Chapter 7 - Ryan and Ashana Kallig: Children of the emperor

19 years ago....

"Empress, you said us and three others held the fate of the empire, who are the three others?" Anakin asked

"I will get to that in a moment, we have bigger problems, Odile Vaiken has somehow slipped passed our security and taken the star forge, however this was suspected, what he wasn't counting on was the fact we have three galaxies under our control, as we speak all three fleets are converging and heading here. Now for the other news. Nox, Nine would you like to tell them?" Delilah said

"Yes, Rylee and Ashara are carrying with my Legacy in their wombs." Nox said to the pair

During the battle of Corellia, Rylee and Ashara had the babies at the same time, they then rested. Years ago Xalek promised Nox he would guard his legacy and now was the time, when it came time they would enter the academy and Xalek would train them. Immediately after the battle, Darth Bloodlust, Shan, Xalek, and Wrath traveled to the Korriban Academy to reorganize the overseers, upon reaching their they marched up the stairway and were greeted by assistant overseer Loun and Markan.

"Lord Wrath, it's a pleasure to see you have returned to Korriban."

Drawing his lightsaber he drove it through his chest

"We are longer in need of your services assistant overseer Markan." Anakin said as he reclipped his lightsaber to his belt

"Assistant overseer Loun, where is overseer Rance?" He asked turning to her

"I will call him, Rance, the wrath wishes to see you." Loun said as she pulled out her holocom

He quickly arrived and bowed before Anakin.

"Lord Wrath, what a pleasant surprise to- ugh ach huu ach."

"Rance we no longer need you either. I now promote you, Loun to head overseer of this academy." He said to Rance then Loun

"Thank you Darth Wrath, I look forward to shaping this academy how I see fit."

"Good, in a few years you will have two acolytes we require you to train until Darth Xalek is ready to take them on as his apprentices, understood head overseer Loun?" He said staring into her eyes

"Yes, Wrath understood." She said staring back into his eyes as she felt herself become a little wet but she knew he was married

"Good, now clean this up." He said as he brush his hand across her snatch she gave off a small moan

"Yees, my lord." She said as she tried to regain her composer and took care of the bodies

After both of the children were five Nox took them to the academy, Loun immediately started training them in what she knew and Xalek trained them in what he knew, both wanted different things. Ryan preferred to use force lightning and Ashana preferred a sith war blade and they may have been opposites on what they preferred but they were equals in power, every time they duel it was always a draw and Loun noted this all in her reports she wrote for the emperor.

18 years later.....

18 years ago Ashana and Ryan Kallig began their training under overseer Loun and now Darth Xalek was ready to train them himself

"Good you two are the best acolytes I have ever trained, Ashana I have seen a duelist with your skill since the empress was just a mere acolyte and Ryan I have seen someone mastered the force since the stories of you father floated around this academy, now Darth Xalek has tasked me to let you retrieve your lightsaber as it proves your worth, both of your lightsabers are in the tombs of Sorsuz Syn and Naga Sadow, Ashana, since you have dedicated yourself to the ways of a power duelist you will retrieve the derelict lightsaber and it is Naga Sadow's tomb, now go." Overseer Loun said as Ashana left

"Now Ryan, since you have studied more on the force, alchemy, and sorcery you will retrieve Sorsuz Syn's modified protosaber. She was the greatest sorceress of her time, you must retrieve it from the innermost sanctum of her tomb, now go." She said to Ryan

Deep in the tomb of Sorsuz Syn Ryan had his practice blade drawn cutting through K'lor slugs and frying the shyracks with his force lightning or just killing anything in general that was in his way, it was mostly the insane acolytes, people had been coming in here to discover her secrets but Sorsuz wasn't just an Brilliant alchemist she had rigged her tomb with all kinds of traps, but it was t the traps that killed them, something inside the tomb drove the acolytes insane, Ryan speculated it was Sorsuz herself wreaking havoc on the weak willed and dominating their minds, he could feel her in his mind now but he was stronger, in his 18 years of studying the ancient texts he learned how to block out someone who was doing this and he learned so much more, he pushed out his mind and she was impress and appeared before him.

"Good, I haven't had this much fun playing with someone in millennia, I sense you are here for my lightsaber, yes young one?"

"Yes I am dark lord, but I am no fool, you may lead me into a trap but I am more powerful than you can suspect and I can do so much more than anyone can suspect."

"You are indeed powerful, not even Ajunta had such a strong connection to the force. Ah here is my Sarcophagus."

He then broke the seal and opened it with the force and retrieved the lightsaber; activating it, it still worked after nearly three millennia, as it wasn't surprising. When the third Barsen'thor was still alive and crafted her first lightsaber, she used a lightsaber that was over 25 millennia old and it still functioned as Mandalore's daughter used it to this day, examining it from it one taller blade guard with a short one in the front and he see where it was modified from a protosaber in a modern lightsaber, the hilt was mostly corroded but he could easily refurbish the lightsaber in his sleep.

