Chapter 023- Red Player's Guild Appears!

After sorting out all the positions in the guild, Rifat vigorously started to recruit more members in the guild. Because of Rifat's reputation among the normal players, it was not hard for him to attract others to the guild.

At the end of the week of this announcement of recruitment, the guild was already filled with more than one quarter of the population of the players that joined the SAO game and it is still growing.

Because Rifat didn't set any kind of minimum requirement for joining the guild, many of the players that joined were weak. But putting that aside, Rifat was happy that he managed to get almost all of the beta testers join the guild.

Because Rifat was the only one who was vocal about their team being accepting of beta testers along with Kibaou pushing the agenda of crusading against them, it was no brainer for those beta testers to join the guild created by Rifat in order to get some backings.

Of course, there were few beta testers that still chose to play solo and refused to join any guild but it is none of Rifat's concern as long as they chose not to go against him.

"Rifat sama, wouldn't it create a problem for us if we take this many normal players in our guild?" Rosalia said as she was arranging the information of the players that joined the guild recently.

"Don't worry about that. I don't plan to just let them sit and get the benefits from the guild without putting any kind of work. If they really don't contribute to the guild directly through battle or indirectly through some auxiliary help, I will kick them out."

"What about the resources then? Will we able able to keep up with the demands of the guild members?"

"For the resources, I plan to open up a point system. As long you complete the missions given by the guild, you will get points added to your guild badge and using those point you can ask the guild for resources. That way, we won't have to use our resources on useless players."

"We will also have to use the combat members of our guild to snatch as much as farming spots as possible in order to keep the resources sufficient all the time. Lastly, I will also add a rule that will stipulate that if some member of the guild doesn't complete any mission from the guild for two consecutive months, then they will be directly kicked out." Rifat told his plan to Rosalia as she hastily took a note of all the plans stated by Rifat just now.

"By the way, what about that Kibaou guy? I recently got some news that he has been planning to do something against our guild. Is that true?" Rifat asked.

"Yes, we did hear some rumors about him wanting to clash head on with our guild. So, I asked sister Argo to verify those rumors. From her reports, it seems he really does have ill intention toward our guild. There are even some players that recently joined the guild informed us that some of them have been threatened by them to leave the guild the if they don't want to die." Rosalia replied.

Rifat sneered after hearing that. He said, "I never imagined someone could be this stupid. I was thinking of ignoring him but it seems he is really courting death. How long it will take to fully complete the investigation about Kiabou and his gang?"

"Sister Argo said that it would take at least one or two more week to give a full report about them."

"Let's wait then. After getting the report, I will take action against him. Since he doesn't want to live anymore, let him die. Tell all the elite members of our guild to be ready for a mission." Rifat said before going back to his daily paperwork.

---Two weeks Later---

"So, Argo, tell us in details what you have managed to find about Kibaou and his gangs." Rifat already gathered all of the core members of the guild in a conference room as he asked Argo that question.

Argo stood up from her seat as she took some papers in her hand and started to say, "From our investigation, it is fully confirmed that he will surely take action against our guild. For that, he has already started to gather people that are dissatisfied with us. He is also spreading bad rumors about the guild in a more large scale than before. He is not even trying to hide the fact this time that he is behind those rumors."

"Even thought there were some smart people who are clear headed and noticed that this might be a conspiracy, most of the people in this worlds are sheep. So, with some sweet talking, he easily managed to gather a large number of players under him. Even though there is a huge gap between the players of our guild and them, if it keeps going like this, he might manage to gather large enough players to contest against us."

"Besides, there is one more situation I found that was very alarming. Kibaou somehow managed to get in touch with some red players guild and reached a cooperation with them. From what I managed to learn, Kibaou plans to seduce our players into dangerous territories and let them becomes victims to those recently created red players guild."

"Even though these red player guilds are very small in manpower, they are used to killing which will bring a heavy disadvantage to us. Since none of us have ever even had the idea of killing another human being, in a life and death situation we might fall into a disadvantageous situation against them."

As Argo finished giving her reports, many of the players in the conference room fell into a depressive state. It has just been a few months since they got stuck in this death game, now they have to face another death threat from their fellow players who were supposed to help them clear this game.

Rifat also noticed the atmosphere around the conference room, so he choose to spoke in a calm manner in order to not let them fall into further despair, "I can see from some of your faces that you guys are really afraid this time. But I just want to ask you one thing. The threat that we are facing right now, is it any difference from the threat that we faced from Akihiko Kayaba at the beginning of this death game?"

Rifat didn't wait for their reply as he goes on to say, "From the moment we have been trapped into this death game, we have already exposed ourselves to the extreme dangers possible. But even with so much danger, we managed to overcome it."

"Yes, there were some difficulty along the way but no one can deny all the achievement that we have managed to get for the past few months. And do you know the reason behind this? It is courage. Yes, it is courage that brought all of you together to fight and clear this death game unlike some cowards who are still hiding in the first floor hoping for some miracle to happen."

"Now do you guys really want to become like them just because some lunatic groups came out trying to kill us? Every one of you that are sitting here right now are personally chosen by me only because of one reason and that is I saw the fighting spirit in all of your eyes. I really hope that you will not let that fighting spirit disappear just because of some fear which you guys can easily overcome as long as you put your mind to it. I firmly believe you guys are not such weak minded people."

Everyone was attentively listening to the speech. After that small talk, everyone came out of their gloomy state one by one. Even though there were still some concerns in their minds but they chose to fight it instead of letting it consume them and making them a coward.

Rifat smiled seeing the change of atmosphere in the conference room as he decided to discuss of how to deal with Kibaou and his gang.
