They're Here!

Xytan could barely sleep on this day and ended up awakening earlier than expected. He always found himself looking at the time. However, this attack wouldn't happen until nighttime tomorrow.

So, he went back to sleep through the night until the morning.

It was...that day!

Xytan got out of bed and did his daily morning routine, his last morning routine ever in this place. He wasn't very enthusiastic about knowing what was to come, but he had been planning for this.

There wasn't class today for any of the Younglings, it was a free day today. Xytan had managed to speak to Jocasta yesterday, he simply told her that the end was near, in a gloomy tone. He wanted to speak to her weeks before, but he had nothing to tell anymore since he got to her too late.

Xytan walked off after saying that, which made things seem weird to Tera Sinube at the time.

He wasn't feeling very hungry now, he just stayed in his room alone. Xytan had exactly 57,000 system points to work with now. He kept scrolling through the system, checking every part from high to low.

Time passed, hours went by in a flash. Xytan went back to sleep, he didn't feel like interacting with anyone right now. In no time, 5 hours were already gone and passed, thus, his stomach was growing anxious.

Xytan was planning to fight the feeling of hunger, but he received a knock at the door. Gazing at the door, he already knew who it was. Xytan got up and opened the door for his visitor, Viola.

Viola was carrying a tray of food, much to Xytan's surprise.

"It's everything you usually get." She appeared with the typical scrambled Orobird eggs, some steak-like meat, and some juice. There was even dessert on the plate. Viola noticed that Xytan had never left his room. When she visited earlier, there was no response, so she assumed he was asleep.

"How did you get this lunch and how did you sneak it out of the cafeteria?" Xytan was dumbfounded at the sight.

"It was because of Master Ti, she allowed it to happen. She said it was okay for me to bring your food to you, so I was given the green light to pass through." Viola smiled and held her head high with pride.

"Thanks!" Xytan took the tray and invited Viola in. Without hesitation, he started eating as if he hadn't eaten in forever. Viola made sure to have his signature water bottle on the tray as well, as Xytan always drunk one after.

The 2 just chatted for hours on in. Xytan needed to make sure Jin was with him at that time. He strictly told Jin to meet him at a certain place and time today.

Xytan and Viola didn't train, they just played card games during these hours. Afterward, they had little spares but nothing serious, obviously. Then the night finally came, it seemed darker than usual, and it was raining hard for some reason.

Xytan took a deep breath and saw that it was only an hour before the attack on the temple!

"Viola, you leave first, I'll meet you near the lunchroom in 40 minutes where Jin will meet us." Xytan hurriedly and stood up.

"Huh? Uh, okay." Viola nodded strangely, she had long since noticed that Xytan was acting differently. She wanted to ask what was wrong, but she figured it wouldn't be the best time.

Once she was gone, Xytan immediately turned to the system. He had the Entities he wanted to buy inside of a cart—if you would call it that.

Spartan 2s cost 25,000 system points, but they would cost more than 4's if they had the same upgradeable armor as them. Spartan 2's were better trained, mature, and not arrogant like their 4 counterparts.

First, Xytan checked out both Spartan 2's. With the 30% discount, the total came up to 35,000 system points! Xytan had already customized the coloration of their armor and what type they would wear.

These numbers came across his screen, then he was instructed to point towards an empty space to summon them. This showed that he didn't have to summon them if he didn't want to, instead, he could wait until later.

Pointing at an empty space, he spawned the both of them simultaneously.

Two tall figures around 7'0 to 7'2 rose up from the light with their weapons in hand. They came with these weapons by default, it was the Assault Rifle and a Magnum sidearm.

One of the Spartans wore a full set of Hayabusa Armor from Halo 3. The other Spartan wore a full set of Recon Armor from Halo 3, this armor was hard to get acquire back in those days.

The Spartan wearing the Hayabusa armor set had red as a primary and gray as a secondary. The Recon armor set Spartan had blue as a primary and gray as a secondary. So most parts of their armor were red and blue, while small parts showed grey.

"Ready for duty, Commander!" Both spoke in succession, giving a brief salute to Xytan.

"Perfect, there's a dire situation coming up soon. This whole temple will be under attack and I need your help in escape from here. There are many more that I want to be evacuated as well; live or die, this is the situation."

"How many enemies are talking here, do you have an exact number? Or a possible estimate?" The Recon Armored Spartan questioned. Xytan found their heights to be too astonishing, they were basketball player size in his mind.

"Yes, there will be exactly 501, but technically 502, which will be their leader. The soldiers attacking shouldn't be a problem for you guys, but their leader can't be trifled with." Xytan was referring to Anakin, of course, it was best to not engage him if they could.

"Hmm...do we have any backup on standby or any waiting to rendezvous with us?" Hayabusa also spoke, his voice calm and ready for anything.

"Yes, we have some people on standby, they'll come at the appointed time to get us out." Xytan made sure to quickly fill them in on everything.

"Jedi? Never heard of them." Recon didn't ponder on it for long, he couldn't be concerned about that now.

"To evacuate people, we'll need more than just us. We'll need a squad and some equipment for a task like this." Hayabusa said. Spartans usually went on assault missions, not rescue missions but this didn't mean they weren't sent on them.

"I got weapons and equipment, check them out." Xytan crouched down and started pulling out everything he accumulated over this time period.

The two Spartans quickly took a step forward and opened the boxes to discover many useful and familiar things to them.

"Battle Rifle? Now, that's my type of weapon." Recon picked the weapon up, taking aim and showing his familiarity with it.

"A Covenant Plasma Rifle? Not bad." Hayabusa did like the Battle Rifle, but the Plasma Rifle was more destructive.

