What I like about Drallig's lessons is... the speed with which it comes out. You learn something new every lesson. The reinforcement was there, too, but usually in sparring or in pairs. That is, you learned a punch, learned a block, chose a partner and let's beat each other. With this particular punch, defending yourself with this block. At first I thought that would not be enough, but the learning process was so cleverly structured that we were not just practicing the movements, but immediately built them into our general knowledge. And that's just what I was able to grasp, but how many other nuances were there? I don't know. But Drallig was a really cool teacher.

At this lesson, with a pleased look on his face, the white-haired mentor said that in a couple of months I would be ready to learn other Forms. Technically. Practically, I would be chased around with Shi-Cho for a while longer. But I didn't care about the second part of his statement, as long as I was done with the first Form this year.

Today we studied transitions from one movement to another, which turned out to be... more than I thought. However, here, too, I think Shi-Cho's weakness showed up. After all, all these transitions were rigidly fixed, which, despite their number, seems to me to be a downside. I still remember that mountain of videos about Kadochnikoff's system that I watched in a previous life, and there positioned the naturalness of the movements depending on the situation. I don't have a good idea of the martial arts of my world, maybe I'm wrong, but with the number of races in the DDG and therefore different physiology, clearly prescribed movements are not a good thing.

At the end of the class, as always, we had duels with random opponents. More precisely with those who are chosen by Drallig. Today I got a ten year old boy, who quickly took me out with a score of four to one. Which isn't bad, considering he blew me away seven classes ago.

After class, instead of going to practice controlling the Force, I went to the general fencing room, where the girls were supposed to be waiting for me. Six girls. Two of them were determined by gender, and four by belief.

I got there about fifteen minutes before my deadline, but the kids were already there, which was no surprise. When I entered the hall, two little brats were chasing four kids who were trying to oppose them on one of the courts. You know, I felt kind of bad for them. Two little bitches, sensing their power, chased away guys who could do nothing to them. At this point, they are weaker physically, less knowledgeable, have little experience, but as far as I can see, they don't give up trying to do anything. And these little buggers are just taunting and teasing.

Shouldn't the boys start pulling up fencing, too? What's the point? A year's difference. You can see it now, but by the time they become adolescents it will be negligible, if not erased altogether. Plus Order 66. Ugh, don't think, Lex, just don't think.... No, but I'll get them up to speed in fencing, I'll find the time.

- Sha, teletubbies! Let's finish," I said, raising my voice.

- Rayne! - the togrita exclaimed. - Did you see how we did it?

So busy playing around, they didn't even see me? I didn't go up to them first, I picked up the hilt of my sword and walked right past them on my way to it.

- You kids," Joss snorted contemptuously.

- Oh, you're grown-up, wise Jedi, are you? - I smiled. - Well, why don't you show little me how to sword?

- Ha, sure! - The cavernous Jedi grinned.

- A... Joss... - ...tugged at her shoulder Ahsoka.

- What?

- Mmmm... - Heh, there's nothing to say. That's what they came here for. - No, nothing," the girl muttered. - "Be careful.

- I will, I will," the shaw wagged her tail, and activated her sword again. After her sword activated and Ahsoka.

They attacked in sync, but they were both far from Talir, so I was not fighting a pair of opponents, but two separate personalities. Which, to be fair, weren't very good. I kicked the shava's legs and blocked the toggruta's kick from above, so I took a step to the side, letting Joss take a side kick to the body. Except I wasn't there, and I was still holding Ahsoka's sword, so the shava's lunge hit her friend's side.

Groaning and bending slightly, Ahsoka received another glancing blow from me, this time to her shoulder. As I kept moving, I turned ninety degrees, swung the sword upward across Joss's chest as she hesitated. And then down on her leg, forcing her to her knees.

- That's it? That's all the older girls can do? - I said, holding my blade to the neck of the shava. - Where's the strength, the dexterity, the taunting, the teasing? You disappoint me somehow. All right," I paced back a few paces, "I'll give you one more chance.

- That's it, Dacari, you've made me angry," growled the shava.

