When Naruto reached inside the compound, he was surprised at its liveliness. Kids were running around and playing, and the male Uchiha actually was different. Their behavior is genuinely different from the outside. When Mikoto saw me observing them, she replied.

Mikoto: Oh, he noticed. "Surprising, isn't it? How different do the Uchihas behave when you see them outside. Of course, we Uchiha always cherish our loved ones; sometimes, we love someone too much. But, we are not all power-hungry like everyone says. Something caused them to make them behave arrogantly outside." She didn't specify what caused them to change. She just changed the topic.

Naruto was surprised when he heard what Mikoto said. He has read many Naruto fan pages about how Uchiha killed their loved ones for Mangekyo Sharingan and was intrigued by what caused them to change. I guess it's not entirely true killing their loved ones for Mangekyo; only if they are forced to do it or only some people did that in the past, and many probably forgot or didn't know. I think the Sharingan curse amplifies their emotion to an absurd amount. So it's not surprising Itachi killed everyone. Awaking of a Sharingan could cause heighten their feelings. Itachi awakened his Sharingan probably when his father took him to see war and hid it. He probably had ideals of peace, but after looking at the bloody battle, his ideas of peace were twisted, and awakening his Sharingan at the same time further caused him to become a twisted, violent pacifist.

Itachi awakened his Mangekyo Sharingan after Shisui died and right after he killed everyone in his clan. His Shringagn probably increased his hate for war and became a pacifist. He controlled Sasuke's life for the village by making him see how he killed his parents, and he kept calling him useless, weak, and to come to get revenge. If Itachi didn't show him how he killed and disappeared without seeing Sasuke and left him alone, Sasuke wouldn't have awakened his Sharingan at the time and become an Avenger. Sure even without awakening or his Sharingan or Itachi's Tsukuyomi, he will still pursue revenge but not too far, leaving his friends and village and becoming power-hungry.

[ A/N: For people who don't know, Sasuke awakened his Sharingan after looking at his parent's death in Tsukuyomi, but he never knew until 'awakening' at the fight with Haku. ]

Mikoto: "We have reached… Sasuke honey, go show him around the house. Then, you can play in the backyard. I'll call you when lunch is prepared."

Sasuke typical grunted, "Um." which caused Mikoto to chuckle.

Sasuke took him around and talked about their practice while arguing about who is the most powerful person blah blah blah… They come back when they hard Sasuke's mother yell for food.

Naruto sat down, waiting for everyone to arrive, and started eating.

Sasuke: "Ka-san, is Tou-san not coming? And When is Aniki coming ?"

Mikoto: "Tou-san had important work today, so I sent him with a lunchbox. And honey, you know your brother is busy with his work, but he said he should be back by tonight."

Sasuke was sad at first, but after hearing his brother coming, he was excited, so he started eating while humming happily and said

"I will show you how cool my Aniki is," something like that…

Naruto was surprised at how lively Sasuke was. While he is not emo-kun yet, he still doesn't talk to anyone in the class, even to girls. Some have already guessed he is gay, assuming how interested he is in me.

After lunch, Sasuke went to sleep; since he was only 6. Naruto never had a habit of sleeping in the afternoon since he always trains. Even Naruto, before awakening his memories never slept in the afternoon; he always reads books since he had a separate room.

Naruto: Sasuke is very lucky to have a wonderful mother like her; she even reminds me of my mother. My mother though nag a lot, but she always cared about my well-being. Even after turning 21, She never told me to live by myself or asked me to earn money. No, she always cooked me food and served me every day when I came home. Also, whenever I am late, she calls me to ask where I am and how I am doing. Although some might say it's overprotectiveness, I say it's how they show their love. It is sad how you never know how important they are until you miss them.

( No cliché of MC having bad past/parenthood. It's sad how your kids never love you the same amount of love you give them.)

When I saw Mikoto was washing dishes, I when her to help

"Hello Mikoto-san, here, let me help you."

Mikoto: "Oh, thank you, you are such a good boy."

Naruto: "So what do you do alone at home every day? Don't you get bored?"

Mikoto smiled and said: "Well… I do get bored now that Sasuke's school has started, and Itachi rarely comes home, and you know my husband is the clan patriarch, so he is always busy."

Suddenly Naruto had an evil thought and smirked internally: Oh, I can use that

He talked about some random thing and how life is. She was surprised at how mature I was. She also talked little about how difficult it is for her to stay alone. She was only friends with Kushina.

After Sasuke woke up, he went to train in the backyard. When It's getting dark outside, I told Mikoto I had intruded for a while, and it was time for me to leave. Mikoto insisted that I at least have dinner and go.

While talking, Itachi came, and Sasuke went nuts and started fanboying how cool and powerful his brother was. Then, Itachi gave me an apologetic smile for his brother's behavior. After that, Itachi and I shared some greetings and talked about how the academy is, and he was surprised when he heard I broke his academy records, so he praised me and gave me a few bits of advice, and said to Sasuke to work hard, and he wanted to pass me.

Then everyone got ready to have dinner. While talking with Mikoto, the room door opened a tall, intimidating figure with brown hair and black eyes, wearing a green kimono came in. Fugaku greeted everyone and sat down, but when he saw Naruto, he stayed still for some time.

< Fugaku POV >

It has been a hectic day for Fugaku. The counsel is not listening to him at all.

Fugaku: I have been trying to improve my clans status and that damn counsel… tch..

And Itacho started acting strange since I took him to the battlefield. I know it was wrong to take a kid at his age, but it's a tradition in my family, my father took my father and his father's father too them, so I took him.

Since Itachi started hanging out with Kagami's grandson Shushi, he started lying to me. I know as an experienced shinobi he is hiding something. Whenever he comes to the clan's meetings, he acts weird, like he is on edge.

As I opened the door, I saw a lion's cub. I didn't give it a thought since Mikoto was probably bored, or Sasuke brought him home. I will ask them later; I just want to eat and sleep. Then I greeted everyone, and a glimpse of red was in the corner of my eye. When I saw what it was, I was surprised when I saw his face.

Naruto: Oh, it looks like Fugaku came. Suddenly I sensed hatred and anger but turned to love and regret. What is the thinking? Why is he stiff and still?

Fugaku: Red hair... just like her. The same red hair I always loved. Suddenly he was hit with an influx of memories of him with a beautiful red-haired woman. They are happy and holding hands…
