16 Chapter 016- Strategy for the boss fight!

A month later-

Rifat and his party has been doing well for the past few weeks. Because of the constant grinding they have been doing, all of them managed raise in level very quickly and now can be considered the top players of this game. Even some beta testers were left behind by them in terms of level.

During this period of time, Rifat also managed to attract many players to join their team as a result of him and his team members helping others with information or saving them from some dire situations. Because of this, the total number of Rifat's party has now been increased to 5, each consisting of 12 players.

Even though most of the players that Rifat managed to gather later on are mostly newbies who are playing the game for the first time and they joined Rifat because of the help that he could provide, Rifat isn't unhappy about this at all.

'Even though they are leeching off of me right now, I am not loosing out either because by the time I create the guild, they will have a sense of belonging with us and become more obedient.' Because of the rewards that he got from the system, Rifat has now truly became a leader with great charm who can make others follow him willingly. With his current eloquence in speech, he can easily captivate the hearts of the people that are listening to him.

'As for having elite players, there is no hurry. By the time I create the guild, the prejudice against the beta testers should increase a lot. Then I can just throw some olive branches to them and they will voluntarily come to join.'

From what Argo told him, Kibaou has already started to spread bad rumors about the beta testers among the normal players. Knowing this, Rifat did nothing to stop it instead he asked Argo to help him with those rumors since it will be easier to let them join the guild that way.

"Klein, did you really find the bosses room?" Unlike the original where it took three months to find the boss room, this time it was much earlier. The main reason for this is the aggressive farming of all the members of Rifat's group.

[A/N: When I mention Rifat's group, I am talking about all the members(for now 60). But when I am talking about Rifat's party, it only includes the original 12 members. After the guild is created, it will become easier to address them.]

"Yes, I did. Should I publicize it to others?" Klein asked.

"No, there is no need. You should know that the players have started to become divided because of some rumors. If we told them about the boss, the chances of us getting into conflict with others will be very high considering some of us are already well known beta testers."

"Also, many of them are even unwilling to fight the normal monsters because of their fear. So, I plan to kill the boss with only our team. Anyway, we have 60 members now and with some little tactics, it should be easy to defeat the boss with our current levels." Rifat said.

Besides being targeted by others, there other two main reason for Rifat to make this decision of not letting others know about the boss. First one is that he doesn't want to share the spoils of the boss with others who has nothing to do with him.

Considering the fact that Kirito used the props that he got from the first floor boss even in very late periods of the game, the prop should be a high quality one. One beta tester even lost his life trying to get the last hit in order to get the reward.

Even besides that particular prop, the xp and the other rewards that can be gotten by defeating the floor boss will naturally be reduced the more people joins the raid. Since Rifat already has the confidence to defeat the floor boss with only his team, he doesn't think it is is necessary to give other strangers a free ride and let them enjoy the benefits of defeating a floor boss.

The second reason is to widen the gap between the players that are under him and the players that are not under him. Sooner or later, there is bound be other guilds who will compete with him for resources. Not to mention, there is some psychos present in the game who is going to become red players.

So, Rifat is adamant on circulating all the resources in this game including the floor bosses only among his friends and subordinate. By doing this, it will leave other elite or normal players no other choice but to join his guild if they want to enjoy the resources as with the increase of level gap, it will be impossible for any other players or guild to snatch the resources from Rifat's hand if he doesn't give it away willingly.

Of course, some players might get very upset about this situation and might even start a crusade against him. But as long as he can remain at the top level and handle the situation well, the rewards that he will be get are much more than the risk.

'The only worry I have now is to keep zero causality in our first boss fight. If someone dies, it is going to demoralize the whole group. All the motivational speeches that I have been giving them for the past month will all go in vain.'

'But as long as we manage to defeat the boss without causing any death of our members, it will give them a huge confidence boost as well as the drive to level up more. Not to mention, the amount of reputation that I will be getting among the other players will be unimaginable.'

Rifat slowly came out of thoughts as he looked at the players present in front of him and said,

"As you already know I and some of my friends used to be in the beta test. So, we already have all the information about the boss that we will be facing. Even though we can't take anything for certainty because Akihiko might change some of the boss's features from the beta, we can only make plausible attack plan based on the information that we have."

"Since we have already been accustomed to the twelve person party for the past few weeks, I will not be breaking them up and leave it as it is. The five teams will be divided into A to E."

"Team A which is me and and my party will be responsible for dealing high mobility assaults and doing damages to the boss. Team B which is Klein's party, they will responsible for tanking the boss. Team C will look after both of us and switch with the players of our teams if any of the team members are exhausted or their health bar has been dropped into the red zone."

"As for the last two teams, your responsibility is to take care of the minions of the boss and don't let them hinder us. Is everyone clear?"

"""Yes"""

Seeing that everyone understood his instructions, Rifat looked at them and said, "We will be attacking the boss room two days later. So, for these two days take your times off from hunting monsters and let you body and spirit relax for a while. We can't let any mistake happen in the boss fight. You must remember that our life is on the line here and any mistake can lead to death. So, make sure you can give your 100% when dealing with the boss."

After Rifat send them away, he took all females acquainted with him as they wandered around the town in the first floor. Rifat plans to spend these two days with them and strengthen the bonds.
