(The rise of a new Empress.)

Chapter fifteen:

Cale Lestin took a long look at them and said. "Have you seen any action before soldiers?" Scorch laughed. "We were seeing action before you were even thought of." Replied Scorch.

Rey smiled. "Good maybe we won't have to babysit you after all." Scorch replied. "Hey...

"That's enough bickering Deltas." Said Boss. "Yes sir." Replied the team. Kylo Ren breathed in and out for a few seconds before he said. "Rey, Cale Lestin and the Delta squad will infiltrate the compound by sea." Kylo Ren turned his head towards a shadow in the hallway. "Boba Fett you will take it by the landing docks." Said Kylo Ren.

Cale Lestin and Rey saw Boba Fett step out. He wore a rusty suit of armor and a jet pack. Cale Lestin and Rey could have mistaken Boba Fett for Darth Vader. The way they moved. Their talking. It was the same. "Wouldn't it be wiser if I were to come in from below since I know the inside?" Asked Boba Fett.

"I need your expertise later on when Rey and her apprentice Cale Lestin unlocks the doors. We will be arriving at Kamino in ten hours. I'd advise you to get the men ready Boba Fett." Said Kylo Ren. Boba Fett then walked off without saying a word. "Delta squad let us get ready to." Said Boss. When Kylo Ren, Rey and her apprentice Cale Lestin was alone, Rey asked a question that had been on her mind since Kylo Ren mentioned the mission. "Are you not going to lead the troops on the battle of Kamino Ben?" Rey asked.

"No I am entrusting that to Boba Fett and trusting you and Cale Lestin to keep an eye on him. Before the ship lands I want us to train a little more." Said Kylo Ren.

They walked into a private room where they could train and before they started Kylo Ren remembered something that Darth Plagueis had taught Emperor Palpatine.

(Tell me what you regard as your greatest strength, so I know how best to undermine you, tell me of your greatest fear, so I know which I must force you to face, tell me what you childish most, so I will know what to take from you, and tell me what you crave, so I might deny you.)

Kylo Ren turned to Rey and said to her. "If you are able to make me concede defeat I will tell you what you want to know about Anakin Skywalker." Kylo Ren could see that Rey was intrigued and then immediately become serious. "Good." Kylo Ren said to himself.

Cale Lestin and Rey Force Jumped at Kylo Ren and began slashing at him. Kylo Ren blocked every attack, but to Cale and Rey it looked as if they were driving him back. When Cale and Rey realized that they were only being allowed to slash they Force Jumped back. Maybe if they did the same thing like on Coruscant.

"You shouldn't think Rey you must act on instinct. Use your anger, only your hatred can defeat me." Said Kylo Ren. Instead of letting Cale and Rey attack, Kylo Ren began the offense. After a while Cale and Rey became exhausted. Kylo Ren then thought to himself. (Yes this is it. When all else fails she will have to use it. This is where Rey will have to employ the dark side.) "Come now, I expect more of Emperor Palpatine's granddaughter. Your acting like a Jedi and not a Sith Empress." Kylo Ren then paused. "You hate me, don't you." He said.

"No, I only hate what you've become." Replied Rey. Those words cut Kylo Ren deep. More than any wound. "Good now use that as your anger. Feel the dark side flowing through you, use it to strike me down." Said Kylo Ren. Cale Lestin then thrusted Anakin Skywalker's blue lightsaber forward. Kylo Ren quickly dodged and cut off his left hand!

Cale Lestin then began to scream in pain. "Is it necessary?" Kylo Ren asked. "Since you will not listen to me and use the dark side, this is your punishment." Said Kylo Ren.

Rey's eyes then turned from brown to a pale yellow. "How could you do that to him?" She yelled.

Rey fought through the pain of seeing her apprentice lose his left hand to make one final strike that cut off Kylo Ren's right hand and made him drop his cross guard crimson red lightsaber. She then turned around and asked Cale if he was alright before helping him up to his feet. "Yeah, I'm fine." Cale said smiling at her. Underneath his mask Kylo Ren smiled. "See what happens when you employ the dark side?" Kylo Ren asked. "Take another look at Cale's hand." Said the Knight of Ren.

Cale then looked and saw that his hand had magically reattached. "That's right I never really cut off his hand. But do you now see what I meant about the power of the dark side? If you can control it, you can become more powerful than Emperor Palpatine and Master Yoda themselves." Said Kylo Ren.

Rey then nodded her head yes. "Let's go." Said Kylo Ren. "Rey and Cale it's time for the mission." Said Kylo Ren.

The Delta squad and Cale Lestin was inside of a Imperial sub vessel and was riding through the ocean to get to the cloning building. Boss then said. "Listen up Deltas. Empress Rey Palpatine and her apprentice Cale Lestin is our field Commanders, I expect you to follow their orders just as if it came from Kylo Ren himself."

"How could a little girl be caught up in this battle?" Asked Sev. "I don't know." Said Fixer. "But she had already killed more than her share of people." Replied Fixer. Rey could hear them speaking about her in the background but she didn't care. As Cale Lestin took his hand in her's and rested his head on Rey's shoulder, and Rey did the same to his.

As Rey was worried about her new goal in life. Trying to bring Ben Solo back from whatever he had become. Kylo Ren was only apart of his real identity.

Rey would have to help heal the wounds of his mind to make him turn back to the light side of the Force. Another thing came in her mind. "Why wasn't she seduced by the dark side?

As many times as she used it, why hadn't she totally been turned. Maybe it was because she was Emperor Palpatine's granddaughter or that she was the Chosen One. Rey didn't want to use the dark side any more. It made her feel sick.

From here on out Rey would try her best not to kill anyone except when there was no other choice. "Instead of becoming a Sith Empress she would train herself as a Jedi Master. She could access the documents that the Jedi temple owned and could learn from them. Then when she destroyed Emperor Palpatine and the Final Order she could save Ben Solo from what he had become.

She could turn him back to the light side of the Force. Rey just hoped that Cale wouldn't hate her because of this, as he was steady sleeping on her shoulder.

Rey then snapped out of her daydream when Boss said. "All right Delta squad let's form up and subdue that compound."
