14 Finding the prisoned demons.

[South Walo infrastructure]

Pa! Pa! Pa!

The sound of gunshots echoed inside the building, individuals dressed in gray, each holding a blade in their hands raced through the tunnel halls.

"Sir! The chambers have been infiltrated!"

"Our men spotted three intruders dressed in black entering through the front gates!!!"

"Group c has been wiped out".

"Go go go!"

Everywhere was in panic as more and more guards fell in, running towards different destinations inside the infrastructure.

One of the group suddenly stopped their advance, their gazes fixed in front of them, where they could see O'niel, with two pistols in his hands, standing alone in the dimly lit tunnel way.

All around him were dead bodies of individuals wearing the similar gray outfit, blood and guts sprayed on the bricked ground.

"W-What in the…" One of the men spoke, his eyes scanning the deaths all around him.

"Ah, are you perhaps the one in charge here?" O'neil suddenly spoke, kicking the body of one of the dead members away from his path.

"Who are you? And what do you want?" The man asked, unsheathing his sword, ready to fight with O'niel.

"What do I want? I guess to clear this place before Lord Chaos comes, so would you kindly drop dead? I really hate stress." O'niel responded, moving closer towards them, his form having no motivation.

"Quick, apprehend him!" The man yelled, pointing his blade at O'niel.

Immediately, the men behind him responded, charging forward as fast as they could, their footsteps making splashing noises against the pool of blood on the ground.

O'niel sighed.

Wooosh!

He dodged the first sword strike, grabbing the individual's arm, O'niel pulled him closer, aimed the tip of his pistol to the mouth of the man and pulled the trigger.

Paaaa!

The man's head exploded, his body bursting into animation like a death effect before dropping to the ground, headless.

'What kind of weapon is that? I have never seen it before? An ancient relic? No, our research would have picked up on it, who exactly are these people and why now of all days?' The man spoke to himself, watching as O'niel, one by one, took out his men before his very eyes.

After a while, the floor was numbered with the man's fallen comrades, none stood a chance against O'niel, this left the man in a place where fear began to crawl up his face.

"Ahh, I guess you're the only one left," O'niel spoke, the pistols in his hands disappearing before he began massaging his hand.

"H-hey, why ….are you guys attacking us? Who hired you? I'm sure our leader could easily pay you double that…. If you'd just…"

"Shut up." O'niel cut the man short, a sigh leaving his mouth right after, "This is what Lord Chaos warned us about, humans are such disgusting creatures".

"Chaos?..." The man's eyes widened a bit, "I-Is that the name of your leader?!".

"Uhn? What makes you think I'll answer that? You're going to die anyway, shouldn't you be worrying about fighting back or something." O'niel responded, taking slow steps towards the man.

'Shit! I can't win! I need to run and get out of here!' The man immediately veered around, his body poised to run.

But before he could take a single step, a loud sword slash echoed and the man's head slid from his shoulder before he collapsed to the ground.

"O'neil, what are you doing? What if he had escaped?"

Jeanne walked forward, her blade, leaking blood from the tip as she stood a few distance away from O'niel.

"Sorry, thought I could question him for a bit, so he could tell me where the demons are." O'niel responded, his eyes immediately picking up on the sight before him.

Behind Jeanne, were multiple little demi humans, the frightening and relieved expression on their faces said it all, they were the prisoners the Black Havens had been searching for.

"You found them." O'neil utterred, a bit surprised by how many of them there were.

"Yes, but this isn't all, Raphael and the others will meet us in front of the river with the rest of the demi humans… so we should leave." Jeanne replied, the demi humans hugging her arm from behind.

"I guess I had nothing to worry about then, … I'll help." O'niel began moving closer so he could take some part of the demi humans.

...

"Haha! Humans are such weak creatures." Laughed Zakiel, her foot half way through the chest of a dead security man somewhere in South Walo.

"Easy there wild cat, you do know Lord Chaos is human right?" Raphael chimed in, her hands searching the pockets of one of the dead guards.

"Humph! Lord Chaos is different, he's the strongest." Zakiel pulled out her legs soaked in blood only to kick the dead body in the face with the same leg.

"Found it…" Raphael exclaimed as she pulled out a bunch of keys from the pocket of the guards.

She then proceeded to walk towards the door in front of her, stick the key inside the keyhole and turn it.

Click!

The door slowly swung open,

Raphael and Zakiel, walked into the room, their eyes scanning the inside to see how wide it was, book shelves on the left and on the right were sculptures of different arts.

"Ahhhhhh~ look at all this knowledge!" Raphael utterred excitedly, walking towards the shelves to start picking out books one by one.

"Don't mean to ruin your parade, but this doesn't look like the cell house for the demons…" Zakiel voiced out, her back resting on the wall with her arms crossed.

"Well not at first sight, but… if you do this…" Raphael pulled out a book and the wall in front of them split open,

"... This happens".

"How exactly did you know this?" Zakiel asked.

"Call it my intuition… now then." Raphael turned her gaze to the new path that just opened, "Show you face, I know you're in there".

From the split wall came two individuals, one, a wolf man, with two blades behind his back, and another, a bald man, sitting on a wheel chair with holes pinned to his arm.
