67 Chapter 67

While Nott was off on Korriban, Jial spent time with his other apprentice/daughter, Mira. Which meant he was also spending time with the Mandalorians. The Mandalorians had seamlessly folded into the Astartes armies, each joining a different group.

Mira named her group the Crusaders based on the original Mandalorian armies and decorated all their armor red. Boxe named her members the Neo-Crusaders after the next group that nearly destroyed the Republic with their blue armor and Suxon named his forces the Rallymasters, a rank amongst the Neo-Crusaders, and gave them gold armor.

When he first came across them, they were having a 3-way battle among their forces. Dozens of individuals covered in red, blue, and gold armor were on the field and beating each other senselessly with various training blades. At first, it may have started as actual training but to Jial, it looked like nothing more than a brawl that had broken out.

Jial looked up to where the commanders were and saw the 3 leaders doing exactly as he had expected. Suxon was giving orders for them to break it up, Mira was telling her members where she saw openings, and Boxe was being held back by two of her officers from jumping down and joining the fray.

So Jial did the only logical thing.

Suxon looked on in horror as he saw several bodies flying through the air as a green body entered the sea of primary colors. Mira and Boxe both looked shocked before large smiles broke out on their faces. They both put on their masks and jumped down to join the brawl.

"Am I the only sane one?" Suxon asked the officers that remained in the booth, before realizing that it was only him. Even his own officers had gone down to join in the fight.

"Fuck it. If you can't beat 'em," Suxon put on his mask before jumping out of the booth and joining into the fray. Seeing the Primarchs and Emperor had joined in, several members decided to go straight for them for a chance for promotion. But all those that were foolish enough to try were sent flying with a couple of broken bones.

It took an hour for the brawl to finally die out after several more waves of Mandalorians jumped into the fray when they saw all the fun that was happening.

Sev'rance stood in front of the 4 leaders who were covered in wounds and bruises, not even knowing what to say.

"These are my fellow officers and my leader. I am not allowed to reprimand them and tell them that they are acting like fucking children. I can't tell them that they are supposed to set examples. I can't threaten them by saying that I will unleash the Necrons on them in the middle of the night along with a bunch of Seviss's toys and tell the Unblooded that it is a trial to scar a Mandalorian under such confusing circumstances. You are better than that Sev'rance," the woman 'thought' to herself

"Um. We could hear you," Suxon pointed out

"No, you can't. Cause if you heard that, it meant I did everything I said I couldn't do," Sev'rance replied with an evil smile

Sev'rance 'thought' a few more things to herself that caused all the Mandalorians to be worried. They didn't mind a good fight but Sev'rance was their worst enemy. Her tactics and droid army made it nearly impossible for them to beat her during training battles. They may have been the greatest warriors of the Yautja but she was the greatest tactician and strategist amongst them.

Jial looked at the troubled expressions of the others while secretly smiling under his mask. Sev'rance may have threatened them but she couldn't do anything to him. He was the one who supplied her with her army.

Once she was done with her lecture, Sev'rance walked off somewhere, probably to start getting her plan in place in case they didn't listen to her. No one could be sure with her.

"Wanna get a drink?" Boxe asked to which the others simply agreed

So the group of 4 walked back to the Boxe's home where her husband and daughter were. The little girl looked shocked when she saw everyone. She ran to grab something from a little box. And when she turned around, she was holding a blaster in her hand and pointing it at Boxe and the others. But they all had their blasters already in hand and pointed at her.

"Nice try, little one. You need to always keep a weapon within arms reach," Boxe walked over and rubbed her daughter's head before taking the toy blaster out of her hands.

"Aunty! Uncle! Grampy!" Lilo greeted everyone with a bright smile, not taking into account that she had just pulled a (toy) blaster on them

"Hello, little one," Jial greeted her before picking her up and placing her on his shoulders. The little girl held onto his head tightly with in hand while playing with his dreads in her other. Jial walked with her on his shoulder while making his way to the kitchen where Kevan, Boxe's human husband, had already pulled out the glasses and the special whiskey. Special by the fact that it was more poison than alcohol due to the powerful livers and filters within the bodies of Astartes. It was pretty much the only way they could get drunk.

"So what are we celebrating today?" Kevan asked while pouring the glasses

"A good brawl!" Jial and Mira shouted

"Getting away with doing something bad!" Boxe followed close behind them

"Surviving the wrath of Sev'rance," Suxon was sure that he was the only one who had learned his lesson from the lecture they had just received

"New friend!" Lilo shouted from Jial's shoulder, causing the other 4 adults to look at her in surprise. Most other Mandalorian kids didn't play with Lilo. Due to being the daughter of the Clan Leader, niece of the two vice-leaders, and god/granddaughter of the leader of the Yautja, she was in a special position. No one wanted to be the one that got her hurt or in trouble.

"Really? That is an even better reason to celebrate," Boxe took her daughter from Jial and placed her in her own lap. "Whose the new friend? What's their name?"

"Dral!" Lilo shouted. Just after she shouted, they heard the flapping of a creature appear in the distance. Soon, a small creature with the appearance that looked like a reptile with wings and a beak that had a belly full of lava appeared. The creature flew over a little clumsily before landing on Jial's shoulder, causing Lilo to pout.

"No fair, Grandpa! Dral is my best friend!" the little girl pouted with her arms crossed

"My bad, Sweetie. But your naming sense is awesome," Jial told her. Dral meant 'Bright' in Mando'a and his glowing belly definitely made it earn its name. But the heat that the creature was giving off was something Jial was not prepared for. If this was a fully grown version of the creature, that was fine. But if this was just a baby, it would be something she was unable to take care of sooner or later.

"Where'd you get this from, Sweetie?" Mira asked, also close enough to feel the heat. She had the same worries that Jial did.

"Mr. Seviss gave it to me. He said that he was playing with the local foona and accidentally made this. He said it looked too cute so gave it to me," Lilo told them

"Isn't that sweet? I'll have to go thank him," Boxe was ready to go and kill the Sith. He had given her daughter one of his experiments as a pet and was not even sure what it was like. The other 4 adults at the table had the same idea. Seviss had no idea that he had somehow pissed off 4 Mandalorians and a Yautja Emperor one of the few times he was trying to be nice.