- Yeah?" I raised my eyebrows. - Hmm. Turns out the guys are a lot more Jedi. Or did they tell you the same thing when you mocked them?

- We weren't mocking! - Ahsoka exclaimed.

- The denial of their actions. An unwillingness to look at them critically," I nodded. - How very dark.

- "We're not dark," Joss said. But she sounded unsteady.

- Well, attack then," I said with my sword out. - Let's see who you are.

- Uh.

- Go ahead, don't be afraid. The sword, it turns on quickly.

Shi-Cho, how predictable it is. Dodging the first attacks by letting the girls pass by wasn't hard at all. Neither was turning on the sword for a moment, slamming the blade on Ahsoka's ass.

Here the brats turned to face me. Ahsoka rubs her ass and frowns. Joss is just frowning.

- Turn on your sword," she tossed.

- Why? - I was surprised at the display. - I can handle you great Jedi girls just fine.

But Togruta did not say anything and jumped from the spot, making a considerable jump for her age. But she had a bad balance, which I proved by taking two steps and putting the blade between her ankles.

- Ouch!" she flew backwards.

I turned a hundred and eighty degrees and ducked and let the blade pass over me, shoving mine right into her belly. And I gave the bent girl a little nudge, so that she could join her friend.

- It's pathetic," I said as I looked at the fallen girls.

- Rein, why are you so angry," Ahsoka whimpered.

- Me? Angry? You're wrong, Tano, I'm perfectly calm.

- Well, Rain...

- Stand up," I interrupted her. - And show me what the older generation is capable of.

- "What are you... - said Ahsoka, reluctantly standing up and helping Joss up. - Rain.... What have we done?

How? We made fun of the boys, mocked them, and didn't even understand what was wrong with it? So, when you smell strength, you can kick them in the back, but when someone stronger comes, we're just poor little girls?

I used my telekinesis to send the hilt of my sword back to its rightful place among the similarly derelict swords.

- The training is over. Until you realize your guilt, stay away from me. - And he turned to the boys, who were crowding around the corner, and asked them: - I'm going to practice my Power moves now, are you coming with me?

- I'll go with you," Ramah said.

- I'm in! - Sam.

- Why not? - Palatt shrugged.

- Maybe it's for the best," said Jiro uncertainly.

- Then let's get the handles down," I finished.

I hadn't seen Ahsoka since then, or her friend, for that matter, for two weeks. I don't know what was going on in her head, maybe resentment, maybe pride, maybe something else, but for two weeks I didn't have to get anyone off my bed. Two weeks later, when I returned to my room after training, I found two bodies sleeping across the bed in the fetal position.

Since Rama and Palatte were already asleep, I didn't wake them up with my voice, but went over and lightly tapped the foot of the bed. It didn't help. I rubbed their shoulders and had the pleasure of seeing the girls' faces, sleepy and uncomprehending. Jiro and Sam, reading something on their datapads, glanced at me only once, going back to their business, while I put my finger to my lips, which in this universe meant silence, beckoned toward the door.

- Go back to sleep," I said to the rubbing children as I stepped out into the hallway.

- We came to apologize, Rayne," Ahsoka said. - Forgive us, eh?

- We acted unworthy of the Jedi when we mocked the boys," Joss interjected, hanging her head.

- "Well, what's that got to do with me? You apologize to them.

- So we've already... - Ahsoka glanced at the door, "We apologized. But we're all friends, so we should apologize to you, too.

- You should go to bed, - I repeated, massaging the bridge of my nose. - And I should go to bed, too.

- So you forgive us? - Ahsoka asked, trying to catch my gaze.

- Yes, yes, I forgive you. Go now.

- Thank you," Togruta hugged me impetuously, and picked up her friend and skipped away.

I hope I hadn't forgiven them so quickly, and that this wouldn't happen again. In fact, it's better this way. I don't know anything about parenting, and I could only make it worse. I shouldn't have snapped back then.... What am I talking about? Exactly, that I snapped. So it was a mistake, not a mistake, it's not about my case.... Okay, I'm going to go to bed or something.