They both opened the boxes filled with different types of Grenades. Splinter, Plasma, Frag, Pulse, and Spike Grenades. The Spike Grenades had a slightly bigger box due to the actual size of the grenades.

While they were doing that, Xytan looked back at the system. A-1 just stood on the chair doing nothing, its eyes had lost their light—indicating that it was currently deactivated.

Xytan proceeded to summon Purge Troopers in an empty space within the room. They cost 1,100 system points each but the Blaster Rifle Purge Troopers cost less—with them being 900 each. Xytan summoned 5 Blaster Rifle Purge Troopers, and 1 Electrobaton Purge Trooper.

All of this cost him 5,600 system points but with the 30% discount, it was 3,920 system points.

They, of course, looked a bit different from the Empire variant. The symbol of the Empire, that was placed on their shoulders was morphed into a different symbol. They still wore black, but the bits of red they wore was changed into purple. The biggest change was their helmets, they wore the Recon helmet from Mass Effect 2.

Their visor eye sockets seemed to radiate purple light, which would easily be noticeable at night or in any dark place. Xytan thought about summoning Sky Troopers, but he decided otherwise by this point.

"Sir!" The Purge Troopers spoke and saluted Xytan right away.

"Good, good, at ease fellas. These two are your commanding officers, they'll be handing out your orders for this mission." Xytan smiled and pointed towards the 2 Spartans, who were still rambled through the boxes.

"Sir, request to be filled in on our objective." The Electrobaton Purge Trooper asked respectfully. Hayabusa nodded without saying yes or no before telling the 6 of them everything.

"Whoaa! My Electrobatons won't be enough, I need a ranged weapon—a blaster."

"Al'cade, you hand him your Battle Rifle, I have something else for you." Xytan turned to the Spartan wearing Recon armor and said.

"Al'cade? Is that my name?" Seeing Xytan's gaze, he exclaimed.

"Yes, that's your name from now on. And your name will be Es'cade." Xytan's eyes landed on the Hayabusa armored Spartan.

"Sounds good to me." He replied indifferently.

"Catch." Al'cade tossed the Battle Rifle to the Electrobaton Trooper without hesitation. Afterward, Xytan accessed the system and summoned a weapon as his replacement.

It cost 5,000 system points but with the discount, it lowered. The weapon was the M739 Light Machine Gun, or better known as the SAW.

Al'cade nodded and picked the weapon up with satisfaction, though he didn't show this feeling. He attached two ammo round drums for the SAW to each side of his waist for later use.

"What are these?" One of the Purge Troopers walked over to pick up a Plasma grenade.

"Hold it!" Al'cade said.

"Stay your hand!" Es'cade said.

"Don't touch that! Xytan said.

The Purge Trooper Froze and retracted his hand before saying that he was sorry.

"Careful. Those are Plasma Grenades, I'll show you how to use them." Al'cade spoke calmly. All the while, Es'cade was checking out the Predator Laser Mines—something he had never seen before.

Xytan gave a brief explanation about the weapons, then Es'cade decided to look at the instructions. Both Spartans instantly understood how to use the Laser Mines right away.

Xytan told them to wait here, and not to open the door for anyone. Don't even answer the door if someone starts to knock on it.

Xytan ran over to where he was supposed to meet Viola and Jin. Once he was there, he saw both of them talking to each other happily about something.

"Ah, Xytan!" Jin was first to spot him.

"Yo, guys, you need to come with, now." Xytan waved them over to follow him. Xytan spoke in a rushing manner, but they didn't seem to notice and followed him anyway.

There were fifteen minutes left before it happened. Xytan knocked on Shaak Ti's room door and she opened it soon after.

"You've come to train some more, that's good. Your technique has impr..."

"The day has come, Master Shaak Ti, the end of the order! It's time for us to go, and you need to gather the Younglings, fast!" Before she could finish, she was interrupted.

Shaak Ti's eyes widened, she was meditating before this. She believed Xytan and acted by gathering the Younglings as quickly as possible, including many Jedi Knights and Masters. There were too many Younglings, there were about a hundred of them, maybe more!

"Ugh! This is going to get ugly!" Xytan began to meditate before he sent out an alert to Every Jedi. Showing them how they would die if they didn't act quickly. This meant Plo Koon, Aayla Secura, Ki-Adi Mundi, Yoda, and more.

This direct Force Vision stunned many Jedi for a moment. It clearly showed that they would be killed by the Clones they were with! Of all these Jedi, some started moving right away, while most didn't believe it.

Xytan couldn't convince them all.

There were five minutes left, so he ran to his room while Shaak Ti was calling out to him to stay.

Viola and Jin got up and ran after him.

Shaak Ti had gathered many Knights and Masters in the main temple area, where the fighting had taken place in the movie back then. She couldn't gather them all in the short period of time she had. They were all confused as to why she had gathered them, but she said she would explain later.

"Let's go guys, it's time!" He opened his door and could see that everyone was geared up and ready to go. Xytan activated A-1 and grabbed the Holocron from beneath his bed.

The Spartans and Purge Troopers followed Xytan from behind. Viola and Jin finally caught up, and they were shocked upon seeing these Troopers behind him—where did they come from?!

"X-Xytan... w-who are they?" Jin's eyes dilated seeing how intimidating they looked.

"Get over here, kid!" Right as Jin was asking—a Spartan hollered out. Xytan acted quickly and pulled both of them over with the force!

Suddenly, that area was lit up with Blaster fire!

"They're here!" Xytan gulped and helped the two up.

"Surround them, kill anyone on sight!" A muffled voice commanded.
