The Empire had escaped into the abyss known as the Unknown Regions, that was charted by the late Emperor's Observatory. Sloane Rae took the helm after the Death of Gallius Rax with a vision of a righteous Empire; an Empire with better policies, stratagems and a compass. She knew that leading by Terror allowed the Rebellion to form, for worlds to revolt. Warmongering, deceit, murder, corruption and more had seeded in the Empire she once admired. Destined to rid of it within the New Grand Order she was to form with the remnants whom followed her into the dark, she wished to shed the Light of Hope for their survival, an acceptance in the Dark. Rae Sloane after an attempted assassination loses the ability to procreate, to get pregnant. Her best friend died in her place. So she adopted two children of one of her closest officers and best friend Morna Kee, a daughter and son. Unnaturally attuned to the force, the children soon attract the attention of a much darker presence amongst the Imperial Crew on board the Eclipse. Can Rae bring this New Order to see her way of things? Will she be able to protect her children, Kade and Lyra Sloane? When Kade and Lyra find an ancient Jedi wreck on a remote planet in the Unknown Regions and discover a Jedi Holocron and a set of memory crystals, their fight to survive is only just the beginning.
