Wishes

A few hours later I'm awoken by the sounds of guards surrounding my home. I hear the first trap stair give way and spring to my feet. Abu squaks indignantly at being thrown and lands right on top of Jasmine startling her awake I put my finger to my lips and the only sounds come from below. I peak out of the window and see the building is surrounded. "That is too many for petty theft." I say aloud, as Jasmine pales at the implications. "Abu," I pick up my best friend. "Hide on the roof and don't come out." He tries to argue and I give him a look. "Love you buddy." I say tapping him on the chest where he keeps his lockpicks in his vest. He nods seriously and I toss him up as he climbs into a hidey-hole.

I look at Jasmine and just say "They probably won't execute us if we give up." I get on my knees hopefully for the last time and raise my hands in the air. She looks at me with tears in her eyes but does nothing. When the guards come up two grab me fiercely and shout I'm under arrest. A heavy set huard with a goatee comes in and grins cruelly at me.

Seeing Abu's golden pile he walks over and grabs a handful holding it infront of my face. "Hows a street rat like you have all this. You'll be in the dungeons until you rot thief." He looks at Jasmine who still has her head covered and his grin widens. "I'll have lots of fun with your little girlfriend while we're at it haha."

He moves to grab her but she pulls of her hood and says "As princess I demand you let him go."

The goateed captain sputters. "PRINCESS! What are you doing here?"

"Does that matter I said let him go." Jasmine demands as I smile a bit and think she is so naive.

The captain looks stuck in between a rock and a hard place until he realizes he has higher orders. Apologetically he says "I'm sorry princess I can't do that the Grand Vizier Has demanded he be arrested."

She huffs and says "We will see about that." After that I am quickly arrested and brought to the dungeons.

Not long later Abu shows up and unlocks the shackles that were holding me to the wall. "Thanks buddy. How bout that princess eh?" He rolls his eyes and I laugh.

A moment later Jafar shows up wearing his disguise as the creepy old man. He gives me his speech about the cave of wonders and I follow along like he expects. We exit the dungeon through his hidden path and make our way to my future. We make our way to the desert and through a sandstorm I pull his horse.

The cave of wonders appears from the two scarab beetle pieces. "WHO DISTURBS MY SLUMBER." Roars the giant tiger face.

"It is I Aladdin." I state a bit intimidated but very excited.

"TOUCH NOTHING BUT THE LAMP." He shouts and opens his maw revealing a set of stairs.

Jafar is shouting something behind me but I don't care ahead of me lies my goal the plans of years at my fingertips. Abu and I go down several steps and I grab him and make him look me in the eye. "Abu, we have to be super serious right now you can't leave my hands you got that we touch nothing. If you feel tempted close your eyes and I'll get us through this trust me buddy." He nods seriously and I hold him to my chest wit his tail wrapped around my forearm. We decend the rest of the stairs and saw the gold piled 3 stories high. It was quite a sight to see. If I didn't know the true value at the depths of this place this would be harder. I held Abu as he gawked at the riches before us. We walked the path and I saw the flying carpet. After walking across it it hopped up and followed us.

Catching him in the act I say "Its okay little guy. I'm Aladdin and this is Abu we are looking for the lamp." The carpet is excited and quickly wraps me up and mimes to follow him. We take off running and chase the carpet, I keep Abu pinned to my chest. After following the carpet for a while we get to the stage the lamp sits at the top of steps with gaps between them. "Wow. Carpet could you take me there?" I step on and he floats us up to the pedestal. "Lets get you out of there."

I pick up the lamp gingerly and think through my wishes and backup wishes again. I rub the lamp and wait for the moment of truth.

Sparks shoot out and smoke billows from the lamp until Robin Williams shouts and stretches as a gigantic blue genie. He goes on a spiel says high to the carpet and gets my name from me and tells me I have 3 wishes.

"Wow so you were cooped up in there for 10000 years im sorry man I can't even imagine. How about for my third wish I set you free?" I smile up to him.

"Wait you mean that Al?" Genie says with desperation in his voice.

"Absolutely I will give you my wishes right now if you are ready." I grin knowing we are both about to be super happy.

"YAHOO!" He twirls around me poofing a pillow under my butt and telling me to lay them on him.

"I wish, for all the abilities of a Kryptonian with none of the weaknesses." I say with hope that this is possible.

He says "One super-powered superman coming right up and hits me with a ray of blue gold light." I felt it as my entire being was transformed and enhanced. Awesome now I know my next wish will probably work too.

"Thank you Genie one more and your a free bird! I wish, to be able to create portals like the portal gun from Rick and Morty but as a natural ability."

"Look out multiverse here comes Al." The Genie shouts and sprays me with another light. I become aware of the ability immediately and know I can poof into a dimension with just a thought.

"Thanks Genie and now your freedom. Genie I wish for your freedom." I said fulfilling the bargain.

Tears of joy stream out of his face and the shackles on his wrists break. "Hahaha I'm Free! Go on wish for something outrageous. Wish for the moon."

I laugh "I wish for the moon."

"NO WAY! Hahahha no more eternal servitude I'm going on vacation!"

I pick up the lamp. "Alright Genie, stay in touch I can't wait to hear about your trips. I have an evil sorcerer to end upstairs." I smile and reach out for a handshake.

He shakes my hand and gives me a big hug. "Thank you Al. You don't know what this means to me."

I look to the carpet "Are you going with him or me?" The carpet and the Genie are buddies so I'm not surprised to see him swirl around me and and head over to the Genie. They both swirl and poof out of existence and I look at Abu "What do you say to us getting out of here?" He nods and I open a portal outside of the cave behind Jafar. Seeing him wait and stare into the cave I decide easy is better and spartan kick him in the back into the cave of wonders. The tiger chomps him up and I say "Enjoy your meal." as he disappears into a sand mound.

The horse is still out here, and I haven't gotten my first taste of solar power yet, so I hop on and ride to Agrabah. Leaving the horse outside the city I walk into town heading for our home its still dark out but I can't wait till dawn. We get home and the dragons nest has been raided. I pat Abu's back as he cries and promise to get him a even bigger pile soon.
