75 Chapter 72: The Phantom Menace Episode VII

Our group trekked through the forest and swamps.

Taking out the droids we saw, and recruiting any members of the RNSF or resistance fighter we came across.

While we did Arwen and I discussed the current situation on the ground here on Naboo and began making several preliminary battle plans to achieve the queen's goal of capturing Gunray and finally ending this whole ordeal.

As we did we eventually reached the Gungan's Sacred Place.

Staying back with Arwen and the others from Dominicus I let this part of the original story play out exactly as it did in the film.

Which in the end led fo the Gungan's and our group forming an alliance.

All thanks to Padme.

Who even now has a charisma about her and a fierce spirit.

Moving on.

Once the Gungan's agreed to work with us all the big players gathered to discuss the final battle plan.

Which was basically the same as in the move, save for a few changes.

Cohl and our people from Dominicus would assist the Gungan's against the droid army.

While I went with Padme's group to the palace.

Where me and Maul would finally have our showdown.

Meanwhile HK-47 would head up in the Milano and assist the fighter pilots in taking down the Lucrehulk, which was functioning as the control center for the entire droid army on Naboo.

Taking Anakin and Shimi wirh him.

Which I know sounds dangerous, but honestly I think they would be safer up in space with HK than down here on the ground.

Thus once everything was said and done we moved to put the plan into action.

Me having also come to a decision about Maul's fate.

It's off with the red-skinned bastards head.

----------------------------

(3rd Person: POV)

Having heard the Gungan's battle plan Arwen Cohl knew it was the worst one he had ever heard.

Their army was going to march onto the plains, simply stand in place, raise a series of energy shields, and then lure the droid army to face them in a head-on confrontation inside of those said energy shields.

It was insane.

Despite this Cohl could not help but admire the Gungan's determination to execute this plan, for it showed how much they loved their homeworld.

The Gungan's knew a lot, if probably not all of them, who were going to participate in the plains battle were going to lose their lives.

Yet none of them shied away from it.

This attitude reminded Cohl of the one he possessed over two decades ago, when he to fought for his homeworld Miral.

Before he was betrayed by the very people who fought beside him.

A betrayal Cohl has recently been trying to come to terms with.

Ever since he started taking jobs from Van, when he simply knew him as Moriarty, and began working with him as a member of Dominicus.

Arwen Cohl was slowly turning back into the man he once was.

Yet another plan of Van's that was turning out successfully.

Moving on.

Arwen, not being able to follow the Gungan's battle plan, began helping them quickly develop a better strategy.

Which they more than welcomed.

Especially the Gungan commander of the operation, Roos Tarpals.

[Insert Image of Roos Tarpals Here]

In no time at all the new strategy was completed.

Just in time too, for the battle was getting ready to commence.

------------------------------

Sitting in the pilot sit of the Milano HK-47 checked to make sure all the ships systems were optimal.

As he did so Anakin entered the cockpit.

The astromech R2-D2 following behind him.

Stopping his actions HK-47 turned to face the two.

"Statement: Little human, you were told not to enter the cockpit by your mother." HK-47 spoke.

Annoyed he could not use the word meatbag. But his master had forbidden him to refer to Anakin and his mother as meatbag's until after the Naboo incident was over and they returned to Exis Station.

So reluctantly HK-47 restrained himself in that regard.

Very, very, reluctantly.

"But I want to help with the battle." Anakin spoke.

R2-D2 beeping in agreement.

"Statement: No. Now leave the cockpit or I will call the female organic who gave you life in here." HK-47 spoke.

"Oh alright." Anakin replied.

He and R2-D2 then left the cockpit.

After they did HK-47 turned back around and began finishing up the ships system check.

Hardly being able to wait to cause mass slaughter in space and destroy the inferior and disgraceful droids of the Trade Federation.

Which he hoped would relieve the irritation that was caused by Anakin.

"Statement: This is why I do my utmost to keep my distance from tiny organic meatbags." HK-47 mused.

Which was his way of saying he does not do well with children.

Completing the Milano's systems check HK-47 then took off.

His eyes glowing in anticipation for the coming slaughter that was about to commence.

-------------------------------

Dressed in his armor Arwen marched with the Gungan army onto the plains.

Doing so right in between Jar Jar Binks and Roos Tarpals.

Other members of Dominicus spread out amongst the ranks of the Gungan army.

After marching for a bit they all stopped.

Then the Gungan army deployed their energy shields, which covered the entirety of their army.

Once it did they stood and waited.

Until eventually their enemy appeared.

The droid legions of the Trade Federation.

B1 droids, along with several Multi-Troop Transports and Armored Assault Tanks.

Coming to a stop at the top of the hills they just crossed over the droid army prepared to attack.

Though right before they could two Amphibious Interstellar Assault Transport/infantry, or AIAT/I for short, ships flew over the droid army and launched concussion missiles at them.

The missiles striking the droid army, and causing major damage.

Part of the plan Cohl came up.

As for where the AIAT/i came from, Cohl and his fellow Dominicus members brought them when they landed on Naboo in their converted CR 90 corvette.

Coming around for another run the AIAT/i launched concussion missiles and struck the droid army once more.

They then flew out of range so they wouldn't be shot down.

And also because their job was done.

They had decimated over half of the droid army in one go.

Seeing this Cohl couldn't stop a grin from forming on his face.

Raising his commlink, attached to his right wrist, he contacted Van.

----------------------------------

(Van: POV)

Just as we entered the palace my commlink went off.

So I answered it. "Yes?"

"The battle has commenced." Cohl said.

"Understood." I replied.

I then disconnected the call.

Once I did I informed everyone the battle on the plains had commenced.

Then just as we predecited the palace became practically empty of droids.

So it was easy for us to reach the hangar.

But then once we did we ran into some B1 droids.

"Am, who are you?" One asked us.

"You're end, clankers." I said.

I then used Force Push to send all the droids in front of us sailing out the hangar bay door.

"Now, get to your fighters and take off." Padme told the pilots after my actions.

So they followed their queens orders and began taking off.

Though as they did I felt cold.

'Finally, he is here.' I thought.

I then turned around and saw him standing there.

Darth Maul.

Seeing him both Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon Jinn were shocked.

Understanable, considering no Jedi has faced a Sith in close a thousand years and they were thought extinct.

To bad everyone was wrong.

Throwing off his cloak Maul took his double-blade lightsaber off his belt, pointed it in our groups direction and activated it.

"Everyone go on, I will handle this." I spoke.

"No, Van. I cannot let you face a Sith alone." Qui-Gon spoke.

"Thank you for the concern Qui-Gon but I will be fine. Now go!" I shouted. Putting the Force into my words.

Feeling my power everyone began running before they even knew it.

Even Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, though reluctantly.

Leaving just me and Maul.

Looking at me he had a curious expression on his face.

Ignoring it I paid more attention to the droideka's that rolled up.

But before they could start blasting I shorted them out using Technometry, then pushed them out of the hangar using a burst of telekinesis.

I then activated my lightsaber's.

The blade of my new one being pure white.

Me having crafted it using a Krayt Dragon pearl I acquired on the black market.

It cost me a pretty credit, but it was so worth it.

Making a "come hither" motion wirh my left hand Maul charged at me.

So I did the same in turn.

Reaching each other our lightsaber blades clashed.

Signaling the official start of our battle.

Time to see how I measure up against a Sith.
