Secret Training
Apparently, using a stick as a mock sword is a great way to level up Weapon Mastery.

"Hup!" In my room I swung a stick around. More accurately, I was waving it around like a dumbass.
[You do look quite ridiculous]
"Just wait. Soon I'll be cleaving mountains in two." I swung upwards with too much force as I lost my grip on the stick and in an event of comedic timing it hit the roof before slamming into my face. "...Ow..."

With a grumble I toss the stick in the corner of my room. "Okay maybe I should start with a smaller stick."
That, or I could just train my Aura which probably should've been the first thing I did when I got home. However, my younger self's fantasies got the best of me.
Sighing, I activate my aura, a reddish hue surrounding my body. The changes were instant and I could already feel the increase of stats.
"So how do I activate my semblance." While I goofed around a bit I asked the system a more important question.
[Aura has to reach level 50]
That seems... Simple. I think?

Yeah, it might be pretty easy.
"Okay, let's work on meditate now." I dispel my aura and plop on the ground whilst pulling up my stats.

"Didn't go down too much." I take a glance at the new bar on my status called Skill Tree. Like the one in video games where you spend points to unlock new skills or other stuff. Well It's that, but for aura.
"Let's just see what it's about." I click on the bar, a large screen appears in front of me. After a quick glance, I could already see how neat this is.

The list went on and on, however I had a question. "What are AP?"
[Aura Points. Basically, you can spend your aura to gain skills. Since you gain aura with every level up, it's basically a cheat]
"Neat." I refrained myself from instantly purchasing a skill and instead decided to atleast see it's uses.

"....Is that it?" Was that really its whole description? Just the same words but flipped around.
[Well somebody felt kinda lazy]
"And who's this 'someone?'"

"....Okayyyy." Welp, since the skill does seem useful I'll buy it.

I felt a small draining sensation around me but ignored it, quickly checking my skill.
'Aura Sense?' My world turned grey as everything around me looked blank and lifeless. As I looked outside I was greeted with the same sight.
"Okay, this is pretty useful." I looked down, seeing 3 orbs of light. One was a large red one yet was covered in roses. A yellow one surrounded by fire and the final one seemed to be larger than the two combined and shined brightly. "Guess that's Ruby's, Yang's and Tai's aura."
"So it lets me see anything that has aura..." That would be useful for finding someone who's hiding... I could be the best seeker in the world if it came to it. Not like it would help me with my current situation.
"I'm gonna assume that since I'm the brother of Ruby Rose I have some importance in the plot, correct?" I don't think it'll be possible for me to stray away from the plot.
[Well that's kinda true. Right now, you can be considered an 'Anomaly' something that isn't supposed to be in this world. Even with God's influence, it wasn't possible to transport your soul here fully]
Huh..."Is that bad?"
[Mostly. To start, you'll be pushed into rather dangerous situations without a choice. More so it can happen at any given time]

As if demonstrating, a loud boom occurred downstairs.

"WHAT SORT OF FUCKERY IS THIS?!" I quickly slam my bedroom door open, running out into the hallway and quickly jumping downstairs.
True to the system's words, a Beowolf was sniffing around the living room, seemingly searching for something. In a corner of the room was Yang and Ruby, crouching to avoid the Grimm's sight.
"Thank god it's just a Beowolf. I was worried it was gonna be something more terrifying." Calming myself down, I raise my arm up and activate the Summon Sword skill.
3 ethereal blue swords appeared at my side and with a wave of my arm they shot towards the Beowolf, stabbing into its side.
"GRAHHHH!" It let out a loud roar, thrashing around it's body to get rid of the swords in its side.
"Welp, I've done all I can do." I stare as the Grimm continues to thrash around creating a mess of the living room. "How am I supposed to know how it's dead? Better yet, why didn't I just shoot the swords into its head?"
As I pondered and waited for the Grimm to die, I didn't notice another contender who I guess got attracted by the negative energy from Ruby and Yang.
"RED! WATCH OUT!" Yang suddenly called out, breaking me out of my thoughts.
"Huh?" Turning to the side, I was lucky to managed to just barely dodge the claw strike of another Beowolf, yet not lucky enough to avoid getting struck.
"Gah!" I felt a massive amount of pain in my right arm as I hurriedly jumped backwards. Looking down I could see a slash mark across my arm. "Fuuuuck, that hurts."
[HP: 476/500]
"Luckily it wasn't too much." I raise my left arm again, summoning three swords before allowing them to stab into the Grimm's head, instantly killing it.

I watch as the Grimm dissolves into particles, sighing in relief.

"Right. Kinda forgot I had Aura..." Even without magic, I probably could've thrown hands with those two Beowolf. "For now though..." I turn my attention to Ruby and Yang who were slowly coming out of their hiding spot.
"You guys okay? Well, considering you don't have any wounds, I'd assume your fin- OOF!"
Faster than I could react, both Yang and Ruby were hugging me and balling their eyes out. Awkwardly, I place my hands on their shoulder to try and comfort them.
'I never thought I would need Tai more than I do now.' I didn't know how to comfort children, I didn't even have any of my own!
Until Tai came home. I tried my best to comfort the two.
