12 His woman (2)

'Get used to this Aldrin, soon you'll have no choice but to let go forever,' she thought.

A devious smile spread across Eisha's lips. The two women were testing her patience anf the layers of it were growing thin.

She met Mrs. Marivaldi's eyes. She held her head high and blinked back her fangs that were out for blood. The demon inside her was asking to be let out to clean up the room anf return her peace.

"Emma Larson and I do believe you've overstayed your welcome," she said one more time.

Eisha dug her nails into her palm to keep herself in check. She stepped back and pulled the spoiled brat away from Aldrin.

"You said that," she began to say. Her eyes darted over to Aldrin while still holding Emma's hand. "Tell me love, who would rather leave this room?" She inquired from Aldrin.

Aldrin felt his mother's eyes burning holes at him. Emma too stared at him with hopeful eyes that he chooses her. The man stood between the three fierce women who looked at him with expectations.

Each of them had different desires from him but only one with whom he cared to please. Eisha helped in the few times they had been together than any therapist money could buy ever did.

His mother chose to dictate his life than try to understand what he needed. It was probably why his past haunted him as much as he did because he didn't have someone to lean on.

No one tried to understand how broken he was or tried to see that he was only human and could use someone to ask him if he was okay. Everyone including his family expects him to fine just because he is Aldrin Marivaldi.

He was tired. Eisha helped him rest, she took his pain away and relieved him of his burdens. Since everyone started talking, she is the only one who took it upon herself to ask him what he wanted.

Which is more than what his mother had done for him forever. He couldn't even remember the last time asked him what he wanted in his life.

She made assumptions and acted upon them without consulting him each time anticipating that he will accept it without questions.

"I want you," he said and paired momentarily. His mother and Emma smiled happily. They considered that to be their first victory against the strange girl.

Eisha frowned. She let go of Emma's hand and made a move to leave. She wasn't in the right state of mind to stay there and process what just happened. She feared doing something that would make Aldrin hate her for the rest of his human life.

"To stay, the rest of them can find their way out," he added sternly as Eisha's hands touched the door knob.

Aldrin stared at her back happily. When she thought he wanted her to leave, she didn't argue with him and went for the door. That respect was something he had missed.

Unlike the people in his life who imposed on him, she didn't push her limits. Till that moment he had seen her mark her territory around him, it was nice to know that she was okay with walking away if it was his wish.

"You have to be joking," Emma uttered startled.

"My thoughts exactly, we aren't going anywhere until she leaves from here," Mrs. Marivaldi said taking Emma into her arms. "She is the one I've chosen for you and I will accept no one else as my daughter-in-law," she dropped her ultimatum.

Aldrin sighed. Once again his mother reminded him of why he stopped staying in touch with her. It was his life, he would be the one to stay with the woman and not her. Yet she was adamant about reminding him that despite it being his life, she was in control of it.

It suffocated him.

Eisha glanced at Aldrin and noted the change in his body. He had stiffened anf his breathing was slowing down. She slowly and steadily walked back to him and hugged him.

Aldrin closed his eyes, his thoughts took him back to that accident. His breathing was becoming heavy. His body slightly trembled in her hold, he was losing the light. Being sucked back into the darkness.

His emotions were out of control, Eisha leaned her head on his shoulder, she wanted to ease his pain and hurt the women there for hurting him.

At her thoughts, a faint blue light gleamed in her hands that were wrapped behind his back. The negative feelings that he was feeling evaporated from his body into the air.

Aldrin started feeling lighter. He wrapped his arms around her tightly, his answered prayer. His shield, to protect him from all the pains the world had to offer him.

He would be lost without her, Eisha exhaled the breath she didn't know she was holding, feeling him loosen up under her touch. Returning to his normal self.

She felt glad to know she could help him with a simple hug. She can't realize the new power that she had showcased at that moment.

The three women in the room watched them bewildered. Aldrin anf Eisha acted as though they weren't in the room with them. It annoyed them.

"She is my woman," Aldrin confessed his eyes staring daggers at his mother. "Whether you accept her or not doesn't matter to me. She isn't going anywhere," he claimed firmly.

Eisha opened her eyes and broke the hug. His tone was calm but demanding, enough to send an electric shiver down her spine. She locked eyes with him, biting her lower lip, trying her best to contain a whimper.

Aldrin raises his hand and caresses her cheek, a lump slowly forms in Eisha's throat as she feels touched by his simple gesture to her.

"We came here to shop, if you are done with your business you can leave," he spike out not looking away from Eisha.

Mrs. Marivaldi froze. Everything that happened shocked her. She couldn't react, her son was taking an initiative with a woman and he was going against her for the girl.

It was unacceptable.
