1 (Darth Sidious, Sith.)

Chapter one:

Palpatine paced the floor angrily, waiting to hear something from his apprentice Darth Maul. He had sent him on a mission to eliminate Jedi Master Qui- Gon Jinn and his apprentice Obi-wan Kenobi. A sudden knock on his door interrupted his pacing.

What? He cried irritably.

A robotic voice answered, Sir, I have a message about your apprentice Darth Maul.

Come in, Sidious applied, anxious to hear something about Darth Maul's mission. The droid entered and stopped a few feet away.

Sir, Darth Maul successfully killed Qui- Gon Jinn but was taken out by Obi- Wan Kenobi. Palpatine collapsed in a chair. Darth Maul one of the greatest Sith ever alive, was dead? A taken out by a Padawan nevertheless! Palpatine called out to the Force, letting his anger and hate for the Jedi grow. He will have revenge.

You may go now. Palpatine growled at the droid. Now, he needed a new apprentice. The only problem is that it takes years to find and train an apprentice. Palpatine reached out with the Force, searching. Maybe... just maybe he could find someone.

A dark force suddenly appeared, nearly knocking Palpatine over with it's incredible strength and power. Palpatine snapped his eyes open, savoring the dark power that lingered in his mind. That person would be his apprentice and that person would be the most powerful Sith ever, perhaps even more powerful than himself... Palpatine had to find this person, so he could gain complete control of the Republic. At last, Palpatine will have his revenge.
