3rd POV | Seitenshi's Office |
"God got tired of your bullshit, and created the Gastrea to cleanse humanity, when he saw y'all weren't relenting, he sent the Level 5's" Ren decided to make up a lie conforming to the plot of the original Black Bullet to scare her.
"He was gonna leave but he wanted to see if you're really truly still worth salvation, so he sent the Cursed Children down with gifts that made them strong and agile and swift to save you..." Ren looked at the face of the horrified face of the Seitenshi.
"They were his last gifts to humanity..but when he saw what you all did..." The Seitenshi realized what he was probably going to say next..
"He gave up, as simple as that, he left humanity, to rot, feeling like Humans were a mistake and a stain to his creations..Humanity failed on his last test" Ren knew that his lie was working, he didn't want to lie but for his goal of saving the children, he won't let guilt stop him.
"And me? I'm just an observer back then, but I had disobeyed God and wanted to help the children, so I fell and I became a Fallen Angel.." Ren concluded his fake story as he folded his fingers with each other.
"Back to the original topic...I have but one thing to say to you, Seitenshi" Ren gave no time for her to digest this information and decided to intimidate her to make the effect better.
"I will be blunt..if I decide to kill all of your citizens except for the good ones and the children...what will you do?"
"Pardon?"
The Seitenshi snapped her head in horror due to Ren's words. His words rang through her mind like an echo.
"I said what I said...If I wanted to purge and clean your area what will you do?"
The Seitenshi thought over it worriedly as she gave her answer, even though she was scared, she still was in denial...
"I, We, will try to stop you no matter what!"
When Ren had saw her seriousness, he started laughing very hard as he said, "Hahahahaha! Stop me?! you simply aren't strong enough! If I so wanted to, I can destroy this whole city! And why will you want to save them?! Didn't I say that they are sinners?!"
"But they're human! they can still change!"
Ren used a mocking voice as he clenched his fist. He let out his aura to prove he was serious, a dark aura enveloped the room as he used the emotion of Anger from [<Verlangen>].
"I don't care..You're out of time Seitenshi, make your move, live or die, what is your choice?"
"Seitenshi, your time is ticking, better hurry up and decide!"
The Seitenshi at this point had become terrified of Ren, her hands was shaking and her facial expressions are shifting constantly.
"No matter what....I'll still try to stop you! Even if- Even if they're wrong! They are still my people!" Ren's thought process was to see if she had enough determination to change her destiny, her area..
Even though the Seitenshi had been drowned by despair, she still managed to get the determination or maybe hopelessness to fight back against destiny..
Ren suddenly stood up and walked towards the Seitenshi, each step the Seitenshi cowered in fear, like she was being watched by a monster, an apex predator, but in this case, a Fallen angel.
"Wise choice, Seitenshi, if you didn't have the determination for change, I wouldn't care if I kill as much people to save those children, but you have proved yourself, starting from now, if you don't become a real leader and take control of your own area, I will purge this area, then this country, then the world..."
Ren released his aura as he stood up straight and looked down at the Seitenshi.
"Is what I said understood? Remember that I can be both a saint...and a demon"
Seitenshi nodded while trembling from the aura and Ren's words. "I understand.."
"Great! That's all I wanted to say, I'm leaving"
Ren waltzed off the room as he unfroze Kikunojou from the space constraints leaving the two in silence.
"Seitenshi-sama, you wouldn't believe him will you?!"
Kikunojou immediately said to Seitenshi, wanting to persuade her again.
"Leave! Kikunojou...I've trusted you like my own father but you treat me as nothing but your puppet! This time, I will make things right! I will try and remove the stain of humanity and its sin!"
Seeing the resolute decision made by the Seitenshi, he left but as he was leaving he looked back, he saw the determination on her face.
'Perhaps this...must be the right path for her' Kikunojou thought as he continued his way out, he knew that he cannot change her mind anymore and he also knew his sins to humanity..

1st POV
'I finally got out of that room! It's really hard to act intimidating'
—Haaaaaaaah...
I sighed as I left the mansion with the group. 'Good grief, but if she really didn't change things up, we might have to put things in our own hands'
"Um, I think I'm forgetting something...." I subconsciously spoke out.
Sajuna who was next to me, replied. "Ha? You forgot something? Wait, let me think too"
"The system rewards for killing Aldebaran is the thing you're forgetting" Toka chimed in from the driver seat.
—Ting!
I think a light bulb lit up above my head when I finally figured it out. My eyes locked to Toka's through the back mirror, I nodded down as a sign of gratitude, she nodded back.
I waved my hands in the space in front of me as a holographic panel appeared seemingly from the void.

I clicked the {Yes} option as the rewards were redeemed almost instantly.

There was an animation from the holographic screen that displayed a chest with golden accents and patterns opening with a bright yellow light. When the animation ended, I saw 3 pictures in the screen...
