31 Chapter 28: The Beginning of Chaos at the Club

Author: I don't know if I have a problem, but I've recently started having a fanfiction idea that haunts my sleep.

So I decided to write it in hopes of getting my nights of sleep back. It's a work similar to Lookism (and The PTJ Verse). It's Hanlim Gym, and the protagonist of this fanfiction is a guy who ended up in Hwan Seok's body (nicknamed the Korean Jesus because of his power).

In short, the title is: A New Kind of Prophet.

Author's POV

While Jake Kim analyzed me from top to bottom, Johan ignored him but gave me a dark look, anyone could tell the atmosphere was tense.

"Do you understand, Johan? Unless you want to confront me here and now, which is a risky bet if you want my humble opinion, you have to bring me Daniel's phone", declared Hanju while also looking at Johan, who currently exuded a more murderous aura than at the time. The moment of their fight in the park.

"Fuck you, Hanju," he said, entering the club, probably to look for Daniel Park's phone.

"It's just you and me, Mr Jake Kim. I learned that you keep my friend at the juvenile detention center," Hanju said, taking out his phone to order Uijin Gyeong and Jeongdu Ma to come to the club via text message.

"What friend are you talking about?" Jake said, frowning.

He was clearly wary of Hanju, who strangely could threaten Johan Seong, alias God Dog, and make him back down, even though the latter is known for his foul temper.

"You know Yugyeom Na, don't you?" Hanju asked, knowing the two were acquaintances.

"Oh, him, I remember him. Is he a friend of yours?" Jake Kim asked in a relaxed tone.

It seemed that the fact of knowing that Hanju was a friend or acquaintance of Yugyeom Na from Gangbuk South had reassured him.

"Yes, and currently, he's a member of my crew," Hanju declared, remembering that he had indeed entrusted something to Suoh Kang, but he had completely forgotten about the monster that was Yugyeom Na.

"And there's also this girl named Jihyeon Lee, who, I remember well, possesses an excellent talent for the art of weapons handling," Hanju thought, recalling some talents he had forgotten.

"Tell me, Hanju, do you have any information on a certain Sinu Han?" Jake Kim asked nonchalantly, as if he wasn't asking for important information.

"You're too late, he's no longer in this place," Hanju also replied nonchalantly.

"Do you have any idea where he is?" he continued, trying to extract more information from Hanju.

"Yes, but you'll have to help me with something before I tell you the location of your former leader," Hanju said, giving Jake a significant look, who understood that Hanju was aware of Sinu Han's importance to the Workers and Big Deal.

"What do you want?" he said bluntly to Hanju.

"I just called some friends of mine, and I'd like you to do the same," Hanju expressed, checking if Uijin Gyeong and Jeongdu had confirmed they were on their way.

"Why?" Jake Kim asked, trying to understand the motivations behind Hanju's request.

The atmosphere had already shifted from a casual one between acquaintances to a serious one between two crew leaders.

"I'm going to destroy this place, and please don't ask me for the details that drive me to do so, but know that the activities here are clearly opposed to your values at Big Deal," Hanju explained patiently.

Jake seemed to debate but eventually contacted Jerry and Lineman to show Hanju that he agreed to cooperate.

"Although I didn't tell Jake Kim, I want to meet Eugene from the Workers, and for that, this place must be destroyed," Hanju thought as he watched Johan return with a phone in hand.

"Good dog," he said, dodging Johan's attack that came after he finished his little provocation.

"Calm down, I won't tease you anymore," he expressed to calm Johan, who this time didn't seem in the mood to tolerate his humor.

"There, in a few minutes, this place will have a fine band of strong individuals, and I hope it will be possible to beat Goo Kim at the same time as Daniel goes out of control," Hanju mentally concluded, excited for the rest of the evening.

"So, about my mother?" Johan said with the same threatening tone.

"Oh! That, to put it simply, Vivi and the Workers were the suppliers of the drugs to your mother's sect," Hanju answered.

As soon as he finished speaking, Johan emanated an extremely menacing aura that even intimidated the present Jake Kim.

"He's strong, I wonder if I can beat this monster in front of me," Hanju thought doubtfully, before brushing the doubt from his mind.

Hanju knew that Johan was extremely talented, and now he could say that he had entered a league slightly inferior or similar to his own.

[Alert, alert]

The AI notification rang in his mind, but Hanju paid no attention to it since he already knew that Johan had become stronger than he had expected.

"I'm going to have a discussion with Xiaolong and Vivi," Johan said in a calm voice that would send chills down anyone's spine.

"But I hope you haven't lied, Hanju. Otherwise, one of us will have to disappear," Johan expressed before entering.

"I understand better why you say that this place doesn't match our values at Big Deal," Jake said, watching Johan's back and remembering Hanju's comments about Johan's mother.

"I'll go with him, since he may possibly have difficulties or do something he'll end up regretting," Jake said, also going inside.

"What should I do, follow Johan or wait for Vasco and the others?" Hanju thought, looking at Daniel's phone and his own.

After a few minutes of deliberation, Hanju decided to follow them.

"Anyway, the failure of this mission will be blamed on Johan when we get to Tom Lee's, so I've sufficiently covered my back to let loose tonight," Hanju concluded as he followed them.

Outside the area populated by customers, which was relatively normal, Hanju could see a lot of people knocked out in the areas off-limits to the public.

"Xiaolong is going to be in trouble," Hanju thought, laughing on his way.

Author's POV

"You received a message from Daniel too?" Vasco asked, slightly out of breath.

"Yes, I also received his message, but who are you?" Zack questioned, frowning at the two human mountains that were Jerry Kwon and Jeongdu Ma, who stared at each other.

"We don't have to answer you, but who are you?" Uijin Gyeong, number 8 of Gangbuk North, asked Zack Lee.

"You, you..." Zack wanted to say something, but he was interrupted by someone who had just arrived.

"Oh, oh, calm down," Eli Jang said with a peaceful smile that surprisingly managed to ease the tension.

"Who is this guy? His presence reminds me of God Dog's aura," Uijin Gyeong thought, frowning behind his sunglasses as he looked at the newcomer.

"We're all in a hurry to accomplish our objectives in these places, aren't we?" Eli Jang asked, looking at each person present who didn't contradict him.

"I propose that each person here take care of their own business and, if possible, without interfering with others," Eli Jang proposed with the same gentle smile.

"I agree," Jeongdu Ma said, going straight into the club, and Uijin Gyeong immediately followed behind after throwing one last look at Zack Lee.

"Who are these people?" Eli Jang asked Jerry, hoping to obtain useful information.

"They are executives of Gangbuk North, a crew that took control of the Gangbuk district formerly occupied by Johan," Jerry explained without hiding anything since he preferred not to unnecessarily confront Eli Jang.

"Every time we beat a bad guy, others appear," Vasco thought, watching the backs of Uijin Gyeong and Jeongdu Ma.

"We have to hurry, Daniel Park is in danger," Zack Lee said, clenching his fists in frustration.

"Johan, I'll bring you home tonight," he thought, remembering another message apart from the information about Daniel Park's situation.

Author's Note: Yes, this arc is going to be really chaotic (too many fights in different areas).