"Good you have my lightsaber now, but the one thing these mad minions once sought before being under my influence was my holocron, you can have."

"I am no fool, what do I have to do, what's the catch?"

"My child, no need for paranoia, I just simply want to see if you can kill my pet Leviathan."

"Very well Sorsuz, I accept your challenge."

She used the force to activate a statue and reveal a hidden doorway and he made his way deeper into the secret part of the tomb, finally reaching the bottom the room was felt like an arena, the room lit up and there it was, a leviathan in the flesh. Activating his lightsaber, he kept out of the way as it started to attack, but the lightsaber was ripped from his grasp and landed where Sorsuz was.

"Oh my child I forgot, to claim my holocron you must only use the force. Good luck."

He kept jumping out of the way as it kept trying to grab him and absorb his life energy, leaping on to the creatures back he used force lightning to bust open all of the creatures blister traps, the creature quickly died, moving the body he saw the holocron and took.

"Good, my child you are one the few who can claim they killed a Leviathan, here is my lightsaber, use it well. Goodbye."

Exiting the tomb he headed back to the academy, meanwhile the young Togruta, Ashana Kallig, Ryan's twin sister was carving her way through Naga Sadow's tomb and killing anyone acolyte that got in her way, reaching the the sarcophagus she broke it open and retrieved he lightsaber, activating it and twirling and examining the design and red hued blade, she knew it would suit her well. Hooking the lightsaber on her belt she could make adjustments later and returned to the academy.

Both arrived at head overseer Loun's office at this time and Darth Xalek was waiting as well.

"Ah good you both have returned, and Ryan I see you have her holocron, it will make a nice addition to our library, how did you acquire it?" Loun said to the pair

"I was in the tomb and Sorsuz Syn herself showed me the way to her sarcophagus and then she had a challenge for me, kill her pet Leviathan and then I could have her holocron, and I did so." He said

"We can study it later, I am Darth Xalek, inquisitor, assassin, a dark council member, and both your master. Years ago after my father died I swore to your father I would guard his legacy and train his disciples and children. Your father, he sends you new armor. Change and we must leave for Byss." Darth Xalek said

Ryan changed into a set of Dark Demise armor and Ashana changed into a set of Destroyer armor that also came with a belt and bracers and each hooked their lightsaber on their belt. The three parted way to headed first to the imperial fleet space dock, there they could choose what kind of style they wanted to train in. Ryan chose to be a sorcerer and Ashana chose to be a juggernaut. While on the fleet Ryan gathered components needed and fashioned a new hilt for his lightsaber, the hilt was a simple rugged heavy duty hilt, but he kept the blade guards on. After a day of training on the space station, they then headed to Byss.

"Ah my children, I see you have completed your training and Darth Xalek says you killed a Leviathan and found not only Sorsuz Syn's lightsaber but her holocron as well, no one has ever been able to recover her holocron. Keep the holocron, study it in your spare time, learn everything and bring it to me."

"Now that you two have completed your training we have a task for you, we are thinking of putting you both on the dark council but you must prove your worth, an old rogue Sith Lord has returned to known space, he claims his power is second to emperor Vitiates. He seeks the Dread Masters, we have attempted to gain them as allies but they refuse us, this man is Darth Jadus, he has joined and become their newest Dread Master. Now find them, eliminate everyone on Oricon and then kill them all and bring us the device they use." Nox said

"Who are these dread masters?" Ashana asked

"The Dread masters a group of force users that once served emperor Vitiate, they were captured but eventually we set them free. However after the Hero of Tython defeated emperor Vitiate they went rogue, they haven't been a threat because they have been secluded and up until now they have never been a threat until now, they are attacking all ships in the near vicinity, for the past month we have been receiving disturbing distress calls of their ships are literally alive and torturing the female crew members and killing all the men, we have...seen the holos of any and all females being raped and slowly tortured to death by the ships. They must be stopped at once." Delilah said

The twins could see it in her eyes, they knew she was ruthless and bloodthirsty and had done things that would even make the dead emperor Vitiates skin crawl, but this truly shook her. They knew they would have to put their petty struggles to see who was more powerful aside and take the dread masters down now. They would take their fathers old imperial interceptor, Their fathers protocol droid could pilot the ship while they could use sith battle meditation to shield the ship and combined their power and strengthen the shield. The four founders were hesitant but in agreement.

Boarding the antique looking ship and firing it up the droid flew them to the Oricon system, the whole flight their they went into a deep meditation to protect the ship and and themselves. They could feel their power and them trying to get inside their minds, trying to probe them, but they had no idea who they were. Landing they were back to back and drew their lightsabers and began cutting away and frying all the dread guards and anyone else without hesitation.

They finally reached the Dread fortress, thousands of loyal insane followers were waiting but they slaughtered them all just like the time they were being chased by a pack of Tukata's and sliced them all open just as they were doing now, then they all appeared before them

"Good, you are mere apprentice yet the force flows through you two like no other. Forgive me I am Dread master Jadus, I am the newest dread master and the new leader. Who are you children?"

