Chapter 53: A Warrior's Growth (part 2)

As the dust settled, Midori wiped the blood off her sword. Xue Fai was panting then puked on the ground.

"You did a good job Xue Fai." I approached Xue Fai, but then he glared at me.

"How is that a good job?!" Xue Fai shouted at me then ran away. Midori was about to chase after him, but I stopped her.

"We should give him some space." Midori looked back at me then looked back to the place where Xue Fai had run to,

"What if he doesn't come back?" She asked me. I looked on the ground and picked up his staff. 

"He'll come back because he left something."

A boy was dashing through the forest. He wanted to forget what happened and ran away from the battlefield. He could still hear the screams of the ones he killed.

[The <god > supporting Xue Fai is sighing]

He kept on running until he felt like his legs were going to fall off. After hours of running, he had finally exited the forest.
