It looks like Ramiel.

I never completed watching Evangelion, but seen enough Genshin Impact conspiracy theorists on YouTube and picked up some information there. It was no secret that the game developers took inspiration from Ramiel, the antagonist in Evangelion anime when designing the Elemental Hypostasis.

And now, this being which has a similar appearance like that angel is floating in front of me. Yeah, let's call him Ramiel.

Fortunately, this angel from anime wouldn't cause destruction on Earth or something. After all, in this blank space without an ounce of matter or light ..., I'm definitely not on Earth anymore. Did I mention that I'm already dead?

Well, it sounds strange but ..., yeah, I'm dead. Die because there's an accident in the place where I worked.

I worked part-time on a construction job. and suddenly the construction pulley went out of balance and the rebar that was transported up fell down to the ground. It shouldn't have landed on me, but I saw it was about to hit the foreman's daughter who played with her phone nearby. I throw the cement bag from my shoulder and ran as fast as I can to save the little girl. I managed to catch her and then pull her out of the area.

And then ..., I felt like something is piercing through my body. The pain of having a foreign object penetrating me is so weird, and I tell you, it was so damn painful. I puked out blood from my mouth before a rebar pierced my head. I didn't even know if that little kid survived, but at least I died while I'm trying to save her.

Enough of the circumstance behind my death, now I'm alone in this dark world as a soul. I got the evil angel as a company. Strange though, to even think a floating octahedron platonic solid to be sentient. Oh, what am I saying, I'm a floating formless soul myself.

<Do you regret dying?>

Bro Ramiel, is that question for me? Oh well, if you suddenly asked a difficult question like that then I'm confused to answer it. I haven't prepared an answer.

Hmmm ...., a part of me was thinking, I just want to end it all and leave the world. However, I still have a lingering regret yes. Like oh, I haven't finished watching my favorite anime series, getting a decent job, earning a million before thirty, getting married, to know the joy of reproduction. Yeah, I have regrets ..., but I also feel relieved. Because with my death, I can finally and for eternity escape from that place.

<Do you wish to regress and relive your life?>

Absolutely fucking not! Not gonna happen. This void of space is a thousand times better than earth. Though, it's a bit boring as there's nothing to do here. But at least, I didn't have to suffer through that once again.

<Then what about reincarnation?>

Like reincarnating to some isekai? Can you do that?

But at least I know some of the mainstream ones like [Excalibur], [Durandal], [Dragon Slayer], [Zangetsu], [Masamune], [Kusanagi], [Onion Sword], [Sword of Goujian], [Keris of Mpu Gandring], [Napoleon's Austerlitz Sword], etc. They were all based on myth and folklore as well as historical artifacts.

And then the outer layer of the prize wheel is the world..., damn, I never expect this. The worlds listed are anime, manga, and games, maybe some novels are also included but I was never a novel reader so don't know.

The first inner ring of the wheel rotated with incredible speed that my eyes couldn't follow it. It then gradually slowed down before it landed on one system.

Ramiel turned the outer ring which decide the world. The ring rotated and then it slowed down where I could read it. [Chronicles of Narnia], [Naruto], [Star Wars], [Alien], [Marvel Cinematic Universe], [Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka], [Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru], [Boku no Hero Academia], [Honkai Gakuen], [The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim], [Legends of Runeterra], ..., the pointer passed them all until it finally stopped on one name that I never know of.

I had no clue about what in the world is that.

<A brief introduction would be necessary I guess. It's a world based on a wuxia novel by Huang Yi, it tells a story of a young lecherous soldier from the 21st century who got time traveled and was entrapped in the ancient warring states period of China.>

That sounds like a historical novel.

So basically I get reincarnated into the past? Not to some isekai with sword and magic, but it's just past ancient Earth?

Ramiel didn't answer my question but just reformed its body into a five-pointed star, its core emitting a strong and ominous light as if preparing for something.

After that, the light produced from Ramiel's core intensified and hit my soul form. It blew me away as if the light pushed me out of this void. My consciousness is fading and I heard Ramiel's last word.

Hey guys, it's amethystore. I got no idea how to continue the Dimensional Merchant and so I decided to start to write some other fanfiction.

This time I made some about a legendary story but I was disappointed with the ending and how the overall story progressed. It's about a wuxia novel with the title of [A Step Into The Past].

The story took place and is set in the same era as the manga the Kingdom. About the unification of China under the Qin dynasty. But has more mature taste in it, with court politics, scheme, intrigue, seggs, and lots of NTR.

Yeah, imagine just how traumatized I got when I was a 14 years-old curious boy and reading this book. And then, one of the deuteragonists and MC's woman slept with other men ..., repeatedly, also with gangbang and stuff. That's a lot to take ..., I must say that reading this opened a new world for me, in a slightly painful and disgusting way.

Anyway, it's 7 years past that ..., and I think I'm ready to face that abomination once again. I don't care about whatever dogshit Xiang Shaolong, the MC of the book wanted.

Some spoiler, he wants to keep history repeating its course thus he becomes indecisive and not taking an opportunity when it was presented. This he did when he already know about the future! How infuriated I got back then when I was just screaming, why don't you do that! Or why did you let Lao Ai be with Empress Dowager when you already had the chance to be with her? Afraid of the butterfly effect? I fuck with the butterfly effect!

Thus, with such determination. I will write something about this and get those ancient beauties to be with my MC. Well, with some spice of overpowered protagonist as I don't know how to write the mc struggle. Always had a hard time writing the MC struggling when in the beginning, I want to write something that is basically a wish fulfillment.
