When The Sky Falls

Rattle... Rattle...

I woke up in the middle of the night to an earthquake.

"What... What's happening?"

I wiped my crusty sleepy eyes and turned to the small window next to my bed. I looked across the night sky as a beautiful shine of pink stardust spread across the atmosphere. Like a rainfall of colors and sparks.

"Is that the Aurora Borealis?" I asked myself, mesmerized by this phenomenon in the sky.

I immediately jumped out of my shaking bed and ran toward my closet to get my binoculars. I equipped them to my irritable eyes and looked closer. I looked at the falling stardust, as it spread across the atmosphere, across the horizon. It was beautiful. But as I looked closer I started to notice a shining white dot that led the pack. I watched as the pink and purple glitter spread from its plummeting end. I watched as it drew closer to the earth. With every waking second. I watched as it plummeted, faster and faster, closer and closer. The ground shook more and more.

I looked across the town, across the entire area.

"What is happening?"

The entire neighborhood exploded into lights. One after the other, houses were turning on as families awoke to the earthquake and stunning sky.

What is that? That white star?

I zoomed in using my binoculars and noticed that the white star at the head of the star-lit pack was actually getting closer to our town.

Wait, this is getting really close...

Wait this is way too close-

Smash!

It slammed directly into the mountain. I turned with my binoculars. I noticed that it was right next to the factory.

What was that?

I got up from my bed. I looked at where it landed. The pillar of smoke. I suddenly noticed that the earthquake ended once the white star hit our town.

"Oh my god... Oh my god... Mike's gonna love this! It's an asteroid! Holy shit holy shit! I have to get it!"

I immediately ran to my dresser and pulled out any clothes that could fit. I then pulled on my slippers and opened up my window.

"He's gonna be so impressed when I show him this."

I climbed out of my window and descended down the small overhanging lip leading to my driveway.

I don't have much time. Once the sky settles down then I'll lose light, and I could then lose the asteroid.

I looked around my driveway and noticed my old rusted bike from three years ago.

It'll have to work.

I got on and blasted down the road.

I have to go fast! Fast! Fast! Fast!

I biked as fast as I could. I biked the whole way. Past the long road of houses, past the long bridge, past the school, past the police station, and hospital. After twenty minutes of biking, I eventually reached the long road leading up the mountain to the factory.

I looked at the still smoking impact zone. At the still sparkling sky. As the red and pink and purple stardust rain fell across the world.

I don't have much time. All I have to do is go through the woods...

I looked into the woods. Tree-lined darkness. Bushes and spiky vines. An abyss of darkness.

But I'm no wuss! I'm no pussy! I can do this! I can do this! I can... I can't... I can't do this...

I don't have the energy, the resolve. I can't ask out Sophia. I can't get a girlfriend like everyone else in my grade. I have mediocre grades. I have a mediocre family. A mediocre dream. I am just a normal guy.

I turned my bike around.

I'm just a normal guy, in an abnormal town, where nothing strange ever happens-

Fwinnnnggg!

A bright white light shined through the small gaps between the trees. It lit up the entire roadside, the entire area.

I covered my eyes as the blinding light caught me off guard.

"What is that?!"

I looked to where the smoke was, to where the light was coming from.

Is that the asteroid?

I looked closer. I looked into the forest. I stepped into the forest.

What am I doing? Why am I going in? That's dangerous, that's...

I walked through the trees, past the spiky bushes, and creepy vines.

I can't do this! I'm just a normal guy, in a slightly strange town. Nothing weird actually happens here. It's just... It's just...

I walked five minutes up the mountain. I walked along the trails. I walked past rocks. Past the small running rivers. I walked for another ten minutes before stopping at an opening in the trees.

The end of the abyss. The white light was blindingly bright. So without any vision, I stepped out into the opening-

Slip!

I had no footing. I fell. I fell down a crater. a long, deep, muddy, crater. I slipped. I fell. I stumbled. I scratched myself. I fell on myself. I reached the bottom.

I still couldn't see a thing. But I felt something in front of me. Is it an object?

I felt its smooth, skin-like texture.

It's big? Like the size of a human. And... I can't see a thing. It's really bright. What is this?

I reached across the fleshy object until I felt something. I poked it. I poked it again. It's kinda bouncy. It feels...

Suddenly the white light dissipated in an almost orgasmic explosion.

I fell back confused and slightly stunned. I wiped my sensitive eyes and looked down at the strange space object in front of me.

I looked down at the objec- The obje- Obje- Ummm... That's no object. That's not an object! That's... That's a...

That's a naked girl!

I laid on my back as the girl woke up. Her naked pale body. With long white hair, long white eye lashes, and stunning white eyes. She looked at me. I looked at her. She looked at the sparkling sky. She looked at the crater. At the dirt. She turned back to me again.

"Excuse me, but what planet is this?"
