1 The beginning of the end

Zay stood in the vast room a glass of wine in her hand and facing the calm city.Rain poured but she heard none of it .Here she was ,a business tycoon, multimillionaire,a powerful woman per say,but her lover was in the hands of another and she was far from home .She felt alien,she always had.

Thunder struck pulling her out of her thoughts,she smirked,gulped down the wine ,picked her coat and car keys and in no time she was speeding away from the building.

It was a Saturday afternoon, Antoine sat with his grandfather ,Old Man Lou,deep in conversation

"So you left her after cheating?"Lou asked amused by his grandson's audacity

"Mhh, stop bothering me about it old man," Antoine rolled his eyes tired of this old man's runts

"You crazy fool that wasn't part of the agreement,you were supposed to marry Zay not kiss and leave her" Lou was now frantically pointing his crane at Antoine,who having had enough and stood up to leave

"Tsk I'll carry on with the plan in a different way,so please stop talking and start preparing to meet the actual love of my life pops" he smirked wickedly as he took graceful strides towards the door and just as he was opening the door he heard the old man again

"Sai is Zay's best friend son ,don't think even for a second that Zay will let any of you scathe her" the look in his eyes was knowing and wise, if Antoine didn't know any better he'd be shaking in his boots at that premonition,but Antoine wasn't shaken after all,he had gotten his game from this wicked man of a grandfather, so he scoffed and gave Lou a side eye,

" I fooled her once ,twice and oh boy ,shame on me for I'm about to do it thrice pops," he opened the door and left without another word.
