Ch 41 - Results

"Well, you are an anomaly when it comes to magic but poor in terms of common sense," Ralph says.

"Most of what I told you, you probably could have figured out yourself and if you wanted to ask impossible questions I would have answered them without needed anything from you."

"But if that's how you wanted to waste your questions so be it. I held up my end of the deal."

"Are you ready to go back home now?" He asks.

"No," I reply.

Startling Ralph with my answer he repeats, "No?"

"No, you can go back home, but now that I can use the spell I want to start melting the Vonite," I say.

"Huh… whatever, do what you want," He responds before turning around and leaving.

After waiting for a couple of moments to make absolutely sure that he left I shout, "NO FUCKING WAY!"

As I already tested earlier today I couldn't get the mana to cooperate with each other. No matter what I did they refused to join together.

Which according to Ralph only leaves one option.

It seems that I don't have all the information about being able to see mana.

Because looking around the room it seems just like any other room there is nothing special about it.

But according to the guard and from my previous experiences, I am able to see mana. Yet, how come I can't see the mana that Ralph claims to be all around us?

This then means that one of them has to be wrong.

Because as soon as I think about mana I can see it in front of me and just looking at my hands and feet I can see the mana from the force field wrapped around me.

Then this must mean that Ralph is wrong and that mana is not everywhere. But that doesn't make sense because all of Ralph's points back up the idea that mana is all over.

And if that's true, then I can't see all mana.

So what's the difference between the mana that I can see, then the mana I can't?

"THAT'S IT!" I say finally understanding.

Completion.

That's the difference.

Ralph said that we borrow mana from the things around us.

Which in turn should mean once the spell is canceled or used up the mana returns to where it previously was.

If that's true, then mana that is 'happy' and where it belongs doesn't appear to my eyes.

But mana that is 'unhappy' and is being used in a spell I am able to see.

"Holy shit," I mutter.

That explains everything. I can only see mana that's not where it belongs.

"Holy fucking shit," I now say louder.

If that's true and Ralph is right about the second option.

"YES!" I scream.

I. CAN. CREATE. MANA.

When I think about mana it appears and I am able to see it. Which means that it shouldn't be there. Which in turn means that I really am an abomination that can disrupt the world's mana intake.

If I can create endless amounts of mana everywhere and whenever I want, would that not mean that Ralph is right and I am the world itself?

Every spell I've pretty much ever made has been through my imagination meaning that all those spells were created from mana I myself made.

That means I'm a walking living infinite battery for magic.

And there is only one way to find out of this is true.

I'm just overcomplicating everything.

Instead of moving the mana around and forcing it to be a spell, I'll just do this.

*foom*

'It works, it works? IT works! IT WORKSSSS!!!'

In my palm sat the same spell that Ralph had previously shown me and I just recently created. But this time I didn't move my hands nor speak a single word.

As I was saying instead of forcing the mana to move, I just created the mana in the exact place that it needed to be for the spell to form.

Now with this new achievement, all my plans change.

Because of this not only am I able to create spells of my own accord I can copy instantly any spell that I see someone else use.

But of course, I can't just create a nuclear bomb because just like with the flamethrower there seems to be some law that I am forced to abide by.

There is some kind of condition or something that must be needed in order for a spell to come to life.

And now that I think about it this was always true. Because I can't use other elemental spells with different elements.

For example, the wind blades that I create can't be done with earth magic.

Then for all the other spells, I've ever cast besides the flamethrower I'm just going to assume I got lucky and had that mystery requirement.

Them being like, the darkness ball.

'Wait!' The requirement.

King Arkin the fairy blessed me with his inheritance and because of that, I am able to do all kinds of unique things with wind magic. Such as creating the force fields as well as have better movement with flight once I learn how to use it.

It seems that whatever this requirement is can be given through inheritances.

Ralph mocked me for asking those questions earlier but what he thought to be nonsense just completely changed my world for the better.

Now for the final test.

If I can do this I will know for a fact that at some point in the future the world will be in my hands.

Thus, thanks to my memory I look back on the first time I met Luke and when he erupted into flames as well as the time when he saved the fatty.

Yet this time I could see the mana wrap around him before forming and completing the spell.

'This is it,' I say as I prepare to see if world domination is in my future.

*BOOM*

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!" I laugh loud enough to shake the room.

Flames erupt and surround me before forming and completing.

Then, there standing in the underground room I had just copied someone else's spell without having to learn or practice it.
