Chapter 7: Ambiguity

"Don't go around talking about this; I've already violated regulations!"

The young policeman warned, but didn't seem too concerned about it.

"I don't even know your name yet. Let's be friends!" Ye Sha smiled and extended his hand in friendship.

"I'm Wang Yanjin, pleased to meet you!" Officer Wang Yanjin was also cheerful and amiable, shaking Ye Sha's hand with a smile. They established a preliminary acquaintance.

Next, Wang Yanjin asked about the details of the gym and the specifics of Ye Sha's escape methods. They are currently working together with the Exorcism Bureau, and it's essential to learn and document methods to repel the supernatural, potentially saving lives in the future.

The two bodies were carried out, and the gym was sealed off. The case temporarily came to a close, as the Exorcism Bureau couldn't find any traces of the mysterious broadcast.

The police sent the survivors to the hospital or back home. Wang Yanjin then asked Ye Sha if he needed a ride home.

"I rode my electric scooter here; I'll ride back. Thanks anyway!"

Ye Sha thanked Officer Wang Yanjin. They had just exchanged phone numbers and seemed to get along well.

"Goodbye!"

Wang Yanjin waved from the car before driving off in the police car.

The area was tightly sealed off, with police and Exorcism Bureau personnel guarding the scene, prohibiting anyone from entering or leaving.

Liu Yuning looked gravely at her commercial building, her assets devalued due to this unfortunate incident.

"Boss, where are you going? I can give you a ride!"

Ye Sha approached, pushing his electric scooter.

"I have nowhere to go; I might have to sleep on the streets!"

Liu Yuning looked helpless. Her only asset in Jiangyang City was this building, and all her documents were inside. She only had her phone with her.

"You can stay at a hotel, Boss!"

Ye Sha innocently suggested, not having any ulterior motives.

"I'm scared, I don't dare to stay alone after encountering something so strange,"

Liu Yuning teased, looking at the handsome young man.

"What should we do?"

Ye Sha thought for a moment; he couldn't possibly leave his boss stranded.

"Unless there's a brave man beside me, I won't feel safe," Liu Yuning hinted, blushing a little.

"..."

Ye Sha got the hint but wasn't dense. He said, "Boss, let me invite you to my place!"

"Hehe, how kind of you,"

Though she said that, Liu Yuning eagerly hopped onto the backseat of the scooter, wrapping her arms around Ye Sha's waist.

"Your place is so clean! I didn't expect a big guy like you to live so neatly!"

Liu Yuning exclaimed happily, inspecting the room, showing no fear despite the recent strange events.

By now, it was late afternoon, nearing dinner time. Ye Sha opened his phone to order takeaway.

He used to cook for himself, sticking to a strict diet due to his fitness routine. However, the mischievous ghost from last night had emerged from the kitchen sink, leaving the kitchen in chaos. Cooking was now out of the question!

Speaking of the ghost, after he crushed it, it transformed into a wisp of black smoke and seemed to merge into his werewolf body, possibly enhancing his strength a bit. However, due to Ye Sha's intense stress at the time, he didn't pay much attention.

"What do you want to eat, Boss? I'll order takeaway," Ye Sha asked, holding his phone. With limited funds, he chose a well-reviewed budget restaurant.

"What are you ordering? Let me treat you!"

Liu Yuning leaned in to take a look, disdainfully closing the app on Ye Sha's phone and opening her own. The app seemed more upscale, like an exclusive app for a high-end restaurant.

"Boss, it's on me!" Ye Sha offered politely, noticing Liu Yuning was ordering close to him. They were sitting on the same chair, quite close, creating a slightly ambiguous atmosphere.

Earlier today, Ye Sha had thrown out the broken sofa into the trash outside and temporarily replaced it with two armchairs.

"Boss... there are chairs there!" Ye Sha hinted desperately. The stunning boss was still in her tight-fitting workout outfit, and with them being so close, he felt like he was on fire!

It was heating up!

"I think it's comfortable like this!" Liu Yuning acted innocent, staying put. She even playfully brushed her arm against Ye Sha's as she continued ordering.
