In Love With Mr Adrian

Excerpt "Part your legs" he told her with an expressionless face, as if what he said was no big deal. Hazel on the other hand, blinked once, twice and thrice as if she hadn't heard him correctly. What did he say? I should part my legs?! For what reason? Did I even hear him right?, she asked herself internally. It still sounded ridiculous to her ears. How could he tell her to part her legs? Him of all people? "Part your legs for me, Hazel" his voice sounded again which made her to look at him with wide eyes. Indeed! She heard him right! "Sir......Sir I can't pa-" Hazel said but was interrupted by the man who said "Shh......I don't want to hear any of it Hazel. Be a good girl and part your legs so that I can locate the injury, alright?" What injury is he talking about? I'm not injured at all, she thought Hazel did not know what injury he was talking about because as far as she knew, she was not injured and especially not down there. As she kept on pondering about where he got the idea that she was injured, she felt a palm suddenly on her exposed thigh. Her eyes immediately stretched wider and met his gaze. "Sir.....wh..... wha-" Hazel was again interrupted by the man who placed his thumb on her lips to silence her. Bringing his face closer to hers, he said, "If you won't part your legs for me, I'll part them myself " after saying that, he bent his head, ready to part her thigh when a knock was heard on the door.

Human Black Box

From the dawn of mankind, since we have existed, we have been at war with “them”. A fight for survival for us. A game of slaughterhouse for “them”. We could do nothing but watch as we got reduced from once great kingdoms and empires to small enclaves and little settlements. From every continent, from every corner of our beloved Earth, we were driven back. The last bastion of humanity is located here, in the land of Translya. But even here, we only control a fraction of the total territory. This is where my story begins, in the year 192. My name is Adrian and me and my family live west of the Free Territories, in “their” territory. But despite this, we are able to live in relative peace. Until that day, until that cursed day... when my village was attacked. They razed every building to the ground, slaying every villager... even my own family... brutally crushed to pieces. They left me alive for reasons unknown. Maybe out of mockery, maybe out of ulterior motives. “They” didn’t leave empty-handed. “They” took my younger sister with “them”. I was left with a gift. A piece of “them” was forever installed into me. “Them”? Who are “them”? “They” are whatever you want to call “them”. Monsters, devils, demons, fiends, enemies... Whatever we called them, it didn’t matter to them. Some of them look like they descended from heaven. The others looked like they were dragged straight from hell. Appearances didn't matter. Both were hungry for human flesh. They have only one goal: to destroy humanity and watch us suffer as they relish in their chaos. But they seem to forget one thing: me. By leaving me alive, they left humanity’s own monster to feed on its own hatred and rage to one day fulfill its revenge. Whether I die or not on this path is not important. I can promise you one thing: I will retrieve my little sister and I will slaughter them all. Regardless of everything, we will win. Humanity will win and we will regain the freedom that was wrongly stolen from us... at any and all costs.

I CAN'T BELIEVE THE VILLAIN WAS RIGHT!

The world isn't fair. And Ruun knows better than anyone else. After the first time he died, he was invited to come back to life, stronger than before. Faster, smarter, too. Ruun decided to use this second chance to make the world a better, more equal place. But the Great Constellation didn't like it. She had bigger, darker plans. And Ruun would ruin everything, if he ever stood against her. So, the Great Constellation bestowed her powers upon a group of heroes, and convinced them that Ruun was evil. After getting sick of these games, Ruun decided it was time. To prove them right! Ruun, then, became the most powerful and vengeful villain alive. Only that he knew about the Great Constellation's plan, but let them taste their own medicine, right? Ruun got imprisoned by the heroes, with the help of the Great Constellation, in the Abyss, for thousand years. There, he met Kora, his valiant partner in murder and beast-slaying. Meanwhile, the Great Constellation took over the world, and began her reign of chaos, death, and destruction. But one hero, a mage that remained alive, tried her best to come up with a spell that could take Ruun out of the Abyss. And even if she could die in the process of creating the spell, she let her lineage know about what mattered most. Now, one thousand years later, a portal opens in the Abyss, and Ruun is called back to his home world. But will he accept any apologies? **************************************************** I don't own the rights for the cover art, but I can't seem to find the owner, so if you do appear around here, and want me to shut the cover down, I'll gladly do it. **************************************************** If you want to support me, and help my work reach new heights, please, donate. https://ko-fi.com/mrbones23640
