68 Chapter 68

"So I based it off of the local Flit, Kimogila, Lava Slugs, and Kusak. 30/50/10/10 split genetics wise. The Flit gives it its sharp beak and flying capabilities, while the Kimogila gives it a powerful body that is very resistant to damage and the large size I predict it will grow to. The other two were to increase heat resistance and loyalty to the owner but I didn't expect it to develop an internal volcanic system. Made it a little difficult to give him away. But anyway, I call it Titanus Rodan," Seviss told everyone who was upside down from his point of view

The Sith had been working in his lab when he suddenly felt a cord tighten around his legs while his world began to spin. He was already prepared for this to happen so instead of panicking and fighting back, he immediately went into his explanation without even having to see who his attackers were

"So you gave my daughter a creature that is pretty much a living volcano?" Kevan asked while his vibroblade... well vibrated in his hands

"Not just that. But you gave our daughter a creature that is a living volcano that has over 50 percent of its biology coming from the 2 most venomous creatures on the planet?" Boxe questioned while cleaning her blaster with a rag. Flits and Kimogila both had very deadly venom. 

"And did you call it Titanus Rodan? As in giant? How big do you expect this thing you gave a child to get?" Suxon caught on to another very important point that the others had missed

"Um... probably around 30 meters tall and about a 170-meter wingspan. Depends how much radiation it gets," Seviss thought about the answer while scratching his chin. These were estimates he based on the initial DNA and data that he got so he couldn't be 100% sure. But everyone else caught onto the very important word that he had just skipped over. 

"Radiation?!?!" they all shouted at the same time. The size was already an issue but Seviss bringing up radiation made the group ready to directly kill him

"Explain. Now!" Jial's eyes were practically spitting out flames when he heard what Seviss said

"Um...," Seviss seemed to have finally come out of his researcher mindset and entered a normal-person mindset to understand that he was in danger. "Well, that's how I designed them to limit its growth but also allow it to rapidly grow. Like rapid evolution on a personal level. The radiation it uses is the Force, not traditional. The stronger the Force around it or when it is fed Force objects/energy, the faster it grows and evolves. Though regular radiation helps too."

Luckily for Seviss, he was a Trandoshan. They had the ability to regenerate limbs and he needed it after the 5 were done with him. He was also taken off the list of officers available for missions due to how badly they beat and tortured him for his actions. 

"How about letting me take the little thing for a week? I can help it grow to its full height during that time and also see just how dangerous it can be. If it is too dangerous, I can kill it and tell Lilo that it ran away," Jial offered, remembering that he still had the ability to use the Hyperbolic Time Chamber for a week

"How? I assume another one of your mysterious methods," Mira asked, wondering how her Master would surprise her. She walked with her hands behind her back with her eyes focused on Jial. 

"Time chamber that accelerates time in it. Every day out here is a year in there and I can stay in for up to 7 years," Jial told them

"I wanna go in!" Boxe and Mira shouted. They were both thinking that they could bring in their troops and train them at an accelerated rate. 

"We can bring in Lilo and spend some time with her in there," Boxe said the Kevan, thinking about how they could help their daughter get through her tough years of being alone while also getting her ready for her first battle.

"My love, you forget why Lord Jial is using it in the first place. What if the creature turns out to be dangerous and he needs to kill it?" Kevan reminded her cautiously. He also wanted their daughter to grow up a little faster so she didn't have to worry about friends as much but they still needed to test Dral.

"She needs to learn herself. If something is truly too dangerous, then that means it must be killed. And if she spends time in there with us, she will be 14 and old enough to know better," Boxe did not give in and even gave a few good points herself.

She really wanted to bring her daughter inside and experience the miracles that Jial brought forth as well as spend time with her. But the most important thing is that she knew just how important it was for Lilo to understand Dral's true nature. Kevan and Jial wanted to protect her but she knew that the little girl must learn herself that she couldn't just carelessly accept any pet that caught her interest.

Unfortunately for Mira and Boxe, the Hyperbolic Time Chamber had a limit on the number of individuals that could enter at once. So the two who wanted to bring in their entire armies to speed train them were disappointed. So they each only brought 2 officers under them.

The 10 who entered ended up being Mira, Boxe, Lilo, Kevan, Dral, Jial, and the 4 officers that they wanted to bring inside. The small group entered the chamber on the moon where Jial had his secret lab along with several boxes of Lightsaber Crystals of various types.

The group was surprised by the sheer size of the place as well as all of the settings that they could alter. But Jial kept it locked into a rocky mountain environment that wasn't too high up. This provided decent spaces to train as well as great flight training. It was perfect for Lilo who had no experience with intense training and Dral who was supposed to grow into a giant. 

"You guys can do whatever you want. That door is locked for the next 7 years so get used to each other. Food is there and beds are through either of those doors," Jial gave them the basic layout while Dral made some chirping noises from his shoulder. "Me and the little one are heading off now."

Jial did not even wait for them to respond before he rushed up the mountain with a crate of Lightsaber Crystals tucked under one of his shoulders while a volcanic creature rode on his other one.
