.
