Love

Getting home I tuck Abu in on his gold pile and wrap him in a blanket. I think over how happy I am I included Abu and her on that excursion. I know that one of the features of the power from Chronicle is the ability to know when the others with the power are in danger. I will be able to come to their rescue if I sense them panicking or hurt.

I decide to go on my first excursion out of the atmosphere to sunbathe. Stripping down leave my house. I steadily rise up going faster and faster until I leave the exosphere. I look down on the earth and focus my vision untill I see Agrabah again. Now I don't need to worry about not finding it again I move out of the shadow cast by the earth and into that sweet cosmic light. I spend several hours out there untill I can see its about to be dawn in the city.

Decending like a shooting star I enter the atmosphere and free fall for quite a while. My body smells like charcoal from being in space so I dive into the river and scrub myself down. I move quickly to my house and get dressed for the day. Picking up Abu I ask "How would you like to eat all the food in the palace today?" His excitable chittering lets me know the guy is ready and we quickly fly over to the palace. I leave him on the balcony and land in the gardens plucking a few leaves from a tree on the way and setting them by the water fountain.

I begin to focus on the newest of my powers willing the leaf I'm staring at to float. Kryptonians may have powerful tactile telekinesis, but I want to be able to summon meteors like Tatsumaki from One Punch Man. Soon the leaf started to twitch then move more and more. I took a short break then not wanting to see if this power could make me bleed even with my enhanced physiology. I feel no need to speed along with my practice the entire movie was less than a year and they could block bullets and throw cars. I have plenty of time and no destructive friend to worry about going nuts.

I had lifted the leaf 3 times before I heard Jasmine come to the balcony. I look up at her and she gazes at me lovingly. Disney princesses fall hard in love and this one is hard not to love. I float myself up to her giving her a kiss and sweeping her into my arms. I lower us to the fountain. "Good morning and happy birthday. Are you ready to try your superpower?"

"Yes!" She chirps. "What do I have to do?"

"I'll let you figure it out but if you feel like you're straining a lot then take a break there is no rush." I smile at her and practice on my own leaf as she puts a cute expression on her face. I'm constantly smiling at this girl I realize. Seeing her leaf shake a bit I shout. "Wow you already shook the leaf that was way faster hen me." I kept having issues focusing on not using my tactile TK while using the remote TK. But a super brain adapts fast thats for sure.

"Yes! I can't believe it this is awesome!" Jasmine jumps in joy and hugs me tightly.

"Within a year you will be up there flying by yourself. With this you will never feel trapped again." I tell her and she hugs me tighter.

"Thank you." She cries tears of joy. "I felt so caged in before you came in to my life. Now there all these new possibilities. This power, sorcery, choosing the man I get to marry. All this wouldn't have happened if I didn't meet you in that market place."

I kiss the top of her head and pet her back as she snuggles in and let's out her emotions. After a little while she sits up, somehow her makeup is still perfect. She kisses me deeply again and after a few moments she takes a deep breath. She sets herself and looks back to the leaf. I see her brows furrow in determination and slowly the leaf rises and holds steady. She looks back to me and says "Try to keep up. I'll be flying circles around you in no time." She grins mischievously and the leaf drops back down.

"I can't wait to see what you show me. I love strong minded girls like you." I reply floating my own leaf between us for a few moments.

The next four months are spent with Jasmine and I getting closer. We spend our time working on TK, sorcery, and the orphanage project. At night I would bathe in solar radiation on top of spending all day in the sun. I never felt the need to sleep or eat though I would still sometimes or to just pass the night in space. Abu and I had moved into the palace and the sultan lets Abu sleep in the treasury. I swear the little guy is more dragon then monkey.

We found Jafar's serpent staff and practice hypnotizing each other and breaking out of it. Increasing our mental strength and defenses. Abu practices with TK by stealing things without touching them in the palace he has quite a horde in a corner of Jasmine's room. We spend our evenings making out and flying around the world seeing different sights. She was extremely motivated to learn to fly on her own.

We are practicing in the garden I had collected several hay bales and made a nice soft area for her to land in. "Okay Jas, you ready?" At her nod I say. "Now you have already lifted and kept things far heavier then your body in the air. You can do it beautiful."

She scrunches her cute face and bends into a squat. Exploding out she launches herself 15 meters into the air and tumbles down towards the hay bales. I cushion her landing with remote TK. She pops up with hay all in ther braid and I giggle until she glares at me. Locking my lips with a gesture I watch as she sets herself again. "I think I know what I did wrong. I just pushed up in one hard burst instead of slowly increasing the upward pressure." I smile and say nothing as I watch the brilliant woman focus. Her clothes start to flutter and she starts to raise up off the ground. "Al! I'm flying!" She shouts as she continues to go higher.

"You're amazing Jasmine, test your maneuverability before you go to high. And don't push too much on your first flight." I tell her as she starts to do loops and circles around me and the garden.

She comes down and lands in a hug with me taking a break before a nose bleed could happen. "Thank you Al." She says then looks me square in the eye and with determination says "I love you."

I whoop and grab lift her up flying over the palace and holding her next to me I say. "I love you too Jasmine." We spend the day flying about sometimes her on her own, or when she needs a break on my powers. We cruise over the seas and float around the skies kissing and teasing each other. I scoop her up and fly her back to the palace. We go to dinner with her father and Jasmine tells him how she did her first flight today.

"Father, I have decided I want to marry Aladdin. I think he would make a great sultan, and you know he would protect me like you have always wanted." Jasmine says with authority. She still wears the mystic blue diamond ring I gave her back then. I smile happily this woman is outstanding. I will happily spend the rest of her life by her side.

Her father perks up hearing this the spoon with soup landing in his lap as he was mid sip. "Oh fantastic Jasmine! And welcome to the family my boy! We will have to plan the wedding as soon as possible. Oh! Oh! Oh! Such a joyous day! My daughter is to be married!" The little guy shouts. The tiny man scoops us up with cartoonish strength hugging us. And then he runs out of the room to start the plans.

"Jas, I can't tell but it seems like he took the news well." I joke and she laughs.

"Come on lets go tell Rajah and Abu." She says leading me by the hand to her room.

When we tell them Abu pats my back and wipes a tear from his eye, like a happy father and we all crack up.
