Chapter 10 Discussion

(Third person pov)

Seele smiled gently at Aron as she rested her head on his shoulder, and the two of them watched the bubble universe where Aron's image was within it.

Aron appeared somewhat puzzled as he observed a scene where he and his stepsister got married, a scenario that would have occurred if he hadn't been transported to the Cocolia orphanage for unknown reasons.

Shiina Mahiru – she was his stepsister, the daughter of his stepfather. Aron had only come to know of her existence when his stepfather confessed about Mahiru. Apparently, his stepfather had paid little attention to her, leaving her in the care of their maid while he was in Japan.

Naturally, Aron's mother was furious, to the point of dragging his father back to Japan with her. She had sacrificed a great deal to care for her son. She had become pregnant at the age of 18, and her husband had tragically died while on his way home, leaving her a widow at a young age.

Despite the hardships, she had taken on various jobs, starting as a gas station worker, then working at a restaurant, and more, until she had built her own successful business that even extended to other countries. Now, she had chosen to seek her own happiness by marrying the person she loved, only to discover that she had abandoned her own daughter. She confessed everything out of guilt for the girl, and it was only natural for her to be angry.

"I would love to meet your mother," Seele muttered as she gazed at the beautiful woman who appeared much younger than her 39 years. "She's strong."

"I know, that's why I idolize her," Aron replied, his eyes fixed on his mom. "I already miss her," he added, while Seele looked at him with an affectionate gaze.

"Introduce me to her, and then we can go back to Bronya-Onee-Chan later," Seele suggested, understanding that he needed to see his mother. "By the way, do you have romantic feelings for your stepsister? I won't get angry, just be honest," she continued, offering him a sweet smile. However, Aron couldn't help but sweat a little.

He scratched the top of his head, sighed, and then responded, "Honestly, I don't know. But I do know that I'd be happy to date her. Mom and her dad were always busy, and we chose to lean on each other, which is why our bond is stronger than anyone else's around me."

Aron and Seele continued to watch the scenes unfold in the bubble universe, their conversation hanging in the air. Aron's thoughts were a mix of nostalgia and longing for his mother, and the complexity of his feelings for his stepsister.

As the images played on, Aron finally turned his attention back to Seele. "I promise I'll introduce you to my mother when we return," he assured her. "I know she'd be thrilled to meet you."

Seele smiled warmly at his words, her affection for him evident. "I look forward to it, Aron-Nii," she replied softly, her voice filled with warmth and understanding.

Aron hugged Seele tightly, and she returned the embrace with a warm smile, feeling his contentment wash over her. "I'm going to introduce you to Mahiru. I hope you two get along," Aron said with a hopeful look in his eyes.

He continued, his tone sincere, "She's like a broken person. Despite her beauty, all she's ever wanted is to be loved. And as the person who has always been by her side, I know it's my duty to give her that love."

Aron's confession hung in the air, and Seele took a moment to process his words. She could feel the sincerity in his voice and his commitment to Mahiru. But there was something more he wanted to say.

"But the thing is," Aron continued, "I've fallen for you, Bronya, and her."

Seele couldn't help but feel a mixture of emotions at his admission. She had known that Aron's heart was divided among them, but hearing him say it so openly stirred something inside her.

"I doubt you would accept me having a relationship with other girls, so I'll try to refrain from interacting with them too much to avoid making you jealous," he said, trying to reassure her. Seele appreciated his consideration and was happy that he was willing to choose her over the others.

However, instead of accepting his words, Seele shook her head in refusal. "Nii, I don't like the feeling of making others cry because of me. I'm willing to let you have many lovers, just as long as you promise that you'll love me too."

Seele's determination to ensure everyone's happiness, including Aron's, shone through her words. Her other self, who had been silently observing, couldn't help but protest. "Seele! This is your chance to have him all to yourself!" But Seele remained resolute, shaking her head at her other self's urging.

"You two are really alike," her other self grumbled before vanishing, leaving Seele and Aron alone.
