106 Chapter 103: Rise of The Mandalorians Episode VI

(Van: POV)

Sitting in the Milano's common room waiting for Obi-Wan to return HK-47 and I were near the end of a very mean game of Dejarik.

"You're move." I said.

"Statement: Yes, it is my move master. The winning move." HK-47 spoke.

He then moved his Scrimp and thus won the game.

Just as he did so Obi-Wan walked into the room. A content smile on his face, and based on the emotions I was sensing from him it looks like he and Satine finally gave into the horny.

Good for them.

"Welcome back." I said to Obi-Wan. "Oh and congratulations on losing your V-card." I spoke.

Making his eyes widen. "What?!" He shouted. "I'm not a virgin!"

"Not anymore." I retorted.

"I mean before today!" Obi-Wan replied.

"Oh, so you and Satine did play hide the lightsaber?" I asked. A shit-eating grin on my face.

"Observation: Based on my scans of you Jedaii meatbag which show an increased heart rate, an excessive amount of sweat, and bodily fluids that can only come from an organics reproductive organs, it stands to reason my master is correct. Conclusion: You and the stubbornly naïve pseudo-pacifistic duchess spent the last few hours exchanging bodily fluids." HK-47 spoke.

Obi-Wan opened his mouth to deny my and HK's claims, but he immediately closed it.

Telling me and my sociopathic droid companion everything we needed to know.

"Well seeing as you and Satine are husband and wife, it's only natural you'd want to do that after being apart for so long. Truly, I understand." I said. "I mean if I was away from Yennali and Serra for years like you were from Satine I wouldn't let either of them leave the bedroom for at least three days." I proclaimed without shame.

Just as I did Serra walked in and gave me a flat look.

Which I easily ignored.

For I am not ashamed to express my feelings for my girls.

Seeing I wasn't even the tiniest bit remorseful for my comments, like usual, Serra simply sighed and dropped the flat look off her face. She then turned to face Obi-Wan. "Welcome back. So, I take it you and the duchess enjoyed your alone time together?"

"We did." Obi-Wan replied. "She also informed me that the governor of Concordia has been contacted and is expecting our arrival." He spoke.

"Well then, we best not keep him waiting Serra." I said.

"Yes, let's not." Serra replied.

Once she did so Obi-Wan and HK-47 gathered whatever supplies they needed and disembarked from the Milano.

For they would be staying behind to "investigate" other avenues on our mysterious attacker.

But really, they were on Satine duty as we originally planned.

Which I am now absolutely sure Satine will not question. Given what she and Obi-Wan just spent the last few hours doing.

Anyway.

Once Obi-Wan and HK-47 were off the Milano I began powering my ship up, and soon Serra and I were off towards Concordia.

The place 'Death Watch' calls home, and the place that will be the organizations grave.

-----------------------------------------------

[Mandalore Sector, Mandalore System, Concordia]

Piloting the Milano into Concordias' atmosphere I was amazed at the greenery and mountains I saw through the cockpits viewport.

Making me wish the moons back in my old world were like the moons in the Star Wars Universe.

Rife with life, and suitable for habitation.

Bringing the Milano down onto a designated landing pad I shut down the ships engines, but kept the weapons systems and deflector shields at the ready. Just in case Pre Vizsla decided to say "fuck it" and stop hiding himself and 'Death Watch' in the shadows and come out into the light by trying to kill Serra and I.

For that definitely seems like something he would do.

But thankfully he didn't.

My senses spread out through the force a kilometer in all directions surrounding the MIlano I didn't pick up any ambushers lying in wait. Organic or droid, thanks to my Technometry.

But despite not sensing anything there is no way in hell I am letting my guard down.

Shutting down the all of the Milano's systems entirely I got up from the pilot seat and left the cockpit.

I then headed for the cargo hold, and upon reaching it I found Serra waiting for me.

Once we joined up we walked down the ramp of the Milano, and found ourselves face to face with Pre Vizsla and several others.

Who I couldn't sense any hostile emotions from in the slightest.

Pre Vizsla and those with him read like totally non-threatening individuals in the Force, even though both Serra and I knew they were anything but.

Making me respect them a little.

But only just.

"Governor Vizsla, a pleasure to meet you." I told Pre. "My name is Van Sunrider, and this is my companion Serra Keto."

"A pleasure, governor." Serra said.

"The same to the both of you." Pre replied. "Welcome to Concordia." He said. "Duchess Satine's government informed me of why you two are here, and let me just say whatever help you need you will have it. For we of Concordia want this rumor of this 'Death Watch' member to be put down as much as our brethren on Mandalore. After all, we Mandalorians are no longer like that. Even those of us who no long live on Mandalore itself" He spoke.

Lying as easily as breathing.

But then again Pre has been fooling Satine and her government all these years so it makes sense he's a damn good liar.

"Thank you governor, we appreciate it." I said. "And if you don't mind Serra and I would like to start our investigation immediately."

"Of course." Pre replied.

He then assigned an escort to Serra and I.

We then went through a couple of motions, before starting our "investigation" which made no traction at all.

This went on for four days.

Until on the fourth night Serra and I put on our battle armor, slipped the surveillance Pre had assigned to us, and headed for the supposedly abandoned mines.

To continue with the rest of Phase Two, which would lead into Phase Three and the end of the 'Death Watch'.
