The thugs backed off a little when they felt the mana surging from me, but one of them kept their wits about and took a step forward.

"Seem like you're confident in fighting against me."

The thug stayed silent and then he glanced towards his allies as they were not even moving; they were just standing there frozen in fear as I kept pressuring them with mana. The thug, who wasn't in fear, sighed and turned back.

"Look, you can have that bitch if you want, but put her on a leash next time. Let's go."

The thug commanded his allies to retreat, and I grabbed Alexandria's collar behind her neck and yanked her off of me.

"Just what did you do while I was asleep?"