"I am Ryan Kallig, the son of emperor Nox Kallig."

"And I am Ashana Kallig, the daughter of emperor Nox Kallig. She said to the six figures standing infront of them

"I remember feeling the emperor die in the force permanently, my power was once second to him, but now I am more powerful than him."

"So you're the former Darth Jadus. Your not what I expected." Ashana said

"I was a slave to a master now I am my own master."

"You are no longer a master of the darkside, by joining these rogues you are a slave to it now, just as my father was once a slave on a backwater world, but now he is a true master of the darkside." Ryan said to him

"You dare challenge our level of power, we are more powerful than any-."

"No, the boy is right, we are beyond powerful but we are all slowly going insane from the Phobis Devices, we thought we thought we could handle the power but it was too much for even us at first but over time we mastered it but one of the original dread masters died and we thought Jadus joining us would stop us from going insane but in truth it has done nothing , but if you want these devices, you'll have to pry them from us." Calphayus said to the twins

Both drew their lightsabers and the dread masters did the same, they mostly studied the force but they still carried a lightsaber. But what they were unprepared for is that when these two combined their strength they were the perfect combination of lightsaber technique and force abilities, Ashana distracted them with her skills in the lightsaber while Ryan started unleashing storms of force lightning and at the same time he shielded his sister from the lightning, with all that was going on they couldn't perform their rituals, Raptus was the first to fall to Ryan's lightning then Bestia was next to fall to Ashana's lightsaber, Brontes died next, after that Styrak and Tyrans died next from both, Jadus died last and Calphayus surrender himself to the twins.

"I surrender to you both, I yield and lay down my weapon. Not even the emperor was this powerful, take the devices they are yours, but before you kill me, I know of a hidden Sith library." Calphayus said clutching his side

"You have my attention." Ryan said

"There is... a library on Arkania.... called.... Veeshas Tuwan... still intact."

"I thought the Jedi destroyed it at the conclusion of the great hyperspace war?" Ryan asked

"No..the Jedi tried...but failed, every time they sent either a group of Jedi or republic troops or both they were always corrupted, they managed to place..... nullification resins around it and claimed it was destroyed, here are coordinates for the libraries exact location. Now I told you what you wanted now kill me, I am unworthy of living." He said

Ashana cut his head off and they took the Phobis devices, and returned to their ship and contacted their father.

"Father we have taken care of dread masters." Ashana said

"Good, Ryan I name you Lord Kallig I and Ashana I name you Lady Kalling II."

"Thank you father, we have one more suprise, we will return home as soon as possible." Ryan said

"Good luck my children and may the force be with you." He said to them

They set a course for Arkania, arriving there they typed in the coordinates and flew there, landing they noticed the nullification resin shield, entering the shield they felt like they were back on Korriban, entering the great library they were in awe at how much history was was here, gathering as many text and spell books they could carry they carried them back to the ship and put in the cargo hold, they knew it would take several hours to get everything but they didn't mind, this was worth it, the architects at Korriban would defiantly have to add even more shelves to the library to add all this, but Ryan would study it all first, after nearly eight hours of gathering everything they were done. Ryan couldn't believe at how much history he and his sister had uncovered, he couldn't wait to start studying everything. With almost all the rooms filled they were ready to head back to Byss.

Entering the thrown room, they both bowed before the four founders.

"Founders, me and lady Kallig II have found a great deal of Sith knowledge thought to be lost after the great hyperspace war." Ryan said

"Your not talking about Veeshas Tuwan are you?" The empress said staring at them both in awe

"Yes my empress, our fathers ship is filled with it, we gathered it all, my brother intends to see what all is in there, then we plan to take it to Korriban to add to the great library." Ashana said

"We excepted you to just secure the devices but this is more than expected." Delilah said stepping I front of them both and pulled out her ancient lightsaber

"Lord Kallig The first I now name you Darth Kallig I, and Lady Kalling the second I name you Darth Kallig II." She said as she placed her blade on each side of their shoulders

"Thank you empress." They said in unison as they rose

"I am also placing both on the dark council for all of your hard work, return to Korriban and get started studying your treasure trove of Knowledge, and you best keep up your skills as a duelist, Anakin hungers for a challenge, i also name you the emperor's wrath, as my son is my wrath you are your fathers." She said to them both

"Yes my empress." They said In unison as well

They then got back in the ship and returned to Korriban. Once there they went to the dark council chambers and took their seats with Darth Xalek, Shan, Zavros, Bloodlust, and Wrath. Once they were settled in Darth Kallig I would begin going through and reading everything he and his sister got from Arkania, and Ashana would begin practicing with her lightsaber twice as hard since Anakin wanted to see if she was her equal as a duelist and she received a set of black Eradicator armor since she was promoted to a Wrath.
